Deepam India is a combination food deli and a full line grocery store owned and operated by Revathi Chillapalli.
Food is prepared every day with fresh ingredients to cater to health conscious clientele. You may pick from a selection of 12 – 14 entrees. Revathi will be happy to answer any questions you may have with food selection and the many health benefits of Indian food.
Deepam India is the only Indian food supplier approved by Ohio Department of Agriculture (ODA) and USDA to supply wholesale food to local establishments.
Catering: We can cater food for small parties and upto 400 people. Call 419−843−1552 and talk to the owner Revathi for planning.
Deepam food in containers is available at the following area cafeterias: UT Hospital, St. Vincent Hospital and St. Charles Hospital.

History
Established in 2004.
Revathi Chillapalli, Owner who is of Indian heritage has frequented several Indian restaurants over the years and was displeased with greasy food served. She embarked on the idea to prepare and serve healthy food which can be taken out or enjoyed at Deepam.
Revathi wanted Deepam to be convenient so customers can shop groceries while they purchase food.
Revathi has been in business for the past 20 years in food, technology training and commercial real estate.
Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner
Revathi is a graduate of University of Toledo and holds 2 Masters degrees. She came to the US in 1980. Upon completing her second graduate degree Revathi started her first food business. After several years operating that business, she moved into starting and operating Futurekids, technology training business.
Revathi is an accomplished artist and has several oil paintings displayed at Deepam India.
Revathi’s objective has been to introduce the health benefits and the varied complex flavors of Indian food to the good people of Metro Toledo and surroundings.
