History
Established in 1999.
Above & Beyond Event Planners, LLC was founded by Mattie Stevenson as a home-based business with two friends. They later moved to their first location on 886 Jefferson Avenue in Buffalo and later moved to their current location.
In 2010, the business underwent restructuring and changed it’s name to Above & Beyond Marketing and Event Management, LLC as it speaks to other services it provides to their clientele. They are expanding their business to Ohio.

Business Owner
Mattie Stevenson (known as the best kept secret amongst her corporate clients) has become one of the most sought after event producers and marketing gurus throughout the Western New York area. With over 19 years experience in event planning and 10 years experience in marketing, she’s always raising the bar as she’s marveled at by guests and highly respected among her event world peers for her creativity and incredible work ethic.
Mattie has been featured in numerous publications from the Buffalo News, Chautauqua Star, the Challenger Newspaper, Bee Newspaper, Business First Rising Star to Buffalo Magazine, the Catering Guide (a supplemental guide of Business First) and most recently mentioned in the September 2013 issue of Buffalo Brides Magazine. She was also featured on TV-WGRZ Daybreak for her signature event «Our Sunday’s Best».
In March 2012, Mattie was honored as The Emerging HR Professional award nominee by Buffalo Niagara Human Resource Association.
