Mangia Brick Oven Pizza

Delicious pizza and salads! Lunch specials are very good and affordable. Buffalo chicken salad is my favorite.

I’ve ordered from Mangia a few times. The pizza was good! The only problem that I had is the delivery took a long time and the pizza was cold. When I called to complain they were very attentive in sending a new hot pizza. Things happen, when you have a business that provides great customer service they leave a lasting impression on you.

If it was possible to give less than a star, I would have. I’ve ordered from mangia on multiple occasions and I’ve eaten at the restaurant a few times as well. The food was always decent but the service… The service is just awful. The owner seems like a decent guy but all the other morons seem way too disinterested in their jobs. I get it, you work at a pizza place. It’s boring and it sucks… So quit. Otherwise, do your job! My most recent, and most likely last, order from mangia was a complete sh*t show. I’ve ordered the same thing countless times before with no issue. First of all, it took nearly an hour for delivery. We called to see where our food was and we were met with questions and accusations that we didn’t call there nor did we make the requests we had asked for. They offered to deliver a replacement. That replacement took over an hour as well. The pie was cold. Needless to say, I won’t be calling mangia anytime soon… Read your reviews buddy, they all say the same thing! Your service sucks balls.

My husband and I order from Mangia about once a week. Considering it’s a local pizzeria, we are always happy with our food. We are pretty picky eaters and hardly ever dine in Toms River. Mangia’s food is always fresh and they deliver to our town, Pine Beach, which is super convenient. We love the chicken caesar salads and the eggplant dishes.

Yummy! We were searching for a place in Toms River and decided on Mangia. What delicious food! The chicken Parmesan is top notch, they give you delicious focaccia bread w your meal. My daughter had pesto pasta and loved it. As an Italian American, I know good sauce/​gravy and their sauce is tomatoey and not too over seasoned or heavy. I had the chicken Parmesan sandwich which was great. my husband had the chicken Parmesan dinner which he also liked. My other daughter has lasagne –it was very cheesy (in a good way). Side salads are only $ 1.00! We did not have any pizza, but it looked delicious. Mangia seemed to have a lot of locals and regular customers dining and ordering take-​out. A sure sign of a good restaurant. I gave it 4 stars because it took a little while for a server to come to our table, but the food was delivered in a timely manner. Give it a try. this little place will delight you!

SHAME SHAME!!! .Vey bad service. I went by myself and sat down, did not get seated like the rest of the others that were there. The waitress didn’t even acknowledge that I was there. I had to go up to the counter and order the food. Then I wanted a drink and had to get up again to go get it. Everyone else that was there was getting serve except me. Not once did they say a word to me. I went to pay at the «counter», and spoke to the manager; the manager didn’t really care and was defending the employees. She also said that they don’t serve people, but I looked around and everyone else was getting serve. Shame on this place. The manager is very rude and shouldn’t be managing… this happened 10-​18-​2015 at 6pm…

You’ll see the variety of delicious pizzas just as you walk in. Great specials, yummy sauce. Love the soups. My favorite is the ½ and ½ panini and soup or salad. The chicken cutlet panini with roasted peppers and fresh mozzarella is so good!

I have been ordering from this restaurant since it opened. I have eaten their food sit down, take out, and mostly delivery. I honestly love the food as compared to a lot of the other places in the area. However, I have a huge gripe with this place. The service is HORRIBLE. Reading other reviews about how there is only one fleeting waitress when dining is the exact experience I have had every time I decide to eat there. As far as take out goes I have never seen a place take so long to deliver a few slices of pizza or a sandwich. I have waited as long as an hour and 45 minutes for a few slices. Never less than 45 minutes mostly in between. I have given them chance after chance to impress me with some faster service only because I enjoy their food. They have not impressed me yet. I have even gone as far as to call them about it and speak to a manager before with no compensation for my wait or continued business besides «we got busy». I understand having a rush of people come into your restaurant even when you didn’t expect it. If that is the case after the amount of time you have been open then maybe it is time to hire more delivery drivers and staff. Obviously you don’t have enough since every bad review you have is because of the snotty, slow, sad service you are showing your customers. I hope you make a change soon because I would hate to stop eating your food but I am not going to order from you anymore if you cant figure out how to deliver 3 slices of pizza to someone who is literally less than 5 minutes away from you in under an hour.

