Specialties
Quest Credit Union is a full-service, not-for-profit, financial cooperative specializing in accounts, savings and loan options for persons living, working or worshipping within many eastern Kansas communities.
As a member, you own a share of the credit union and have a vote in the appointment of our volunteer Board of Directors. Unlike a bank, Quest’s dividends are paid back to the members in the form of lower loan rates and higher dividend rates on deposit accounts.
Quest offers the valuable products and services that our members want, including rewards checking, Visa Credit Cards and Debit Cards, and the innovative Quest Mobile App.
Not-for-profit and devoted to service, Quest is dedicated to improving the financial literacy within our communities and has hosted seminars and events for both adults and students. Take a stand against the «Big Banks» and Move Your Money today. Download our helpful Switch Kit at www. quest-cu.org.
History
Established in 1951.
Quest Credit Union was formed on May 24, 2010, when Credit Unions United and Credit Union 1 of Kansas consolidated operations. In 1951 Rubber Workers Local 307 Federal Credit Union was established, serving mainly Goodyear workers. Credit Union 1 of Kansas’ history comes from two main CUs — Forbes Federal Credit Union and Kansas Credit Union, initially named the Kansas Highway Credit Union. These served Air Force personnel, State and highway workers. When consolidated, Quest Credit Union became the largest credit union in Topeka and the fifth largest in Kansas.
