Update! Still a 1. But I just found out that AT&T UVerse is available in the building! So I instantly called to cancel my service on the 29^th, (2 days from now), and they shut it off in 30 minutes. Long story short I had to call back and remind them, after a 30 minute hold, that I asked to have the cable shut off on Wednesday. Bottom line, avoid them like the plague, they’re over priced middlemen. I’m now paying $ 50 less for 100 MORE channels through AT&T Uverse with DirectTV!

So I just want to update and change my review after Suite Solutions took the time, not only to fix our cable and internet, but also go out of their way to make sure we were taken care of.
My first impression was less than great after a late install (9pm) and bad service issues. However, that has totally changed.
After reviewing on here (giving a 1 star), I was contacted almost immediately and asked about my service issues. Not only did they promise to fix the problems, they allowed ME to pick a time for a technician to come back out so we would not be stuck waiting around all day again. I wasn’t looking for money or free upgrades, I just wanted good service and a tv to watch. They went out of their way and compensated us because of the issues we were having, which not only do I appreciate, but made me feel valued as a customer because they could have just taken my money and ran. I felt heard by Suite Solutions and am happy to have my issues resolved.
In all honestly, I waited to change my review to make sure the technician did arrive today during the time we had decided on, which he did. He found our problem (a bad connection on the outside of our building) and double checked everything, including multiple channels, to make sure it was fixed. So far, our internet and cable have been great, no problems at all.
My husband has had to contact customer service before this, because he could not remember his pin to log on. It was 11pm and he sent an email, figuring we would hear back in the morning. They called his cell phone less than 5 minutes later with the pin.
Overall, I am very impressed by the customer service and both our internet and cable have been great since.

Slow internet. Paying the top price and getting speed tests at 7 mbps… call their customer service and they basically said «everything fine on our end. Sorry.» They answer the phones fast enough but they can’t do anything about it.
Also, it goes out about 2 times a month for hours randomly.

The only reason I even work with this company is because I have to because of where I live. This company alone would make me want to not live in this entire complex. I was on hold for 30 minutes just waiting for nothing.

I don’t mind piling on to this thread at all. I also normally never review anything, but feel a civic duty to warn potential subscribers before buying service from Suite Solutions. I had internet only for a little over a year until my apartment complex allowed us to switch over to AT&T.
When the internet worked, speeds were just average (I paid $ 52/​month for 25 mbps). It was never ACTUALLY 25 mbps, but still not awful. The problem was that it was frequently out of commission. Out of the 12 – 14 months I used their «service,» I had to have a technician come out about 6 or 7 times. Four hour window and they usually showed up with 5 minutes left on the clock.
Definitely not worth the price… if you don’t have a choice just save your money and hold out for something better. You’d be better off getting a mobile hotspot than going with these people. Would still much prefer Comcast over AT&T if given the option, but ANYTHING is better than Suite Solutions.

Upon closing my Account on September 15, which, according to the language printed on the back of their bills, indicated that ‘all balances were paid in full at the time of cancellation’, they subsequently sent me a bill dated September 24 for a movie that was watched on July 29. After two lengthy calls in an attempt to have them cancel this charge given the cancellation of the Account, they stated that they didn’t have that charge available in their system at the time that we cancelled. So, in spite of our asking for total charges due upon cancelling the Account and paying that full about, they refuse to cancel the bill for a movie that was watched six weeks prior to that cancellation. Their explanation was that their systems didn’t give them access to that charge, so, of course, that was MY problem. Suffice it to say, we will not pay this bill, and we recommend NOT trusting Suite Solutions Technology or their Billing systems.

I wish Unilocal had an option for less than one star. PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU BUY.
This company is quite literally the most incompetent ISP ever. That’s saying a lot too considering I’ve yet to find an ISP that doesn’t enrage me. Here is a short list of all the reasons why suite solutions is awful.
1. They often create contracts with residential complexes to limit your only option to using their service.
2. They require that you lease/​purchase their equipment despite having your own equipment of the exact model and make.
3. They charge you 10−20% of retail value of their equipment on lease per month to make over a 100% return easily on their equipment.
4. They do offer the ability to purchase your equipment to avoid the previously mentioned scam, however you do not get to know which piece of equipment you buy until the technician brings it to install it.
5. They cannot contact their technicians to provide any special requests to them prior to install. So you cannot tell them anything or ask them anything.
6. After the technician who you cannot talk to arrives, if you are unhappy with the installation format. They charge you for the technician despite no installation whatsoever even though you couldn’t provide special instructions prevent the issue in the first place.
Bottom line, this company is incompetent and if you can avoid their poor service I would at almost any price increase just to avoid their utter and complete ineptitude.

My review is based on their customer service and their billing practices. I was «held hostage» by my apartment complex; this was the only available solution for cable/​Internet. Each time I called, I felt like a criminal. Numerous questions to prove who I was EVEN TO FIND OUT WHY THERE WAS A SERVICE INTERRUPTION! Now that I have moved and closed the account, they went ahead and auto-​billed me for another month. After they check my returned equipment, I will get a refund in 8 – 12 WEEKS. Literally no emotion on the part of the robot-​like woman who answered the phone. Must get so much abuse due to the crap the company doles out that she just has to be hardened to do the job!

As many others have said — this is quite possibly the worst ISP around. They are the only ISP available in the complex I live (it was previously Comcast before management signed this new contract with Suite Solutions). I pay more for slower speeds and often unreliable service.
You’re required to use their modem (for an additional fee of course) regardless if you have your own and the customer service reps, although polite and courteous, are hard to get a hold of and are not very helpful.
Currently I pay for «up to 18mbps,» (the fastest speed available) but my actual download speed is rarely above 10mbps. Average speeds are generally 7−8mbps.
Avoid this ISP at all costs.

