History

Established in 2015.

eBee’s started with a job search. The founder, Ambrianna Freeze, had been hunting for jobs for weeks and weeks. She had landed a short-term position with a pre-school, which was great but not a long term plan for success. After taking a few tutoring jobs on Care.com, she started looking for a position with a tutoring company in her area. What she found made her very, very upset.

After some ill-fated interviews, she realized that the few tutoring companies in her area were either focused on money or – well, money. There were so many contracts and conditions they were overwhelming even for her. She couldn’t imagine what it was like for parents who just needed a tutor for their child! And so eBee’s was born. Simple, straight-forward, top quality tutoring at prices that don’t change depending on the weather.

At eBee’s, we value time and relationships over contracts and commitments; we’re just really good tutors.

Business Owner

As any working professional knows, job hunting is not fun. I spent weeks and weeks searching for a position — entry level, too — anywhere and wound up nowhere. I finally decided to start tutoring. My first step was to look for a tutoring company to join; that made sense, right? Everywhere I interviewed just overwhelmed me from the time I looked at their website! There were so many contracts and fees and crazy attendance requirements; I finally had enough. And so eBee’s was born. Simple and pure. We’re not a charity; we do charge for our services, but we’re fair and do our best to accommodate families. Our employees are not contract workers; they are actual employees, and get the benefits as such. Our families don’t sign their lives away to get help for their children; we take things one step at a time. eBee’s is simple — in concept, anyway — and I plan to keep that simplicity for as long as I possibly can.
