I went in for a «Zen Crystal» Facial and… O-​M-​G !!! This is got to be THE most amazing, inside/​out beauty treatment you could get ~anywhere~ in So Cal. Multiple friends had raved about this Facial but nothing they had told me had prepared me for it. It was a hybrid between an energetic clearing, a gentle massage and a beauty session all three wrapped into one. The funny thing is, this is not one of your typical hippy places, but rather, a very well established Day Spa with all the traditional services you would expect, the Owner Angela is Licensed with almost two decades of experience in the beauty sector but even more important, a super sweet, loving, kind and intuitive Healer. This Facial was amazing in that not only did it purified my skin but also cleared my energy and made me feel incredibly good inside and out. The procedure began with setting up an intention/​question for my higher Self and having special crystals and stones laid on me. Almost immediately, my mind went from chatty to quiet. After having meticulosly worked on my face with humidifier and hot towels, exfoliator, serums and whatnot, she proceeded to massage my scalp, hands, arms, knees… even my feeeeet!!! It was very humbling and I felt very loved and cared-​for. Once out, she explained that I must have had an energetic block released because I felt tingling and vibration coming out of my toes, which she also sensed. I was in Cloud 9 the rest of the evening and my face looked radiant and felt hydrated for the next several days. Angela is one very special and gifted woman. Don’t walk, run to schedule your Zen Crystal Facial session right away. before it is no longer an insider secret ;-)

Angela is gives amazing facials. She is extremely knowledgeable and the products she uses are excellent. She has the kindest soul you will ever meet. I buy all her products and her makeup line. Just try her once and you will see.

I love OC Skin Secrets! In the 8 years I’ve been a customer I’ve only been to Angela, however everyone there is great, very knowledgeable and so nice. I am pretty particular about my brows and I have great trust with Angela. She was referred by my original brow girl who was moving out of state. She said she would only trust Angela to do her brows and knew I’d be in great hands. She was right! Angela was trained by Anastasia and understands the framing of the face. She is gentle and thorough. going over all the fine hairs with tweezers. Everything is always clean. I also have facials pretty regularly here. Angela has to pretty much wake me up after each session. I glow for days after a facial! I pretty much let Angela decide which facial is right for me based on the time of year and how my skin is but she really listens to me too. OC Skin has excellent product offerings and I never feel obligated to purchase anything. I like to mix it up, but do have some favorites that I regularly purchase from OC Skin. This is a little hideaway on Forman in Toluca Lake and it’s such a cozy and adorable place. I look forward to each visit!

I have been going to OC skin for years. I love Angela (she is the owner) Jessica and Meghan. The are all fabulous. They all have given me facials and waxing over the years. They are all so sweet and they always made me feel relaxed and special. The spa is very welcoming and there is always soft music playing. I would recommend OC Skin to anyone. I won’t go any place else to get my facials.

My skin has never looked better than when I went to OC Skin Secrets. Jessica is fabulous. I get the FSD (Facial skincare device) as well as the microdermabrasian. I have tried many places for facials for many years now but, I am really getting a lot of compliments on my skin since coming here and I am a faithful follower of this place.

This review is long overdo! I’ve been coming to OC skin secrets off and on for about a year, and all of the ladies are great. The owner Angela is very friendly and knowledgeable and carries some great product lines (I even get my makeup here! Great foundation). It’s very cozy and cute inside and almost feels like you are in a friend’s home. I had a facial plus microderm today with Meghan and my skin is glowing! What a relaxing experience too. I loved that she took her time with everything and did a lot of facial and neck massage. a nice unexpected bonus that I haven’t always received in a facial. I will be back again soon & excited to try the Collagen facial!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Angela! she is amazing with skin. I have gone to her many times and must say my skin has never looked better. I send all of my girlfriends to her, she is sooooo knowledgeable and caring. I will never let anyone else give me a facial again!

Woman who did my brows (the owner I think) was very nice, but my eyebrows came out markedly uneven. Sorry, I won’t be returning.

Both Angela and Crystal know their stuff– you’re not just a number here. These ladies know their clients and are sure to customize skin care and treatments based on each individual’s needs, spending plenty of time on each and every person. You never feel rushed out of your appointment.
I have given friends and family members gift certificates for special occasions, bridal showers and birthdays and every single one of them has been pleased with everything about their experience.