I have lived in 6 different countries all over the world (from Africa to Australia, Europe etc) This is by far a the worst scam of a business I have ever encountered. Low quality internet service, low service quality and waaaay expensive for what it is. You will have to spend hours and hours on the phone, with technicians, operators etc. to have a couple of hours of uninterrupted internet. And then you will have to go again through the painstaking process of rebooting everything just to prove that everything is OK after of course having stayed for 1 – 2 days with download speeds of 1 – 2 mbps. I have videos, calls, photos etc that prove how bad a quality of internet we are getting. Stay away from them.

So, it’s clear from all the reviews (mine included) that absolutely no one likes Suite Solutions. I still don’t really LIKE them, but I feel the need to give some credit where it is due.
In the last couple months, it appears that Suite Solutions updated how they obtain their internet (
switched from showing AT&T to Cogent Communications as the actual ISP and standard IP addresses changed), and the result was a massive boost in internet speeds. Previous we were paying standard pricing for speeds barely above DSL (a good speed test would be 8Mbps download, 0.75 upload). Overnight, speeds more than quadrupled, and now I’m getting a whopping 36Mbps download, 6+ upload.
They made these changes without any increases in monthly fees, and when they rolled out the change in our building, the employees they sent over were great (as have been all the in-​person people we’ve worked with).
So, well done Suite Solutions. It appears you’ve finally done something right.

If I could give it 0 stars I would! Absolutely the poorest excuse for a company I have ever found (next to Wal-​Mart and Comcast) I am forced to use this awful service beause the apartment complex I moved to is not in an area where I can get anything BUT this… I have to reset my internet 4 or 5 times a day because the service goes out. I explained that to the zombies they have answering the phones and she is like well I don’t know what to tell you… AND they are completely OVERPRICED for what you get…

WORST COMPANY EVER. It is so bad, it’s not even funny. The cable service doesn’t work, their customer service is unavailable and doesn’t have the knowledge to fix any technical issues once you get them on the phone after 30 minutes on hold. It’s just awful. I don’t understand how they can continue ripping people off without some sort of legal action taking place.
I expect to get a check in the mail from some class action suit someday.

I have never cared enough to review anything on Unilocal before, but I am happy to leave this one.
I, like others, was forced to go with this horrible company when I moved into a new complex. Initially I was told that I could sign with ATT but that was false and now I am stuck. I have been contracted in to internet providers before, but nothing has ever been this bad.
I am paying $ 60 a month for «12mpbs» internet, and some basic cable channels that I could care less about, they are grainy anyway. Its possible that those speeds exist, but my speeds are never higher than 5mbps when I am home, and often they are lower (at the time of this review 2.7mbps)
And my connection is frequently lost, a fact that customer service’s response was «We can not guarantee our service during peak hours, or when connected to a router, or any wifi device».
Comcast offers better service for cheaper locally. And to be honest, despite the horror stories I have heard, I would go with them in a heartbeat, even if it was $ 20 more!
TL DR: High prices for lacking services, frequent problems, poor (if any) technical support.

By far the worst cable/T.V. Provider in existence. I was forced into their service when my apartment complex decided to cancel their contract with Comcast.
Horribly expensive and you don’t even receive some of the most basic sports channels. Customer service is god awful and will put you on hold for hours.
Like a previous reviewer stated, if the apartment complex you are viewing has this service, avoid it like the plague!

I have no words to express how bad is this company.
I even have no mood to try.
I will just be very brief.
Speed was terrible, called the technician, after 5 days he showed up.
He did a speed test, the speed was fine, not it’s back to 2 Mbps as usual.
Get anything but this.

Seriously worst cable provider I’ve ever experienced! The cable always goes out, they constantly have to come out to fix the issue which requires you to leave work early, and their customer service is awful. I hate this company and don’t have a choice because the association has an agreement with them.

Horrible company! If you have a choise do not go with this provider. The representatives are very rude and the service is horrible. It seems like every two months I have to call the company because my cable does not work.

I feel like I’m just repeating everything I’ve already seen said, but I just wanted to add in to vent. I recently moved into a new apartment, and I absolutely love the area and the neighborhood. The ONLY problem with the building is that they only offer Suite Solutions. I’ve literally sent emails to the building begging them to switch to Comcast, but I’m sure Suite Solutions is offering them a great kickback to force this entire building to deal with Suite Solutions.
I’ve called Suite Solutions around 10 times in this first month and they continue to drag me around and refuse to accept responsibility and issue credits for the fact my TV pixelates consistently and the internet download speed is usually around 2.0 KBPS even though I’m paying for 30.0 KBPS.
As others have said, if you find a great apartment that offers Suite Solutions only, realize that you’ll be paying more for cable and internet than you will with Comcast, and then realize that the reception will be out 10−15% of the time and you won’t get any credits back from Suite Solutions and they certainly won’t be able to fix it no matter how many technicians they send out to your place.
I used to hate comcast, but now I miss them, so that is saying something.

If it were possible to give this place a negative rating, I would do it! The complex I lived in supplied our cable so I couldn’t go with a place that actually knew what they were doing! I upgraded to get DVR and some of my favorite channels. What a mistake! Yeah, I had my shows recorded, but without fail, there was signal loss and I’d miss bits and pieces of conversation! How annoying! There were signal losses even in the best weather and don’t even bother in bad weather! What a joke this place was! And no matter what, if you called, you were on hold forever!!! Stay away from them, stay away from any complex that supplies them! It’s not worth the hassle to have to deal with the crappiest service on the planet!!!
