Larian Motel

We stayed at The Larion about a week ago.
One of the cleanest hotels (at any price) that we’ve ever stayed in. The staff from manager to cleaning staff was the best. Very friendly and helpful.
Our door lock had a problem, the manager and staff went out of there way to make it right immediately. Even gave us a bonus «gift» to have drinks/​snacks in downtown Tombstone.
I am still amazed at how large the rooms was and how CLEAN it was.
One of the best motel/​hotel experiences we’ve ever had.
We would highly recommend staying there to anyone who asks.

Just stayed there last night in the Johnny Ringo room #2 and the room was neat and clean no problems also Gordon the office manager was very nice and accommodating to us. There was coffee in the room and the toiletries were organic and pleasant!

We had their small, separate «cabin» room, which has it’s own driveway and enclosed porch. a cute room, if not a little small and worn.
The owners are VERY friendly, and really seem to love meeting new people as their customers.
The standard rooms are a good size, bigger than the cabin room.
I’ll be back.

Awesome accommodations, the hospitality was top notch. They made us feel very welcome here and gave us quite the history lesson too. We thoroughly appreciated that as we were trying to absorb as much about this historic location as possible in the few days we were here!
Alvin was very clean, and very spacious. We even had a local spirit come and stay with us through the evenings hahaha! The spirit was quite nice, please let me state that!
The price is very reasonable for the accommodations provided, I highly recommend this motel.

The room was very large with 2 double beds, a couch, a desk, tv and a mini fridge. Cute western décor. Not too hokey. The lady working the front desk (owner I think) was EXTREMELY FRIENDLY. She asked us a few questions to see what we were interested in and made a few recommendations. She even gave us the number of someone to call in town as we were there for some paranormal investigating along with the regular tourist stuff. It was a short walk to all the action but we still drove. (lazy) Will stay here again.

Love the Larian! This is our second stay at the Larian and honestly we will always stay here when we come to Tombstone!
Due to a cancelation we were beyond lucky to get a room here 2 days before arrival for a Saturday night!
The property is maintained nicely, the rooms are charming, lots of character and super clean! The staff that we met were very friendly and helpful, you can tell they take pride in the Larian!
Since our last visit the bathrooms have been remodeled and they layout a nice assortment of soaps etc… including a facial wipe to remove makeup. (Which is much appreciated after a night out)
Speaking of which… the Larian is located right around the corner from the Crystal Palace, so it’s within walking distance to all of the bars.
We came to Tombstone for a family celebration and everyone was so jealous of our room– apparently the other hotels/​motels are not something to be desired, my family couldn’t wait to check out of their rooms.
My husband and I… well we are enjoying our room up until the 11:00 am check out time!

Fresh clean rooms with comfortable beds. The owner Gordon was very accommodating and friendly providing a wealth of info on Tombstone sights and eateries. The location cannot be beat as the hotel is only a 5 minute walk to Allen St where the majority of saloons and eateries are located. Good free wifi. Definitely stay here for couples or family.

Neat old-​time motel. Room and bathroom clean. Front office staff very friendly and helpful. Housekeepers very friendly too. Some of the other guests were a little noisy. Excellent location to walk to all of Tombstone attractions. We might try elsewhere simply due to the other clientele.

Came out to tombstone with my best friend to fullfill her bucket list and Linda was beyond amazing. I will forever be greatfull to her and Gordon for helping make Mel’s trip truely great.

I thoroughly enjoyed this motel. It is perfectly located in walking distance from all the attractions and establishments-​right across from the OK Corral. The gentleman running it was very pleasant and informative– even though we arrived right before 10 pm (the closing time of the office). He have us a map, marking all the must see places in town and recommended a breakfast Place for us. The room was very nice and had plenty of space. Everything was very clean and homey. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to my friends and I will be staying here again on any future Tombstone stays!

Motels can be pretty scary, but luckily this is not one of them. There are not many places to stay within the City of Tombstone and there are certainly not any luxury hotels (Remember you are in an old western town).
We rented three rooms for our group, two of them were the regular rooms and one was the bungalow. The bungalow which I stayed in with my friend was pretty neat, it had an attached patio which was screened in, had outdoor seating, and a sealing fan. It was certainly perfect for bloody Mary’s in the morning. Our room was very clean, and the bathrooms in all the our rooms seem to have been newly renovated.
We had a very pleasant stay here and the staff was great and very accommodating. My friend who comes to Tombstone often and has stayed at other motels in the area said that this is the best one in town.
Five Stars for this being the best motel in the area.

