Best Buy

This place should change their name from Best Buy to Worst Service. AWFUL service at this store.
One time I went in to look at Washer and Dryers and couldn’t find anyone to help me and ended up going to Lowe’s, they lost out on a sale due to their bad customer service but seeing the bad luck I had with a dishwasher purchase it was probably a good thing.
A few months ago I needed a new dishwasher and had to wait almost a half hour before someone could help me. The only reason I didn’t walk out that time was I had a 10% off coupon and they were offering free install as a promo and the competition wasn’t. Even though I had a print out with a deliver time and install time (they use separate delivery and installation companies for dishwashers and you have to schedule them at least two days apart and then someone comes to pick up the dishwasher), they never showed up or called. After calling the 800 number I found out they didn’t even have the dishwasher in stock and it would be another week and then they didn’t show up the next week either. After three weeks of waiting I finally had the dishwasher delivered and then the person who was to remove the old one never showed up and I was stuck with an old dishwasher in my small kitchen for over a week waiting for pick up.
Another time I needed a new laptop and saw online best buy had it in stock. Even though Amazon was cheaper I wanted it right away and decided I would see if they would do a price match. Waited over 15 minutes for a sales rep and just played around on the display model and after seeing I liked it I went online and ordered it on Amazon and had it two days later.
No wonder BBY is being nick named the Amazon Showroom (people go to best buy to look at products and then order it for less on Amazon). with this poor level of customer service.
Some of the stores I have been to are great like the one at Spring Meadows, but this store is awful.

The store manager LAURA is awful. Not friendly, in fact she is very rude. She does not belong in customer service. Best Buy sent me an email to use my rewards certificate but the store cashier said I didn’t have any rewards currently available. I showed her the email and the manager LAURA still wouldn’t accept it. This is not the first time either! They lure you into the store by sending you the rewards email (which I earned from spending $ 700 on Thanksgiving) but then won’t let you use it.

Best Buy was very helpful in trying to get me upgraded to a new phone BUT SPRINT is being a BITCH.
I will NOT be forced to get a new service plan just because I am getting another phone. Ive been with Sprint 16 years (June 1998) Im getting ticked with this Force me shit.

oddest place i’ve ever shopped at… it HONESTLY 100% depends on how you look on if someone will help you.
i walked in last winter… not a soul said ANYTHING to me. they were busy helping people decide on what they’d like to have, but didnt buy a thing.
I on the other hand bought a high end computer and got a shocked look from a manager and cashier when i said «NOPE» when asked «was the staff helpful in finding everything for you today?»
i only go here if its absolutely needed, they dont value your business but will talk about wal mart like a dog.

Do NOT, under any circumstances, have an appliance installed by this or any Best Buy in the Toledo area. This isn’t a complaint about Best Buy itself but the horrible installation company that they use out of Detroit called Optima.
First experience was a dishwasher that resulted in 4 missed installation dates and several wasted vacation days and hours on the phone before finally having the situation resolved. The second experience was a washer and dryer that is still in the process of being resolved after more missed install dates.
Optima has awful customer service and blame everything on Best Buy. Do yourself a favor and have your appliances installed by a local company.

This BB is always busy. I did find what I needed and $ 5.00 less here than Radio Shack and Target. Same item. The prices are lower. Oh My item was under $ 20.00.
I walked through the door and was greeted, i asked the associate where the item was and he took me to it.
Great Customer Service !