Walked in to order 2 pizzas to takeout. Pizza was ready in 10 minutes as estimated. Both the grandmom’s margherita with extra sauce and plain pizza were delicious! The grandmom’s margherita has fresh mozzarella. Kids enjoyed the plain pizza as the sauce was not too spicy.

Just went to to lunch today at Mangia! I enjoyed a fried chicken cutlet panini sandwich with mozzarella cheese roasted peppers and balsamic glaze. It was huge and it came with fries. Delicious! Priced well and the young lady who served us was pleasant and attentive.

I work next door at the RadioShack, and I frequently get pizza from here, and occasionally get an entrée to enjoy with my girlfriend. Every time I am in there the employees are always friendly, and the food is always delicious. Today I decided to try out their cheeses teak and it was the best cheeses teak I have ever had the pleasure to enjoy. I asked for extra BBQ sauce on it, and instead of just pouring some on top, it was actually cooked with the meat. I will defiantly be returning for their pizza, pasta entrees, or cheesesteaks.

This place is amazing! Each time I’ve come in, the food is exceptional. The lunch special is a pretty good deal, you get a pretty fair amount for your money. Even the dinner special is a good deal. Also, I’ve never had a rude employee, so that’s always good.
I recommend it to everyone!

If I was able to give this place 0 stars I would, just
based on the complete lack of service given by the owner! The owner is young and nasty and she needs to take a class in customer service or she won’t have that business very long! Don’t think we will be going back there!!!

I LOVE this place! Found it through a friend and I go back there a couple of times a week on my way home. Always great service from what I’ve seen and the food is AWESOME!

I gave them one last chance, and of course that was a bad idea. How hard is it make a plain pie well done. When I called to tell them about the pizza I received he said he would send out a new one to replace the raw one I received. The second pie was well done however contained a FINGER NAIL clipping. Thanks a lot

The menu is awesome. Always great service and the pizza is consistently great. The Veal Milanese is my personal favorite. This is the place to go in Toms River and I make a point to stop by whenever I am in the area.

We order from here a lot and usually don’t have any issues. This time we went the service was terrible. I have a gluten allergy and when my mom went to pick up our pizzas she wanted to confirm that it was gluten free and was given a major attitude for asking a «stupid question». We also asked for our pizzas to be cooked well done and instead they were underdone. Probably wont be going here for a while!!! If you want bad sevice and an attitude this the place to be!

Service issues again! Went in during a really busy time this time, to see whether there would be any difference in my late experience. The single waitress was serving the Entire Room!!! People who came in after us were served and eating before we were served. No lie. I got hold of the fleeting waitress and asked for the check. We put our card in the folder, and got it back but the waitress disappeared once again. I had my lunch partner pocket her card, left a measly tip, and left the receipt on a table where the server had actually dropped it for us.
* I had to go look for the waitress to ask for cheese.
* no refill on our coffee
* people were served before us
* no one met us at the door
* food was so good, though, it’s a shame
I will not be coming back. I travel a distance to visit my family in that town, and can’t wait at a table for food that should be served more promptly. Yes, I have a short fuse and yes, I don’t buy that they’re in training stuff. Hire people who know the job and hire more than one during busy times. Any other advice, I charge.

I didn’t order extra cheese And my
Coupon was a different coupon. You must have me confused with another
Customer. However my family and a few friends gave Magia the benefit of a doubt on several occasions inside the restaurant and delivery and still service wasn’t great or the food. I will not judge a place without giving chances and I’ve had just about enough after the service with the manager, hostess, and establishment. Therefore thanks but NO THANKS!!!

The food was good. However if you eat in the dining area expect a long wait for your food. Recommend you order your food (spec pizza) from the order line. Cheesesteaks were excellent. Bread is fresh and made daily.
The Wait Staff are slow. I had to go up to the register 3 times to either see where my food was at or check where my bread was. I was one of two people eating in the dining area.
I don’t think I will be returning.