This is my new favorite place. On top of the relaxing atmosphere and adorable awe-​inspiring shabby chic décor (and not to mention the delicious truffles on entering), the service was so amazing — i felt like I was at a celebrity spa.
I am very VERY picky and stubborn when it comes to my eyebrows. I have only gone to one person who recently retired. I was soo satisfied with my brows and eyelash dye, Angela also recommended my new favorite face mineral concealer/​moisturizer its my favorite. Can’t wait to return and try the foot detox.

Do yourself a favor and go to OC Skin Secrets. I saw the shop while leaving trader joe’s and got out for a flyer. I called for an appt b/​c the door may be locked if you don’t have an appt, and first had my eyebrows shaped. I’m fanatical about my eyebrows, and feel best when they look good. Angela was so amazing I promised myself I’d go back for a facial first chance I could. I had a ‘Dr Grandel facial’ with microdermabrasion. My skin looked sooo amazing I can’t WAIT to go back for another. In the meantime I picked up a couple lotions that Angela suggested, and used during the facial. She also had a sample on hand so I tried them at home, and did not break out. Everything breaks me out, so I was thrilled.
The inside of the shop is very cozy as well. I couldn’t rave enough. I’ll just end by saying that Angela loves what she does, answers questions, and is very helpful. You can tell she wants you to look your best, and that’s a priceless find!

OC Skin Secrets is a family affair for the women in my house. My sister and I both suffer from various acne problems (though mine have arisen in my twenties rather than my teens, sadly), and my mom has been coming here for years to get the foot detox. She swears by it, but it’s not my thing. I come in for regular facials and waxings, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Firstly, I love getting a bikini wax here because I feel no pain with the hard wax. Both Angela and Crystal are incredibly thorough and make sure that they leave no strays, take care of ingrowns, and clean up all of the stray wax. Secondly, I have to say that my skin is looking better than ever thanks to these ladies. I have been struggling of late with some pretty gnarly acne, and Crystal especially has been doing a great job to keep everything clean and under control. I have a pretty strict natural skin routine because I try to avoid synthetic products and parabens/​silicones/​etc, and not only does Crystal work within my restrictions with products I feel comfortable with, they were honest when I asked about a new product line that ended up having a lot of synthetics in it. They didn’t push it on me, instead they offered alternatives out of the Dr. Grandel natural line. And the services are affordable and they have a frequent shopper program for products. Love OC Skin!

Love the spa, love the smell and ambience as soon as you walk in, especially love the owner Angela Imperato, who makes you feel like the celebs that frequent her salon! Everyone’s a star at OC Skin Secrets.
I love the Dr. Grandel product line and am especially obsessed with her Shelley Kyle products. If I’m in LA that’s always on my stop list!

As an esthetician myself I am extremely picky about who I let touch my face. I found Angela based off the fact that she carries and uses in her services the Dr. Grandel products. I have been a client since 2003 and refer everyone I know. Not only is she knowledgable but she cares as well. I have tried all of the different facial treatments and I find that she can take my skin to the next level. Her prices are more than reasonable and the ambiance is amazing. I will be a client for as long as she’s around.

I enjoyed my OC Skin Secrets experience. I got a facial and some bonus treatments for free! The place is very clean and you feel as though you are the only person that matters.
The only down side. I may be old fashioned but I come from a generation where you do not «Tip» the owner. Upon my checkout, I felt pressure to do just that. I feel only staff should receive a tip.

To the ladies who are discounting my review, Unilocal is for real people and real reviews. I was a client not a rival salon owner as stated below. This is what happened to ME. We are all entitled to our opinions. I stand by what happened to me and I have the Dr’s report to show it as well as the receipt from that day at OC. I was extremely sick with in an hour of the foot detox. My Dr told me that it was too much detox too fast and can result in many side effects which I was never warned about by Angela or the receptionist. It’s not for everyone and the receptionist should not push buying a package of 10 as you’re standing there about to throw up.

OC, is like a home away from home. I am always relaxed and serene when I leave this place. The music is soothing, the soft sound of water flowing, and a delicate scent in the air. A nice blend of elements to lift me up and away from the stresses of a hectic world. Everybody is friendly and loving that works in this unique spa. I have indulged in many treatments. Waxing, facials, eyelash extentions– you name it. This place houses the most tender hearts and healing hands. I trust that my skin is being taken care of by experienced and devoted technicians. I have sent many people, all whom have appreciated the same joys as myself. Toluca Lake, is a unique town with many hidden wonders. OC Skin Secrets is one of them to be treasured. I was alerted that a nasty remark was made about my special place and that is why I am taking the time to state the truth. This individual’s statement about getting sick is preposterous!
