I was tired of going to my regular tax guy when I saw the reviews on Unilocal I decided to give him a try they were not kidding all the people who work there are very nice I definitely recommend it

I had gotten a postponement on my taxes this past year, and needed to find a reliable tax service for my LLC as well. Thats when I found Randall G. Based on the outstanding Unilocal reviews I decided to give him a try. Lucky for me they had moved offices closer to my area. We finally met up today and good news is there is a coffee bean and plenty of free parking. Elevator or stairs, and theres a Chase ATM/​bank right across the street. Hell if your up for it there’s even a fitness training spin cycle thingy right next door to Guido Tax Services. Randall definitely won with just the location alone. In regards to actual business service, so far hands down the best. The place is still starting up at its new home, so there’s only one office, Randall’s office. I think there might be one more, but the one I was in was his office. It reminded me of Better Call Saul or something, minus the odd lawyer guy. Instead Randall handles all the tax areas required. Since I just opened an LLC, I needed to get a federal ID#, something I wasn’t fully aware at the moment. Randall sat with me as I called the company corp where the LLC was created. He help me ask all the right questions, then set up a next appointment for when all the right paper work is in place. I’ll complete my full review once the taxes have been fully filed…(to be continued).
Side note: Extremely helpful, insightful, patient and friendly. Like I said its like your own better call Saul – perhaps we can alter it a little and say, «Taxes? Better let Randall handle… Guido Tax Service». Boom!

I’ve always done my own taxes, but with it being complicated in 2014, I went to Guido’s office this year to get it done. Leo helped me get the best return possible. Quick, competent, and efficient service. Tip: Make an appointment during tax season. It’s definitely necessary as the guys get busy.

This is my 3^rd year going to Randall. I’ve been meaning to give him a review and I’m finally getting around to it. Unilocal is exactly how I found him to begin with. He’s been very good at explaining and answering all my questions and in telling me what I can do for a better refund or what I should or shouldn’t be doing. I appreciate his expertise and patience. I will definitely follow his advice and keep coming back specially since his fee is very reasonable. I’m grateful I found a professional who is close to me and knows what he’s doing. I highly recommend him.

This place is amazing it was my first time EVER doing taxes and I decided to do it on my own. I wanted to find a place that was fast, clear, and that won’t have me waiting for hours. And this was exactly the place! As the first time doing taxes ever this place met even beyond my expectations they are fast take appt. Only so therefore eliminates the waiting and are super great in their customer service !! I called about 7 other places and they charged me the least. Sooo many people hate doing their taxes but this made everyone else’s experiences irrelevant to me because this was a great experience I was in n out in 30mins plus I told my mom cause she was getting charged way too much somewhere else! So the very next day she went to Guido’s income tax and loved it as well !! Very happy I choose this place me and my mom will both be coming back next year !!

Awesome place. Marcus was very helpful. I went there at 2pm didn’t make an appointment. Marcus finished all my work within 45 mins. I recommend this place.

Since my taxes are starting to get more complicated, for the first time ever I decided not to «free e-​file».
I’ve used H&R Block before to do back-​dated taxes, but those guys are NOT nice, and it was super expensive! :(I decided this year I’d look up a local tax guy on Unilocal,and just give it a try. I am SO glad I did!
My fiancé and I both went in to Guido Income Tax Services on a Saturday — we got there early for our appointment, and even though we had the appointment with Randall, one of his associates, Leo, was able to see us early so we sat down with him.
Now let me tell you, Leo is GREAT. Kind, knowledgeable, quick and patient, he was able to chat with us and be super friendly while doing something as boring as our taxes. On top of that, he was still able to stay focused and got more details out of us than I had ever bothered to put into my taxes before.
Not only was the service great, Leo got us BOTH larger tax refunds than we got last year! He also answered other questions we had about how our taxes would change once we bought a home, and how things would change if we got married, and made really sensible recommendations.
I feel really confident we got a great deal for the service, and I would recommend these guys to anybody — especially LEO!

I made an appointment to go in yesterday because the Unilocal reviews are perfect. I was in desperate need of a good tax preparation. I’ve had issues in the past with my previous tax service company with communication and reliability. At Guidos I was helped by Randall, who greeted me right away. He was finishing up with his customer and I was helped within 5 minutes. The process with Randall was quick but effective. I wasn’t all prepare with the questions I was asked, because in the past they never bothered to be detail with me. But since Randall seemed very experienced in the field, I got through the questions steadily. My refund was fair and square, no gimmicks. That’s what I look for in a tax services location; to be experience, honest and humble.
Whats best is if I refer someone I will get $ 15 off a person!!!

Ignacio took such great care of me! He was very thorough and did everything he could to make sure I was able to get my full tax return. My boyfriend took me him and I’m glad he did. Ignacio also helped me with my W-​2 because there were some mistakes on it. Ignacio was very personable and easy to talk to. The whole process was very simple. This was my first time doing taxes and I’m happy to say it was a good experience. I will definitely be going back next year.

Before coming here I was going to another tax guy in NoHo and I guess because I was young he thought he could charge me almost $ 300 to get my taxes done. This is my first year filing taxes so naturally I was very nervous when making a decision of where/​whom to trust. I decided to give Guido a shot since they had the most and best reviews within my area. I contacted Randall and he got back to me immediately. It was my only day off and he willingly fit me into their very busy schedule. I was assisted by Leo who has excellent interpersonal skills. He was very genuine and approachable making the experience a lot more comfortable. He was very detailed and extremely helpful. So I’m from Boca Raton, therefore I know plenty of Jewish accountants and lawyers. They usually handle my taxes. But this year (my 3^rd year in LA) I decided to try out a local accountant for my taxes.
Can you do them for free online? Yes. Can you stop by a local HR Block and file them? Yes. But what if you wanted someone that has been involved in taxes in your area for many years? Or someone that has 5 star Unilocal reviews? Someone who you could actually turn to for advice… I wanted that– so after reading reviews I decided to try out Guido’s.
Small place in NoHo, a few people working and definitely busy. Within an hour they had filed my taxes both on my W2 through my 9 – 5 as well as handling all of the expenses I spent making a movie this year. (Actor knowledgeable when it comes to tax write offs) I felt like I was taken care of and my money was handled by knowledgeable and trustworthy people. Look forward to doing my taxes again next year with them.
The only thing that bothered me — and this has nothing to do with their abilities but could they please clean the fish tank and remove «gigantor» from it? Lol.
