Everything seemed reasonable but our room, which was on the first floor, was subject to loud, pounding mechanical noises every few minutes through the night. Perhaps we could have slept through the night in another room but moving the kid would have been a hassle.

On my recent visit to Toledo, Ohio this September, I stayed inside a Radisson hotel for the very first time. From various tv commercials and media advertisements, I always saw the Radisson Brand as one which exuded class, beauty, elegance and comfort. Needless to say, I was very excited to be staying there and I even joined their Club Carlson Hotel Rewards Program. As a frequent traveler, in the future, I looked forward to adding The Radisson to the hotels I would frequently stay in. I was in Toledo for a special event, and the event’s host told me that the Radisson was the only hotel nearest to the event’s location, and recommended that I stay there. When I arrived in the area where the hotel was located, I had a hard time finding it. There is only one sign on the main street, saying the hotel is in the area, but it doesn’t give directions on finding it. The hotel is actually located off the main street, in a back area which is heavily under construction. After checking into my room, I saw that it needs to be remodeled and is in desperate need of new furniture. The desk was old, and had several black spots on it. One(by the bed) of the two phones didn’t work. The bathtub had chips in it, and needs to be replaced. The carpet was old, and the window screens had big holes in it. This room was nothing like the Radisson Brand shown in commercials. Furthermore, I was surprised that Club Carlson members didn’t receive complimentary breakfast, or any other form of appreciation that other hotels offer their members. However, if you are an early bird, anyone can get a complimentary piece of fruit, and a Nutritional Grain Bar from 4 am to 6 am. Also in order to accumulate Club Carlson points, you have to charge your restaurant bill to your room. I didn’t know that until after my trip was over, and I spoke with a Manager about all the problems I listed above. She said the hotel has plans to remodel. Also, we discussed the additional $ 20 fee which no one bothered to tell me about when I made my reservation, checked in, or checked out of the hotel. A Manager said the additional $ 20 is charged to the guests credit card, then is refunded back to them up to eight days later, when nothing is missing or damaged in their room after check out. On a positive note, several great Staff members made my stay more pleasant. They were very kind, courteous, and attentive. In the Hotel’s 31 Hundred Restaurant: Sharon was an excellent server; Norman, an excellent Bartender; Julie, an excellent server; and Jermaine is an excellent Chef. Additionally, at the Front Desk, Joy and Rob were very professional, kind, and knowledgeable.

Friendly front desk staff prepared our room in advance of our arrival with our requested roll-away. A/C had been turned on as well making our room fresh and crisp for our late-night arrival. Room was larger than most we’d experienced on our long two-week road trip. With the great price from a leading low-price hotel reservation site, this was a wonderful experience. Those chastising this hotel for no complimentary morning breakfast need to get out more; most hotels at this level do not include breakfast. I do have to say that we have not yet checked out the pool, a common detractor for most reviewers.

When u enter the lobby, looks clean … Enter your room… Yes clean, nice smelling soap, flat screen tv, fridge & microwave oven… complementary 2 bottles of water too together with the usual coffee & tea sachet . Having kids in tow, we’ll obviously use the indoor pool then… BAM! Someone needs to do some serious power wash here! SERIOUSLY !

Extremely friendly staff that were always ready to help. Room was on the smaller side, but was clean and well stocked with towels and toiletries. The pool was a little dissapointing as it was on the colder side for an indoor pool and was not the cleanest. My reasoning for the 3 star was with the booking process and misinformation provided on their web site and a subsequent phone call. My wife was booking on their corporate web site and saw a special for an «executive suite», however this room type was not listed in the selection of rooms. When she called to ask if this room had a separate seating area, which is helpful for us to put our child’s crib, she was told all the executive suite came with was extra towels and soap. That seemed odd that you would pay extra for something I am sure the hotel would provide upon request. She was ensured we would have either two queen or one king sized bed. When we arrived, however, we had a room with two full sized beds and we were not able to be switched. Definitely not the end of the world just dissapointing when my wife called in advance about that specific ammenity. My only other issue would be the hotel is situated in very close proximity to an area you do not want to be in when the sun goes down.

I could only wonder why one would stay here for reasons other than proximity to the medical center. The location is distant to downtown and attractions. The facility is dated(no USB port with which to charge a phone) and awkward(takes about 10 minutes to get from your car to the room). No free breakfast for an expensive room in the middle of a hospital parking lot.

My wife and I stated Friday and Saturday 10÷17−18. I was not impressed. The ah trays at the exits were overflowing. The room was adequate, nothing special for the rate we paid. It would be nice to have a fan in the bathroom. The pool are was clean. The water in the whirlpool was slightly warm. The temperature of the pool water was o.k. No «free» continental breakfast. The motel fits have an overpriced restaurant.

We had a pretty nice three day stay. The staff was very friendly, rooms were clean and spacious, pool was nice and workout area was very nice. One complaint was the close proximity to a not so nice area right next to the University. Your actually told not to go walking across the street to restaurants after dark.

not too bad, a little pricey, I ha to use my points, and it still called for a 100 $, the room was not bad, had two double beds. one could not stay on its bed frame. the pool area and work out area was nice. the check in was fast. they are under construction. over all, yes I would stay again