This Motel was awesome, very clean and right across the street from Allen St (original OK CORRAL street) Would definitely try to make it back again. Staff was excellent, when they said it was booked, we were able to secure the little honeymoon room off to itself with a patio and lock door and it was our honeymoon to begin with. Gordon was very accomodating.

By the recommendation of a friend that lives locally there in Tombstone, I had work in Sierra Vista (16 miles away) for a few days and since I love the Tombstone area I decided to stay there. The Larian is certainly a family owned very small and quaint motel and to get directly to the point, I’d certainly without question recommend and stay there again. Small office, ring the bell to check in, NO LINES no waiting. I arrived early and my room was not ready, they checked me in anyway, gave me my keys and allowed me to go into the room and drop off my bags and put anything in the refridge I wanted while I visted historic Tombstone.
I was in «Big Nose Kates» room, Room 11. VERY CLEAN, bed was a king and very comfortable, mini fridge and mircowave. Bathroom was small but adaquate, well stocked enough for a single or a couple, the bath tub was dated but CLEAN and the water pressure in the shower was very good!
Free Wifi worked well on my Dell laptop but for some reason I couldn’t connect or even see it on my iPad. At check in they told me that might be an issue and it was. So if you’re traveling and need your internet «fix» and you’re only running on a tablet, this may be a problem for you.
Very basic cable on a 32 inch flat screen. Cable reception was spotty, not the best in the world but I didn’t stay here to watch TV so it wasn’t a big concern for me but it could be for others.
Coffee pot in the room, I don’t drink coffee but it was there if you needed it.
Standard 80’s push button phone, free local calls, calling card needed for LD but who the hell uses a hotel phone anymore anyway!
I stayed 2 nights, room service came in after night 1, did a nice job replacing towels, making up the bed etc. as you would expect, but forgot to remove the trash. Fortunely I didn’t have any leftovers in there that would begin to smell. But this did bother me just a bit.
All-​in-​all I rated this a 4 due to the trash not removed, the lack on internet on a tablet (Which may be bothersome to people) and the spotty cable, again might be bothersome to people. For me personally it was a 5. I rate based on expections, if your expecting the Ritz Carlton do not stay here, for that matter you better not stay anywhere other than the Ritz! If your expecations are a clean comfortable room in historic Tombstone, a no frills no ups no extras, no breakfast, no pool but friendly place, this is the place to be! My work brings me to Sierra Vista a number of times a year, there are nicer places in Sierra Vista with the pools and the breakfas etc. but I will certainly come here instead!!!

After reading all of the positive reviews I made reservations. I was not disappointed! The rooms are spacious and very clean. The bed was comfortable and the shower had a great water pressure. The bathrooms are very small but my husband and I managed. The owner was very nice and even recommended places to eat and sight see. They’re also dog friendly. Make sure you clean up after your dog though. I noticed some guests hadn’t.
Highly recommended!

Owner was wonderful, she went the extra mile & turned the heater on before we got there since we were arriving late. Also checked the weather for our travels when leaving. The room was clean. Hotel is close to everything.

We wanted to stay somewhere with more local history than the change hotels. We loved it! It has so much character, it is so clean, the beds were comfy, and the service was excellent. I highly recommend it.

We have stayed at the Larian Motel in Tombstone on several occasions. The owner, Gordon, is very helpful and goes the extra mile to accomodate his guests. The rates are reasonable, the rooms are very clean and spacious, the beds extremely comfortable, and the location can’t be beat. You are only one short block from Allen Street and all the major attractions. I have stayed at other motels in town (because the Larian was full), but for my money, the Larian is the BEST motel in Tombstone.

We first checked reviews for motels and hotels in Tombstone and all fingers pointed here. Don’t let the outside fool you. We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are spacious, very clean and comfortable. Loved the themed rooms, makes it feel authentic.
Slept like babies and rose early to tour the town. We walked across the street and over a block and there we were, walking down the main street of attractions. Easy access was convenient and made the trip even more perfect.

Stayed here based on advice from a friend. It’s within stumbling distance of the main street /​saloons and has a character that the Best Westerns on the edge of town can’t match.
Recently refurbished, clean room, minimal check-​in. The room has a Mwave, coffee machine, fridge, free wifi and decent water pressure and heat from the shower. parking within a few feet if your door, in most cases and cost around $ 75
That’s all I really need in a motel. I’ll definitely be using this place again next time I’m back in town.
