History

Established in 2012.

Texan Tan was born in January of 2012 after many months of research. You can say I did my ‘homework’ before opening my business. My mission at Texan Tan is to provide safe and healthy alternativse to year-​round tanning. When you are tan you not only look better, you feel better! We strive to make a personal connection with all our clients so they enjoy the themselves, want to come back and refer thier friends. Word of mouth is the ultimate reward to knowing you are doing the right thing. When I had a hard time finding someone to tan me for a trip last year, I knew I it was the right time to follow my heart and open a business. Taking a leap of Faith, I did it! All thanks be to my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, without him none of this would be possible.

Owner and operator of Texan Tan Mobile Spray Tanning. I also work full-​time at Greystar Real Estate Partners, have a 12 year old daugher that plays select softball and the clarinet, married to my best friend John and we have a wonderful Shiba Inu dog named Sam. You can say I have my hand full, but you can also say I am truly blessed. I thank my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ for giving me the strength to do all of this. Launching Texan Tan has been a life long dream of mine and I’m only getting started. Thank you to everyone who has supported me on this venture of a lifetime… I truly appreciate all of you! Today I had my 1st ever spray tan and I am so HAPPY with the results!!! Shannon w/​Texan Tan is so awesome! I felt so comfortable and the process was so easy! I wish I’d have found her sooner! I am going to the beach for the first time in years and was anxious to wear a bathing suit this weekend. I am actually looking forward to going now! My skin is naturally fair but now it has a natural looking beautiful tan that has given me the extra confidence I needed! It does not cost much, makes you feel great, and is not harmful to your skin! I will be a repeat customer for sure!

Shannon was great! I love that she consulted with me on what I wanted before she sprayed me. Most airbrush tanners in the past have only given me a little glow because I am so fair skinned– but Shannon had me looking summer ready. Going back tonight to get sprayed before vegas!!! Definitely my new go to– won’t be tanning anywhere else.

This was my first time spray tanning so I was little nervous. It is little nerve racking stripping down to barely nothing in front of someone, but she made me feel great and I never felt self conscience of my less than perfect body. I went to Shannon’s house and her house was very clean with a bedroom set up just for spray tanning. I told her I just wanted a very light color so I could start my cruise off with some color. She did a great job and it looks really natural. She takes credit card, check or cash. I will be back the next time I have a big event.
