Not the best of tours in tombstone. Me and my girl were walking down the street when this guy approached us telling about his tours. I asked was this the Old Tombstone Tours(a competitor) and he conveniently ignored me and changed the subject by saying he had the only real story about the gunfight at ok corral. I took the tour anyway, against my intuition. Instead of horses I get old mules. This tour was boring. The tour guide was talking too fast and at times hard to understand.

It was great to ride the carriage with the entire family, quickest way to see everything in Tombstone!

The tiny, historic stagecoach really helps set the scene. Imagining traveling across the desert, crammed in with sweaty, stinky travelers and danger around every corner was really brought home with this tour. The tour guide was knowledgeable, and really brought a lot of personality. I wish we had done this first, it’s a great way to see the town and get an overview of the town. After seeing the other«stagecoach» tours, I am really glad we chose this one. They seemed to be the most knowledgeable, the most authentic, and the most fun. Kids will love the chance to sit and ride shotgun.

There are several stagecoach tours in Tombstone and everyone will try to get you to ride theirs. But this is apparently the only authentic stagecoach still in operation. The others, we’re told, are replicas. There is nothing wrong with replicas but there’s something cool about riding in a stagecoach that people actually used in the days of the old west. I don’t spend a lot of time riding in stagecoaches so for me it was important to have an authentic experience. It was rough and dirty and I loved it! The tour guide showed us things around town that we missed on our walks. Everyone was friendly and the price was reasonable. I strongly recommend this tour! Don’t forget to tip your driver.

A MUST. Original stagecoach from the era. Green peeling paint on an authentic wooden stagecoach. Seats 4. Only $ 10 for 25 minutes. Leaves from the entrance to the O.K. Corral. Gave you the experience of what it was really like back in the day. Loved it. I sat shotgun and the view was incredible. Had so much fun and found it to be a great way to start off my day in Tombstone. Helped me to know what and where I’d want to visit later. The driver gave the history of the town and sounded like a real cowboy.

Mules pull the authentic stagecoach, with peeling paint and NO shocks. The slow ride thru town is narrated by the driver and offers plenty of history for an intro into who lived in this historic old west town. Other tours are offered by horse-drawn covered wagons or the trolley but this is as close as you will get to the REAL feel of what travel was like«back in the day». $ 10 per person.
