History

Established in 2015.

Acupuncture works. I constantly find myself in awe each time I witness the profound effect of this medicine to connect, balance and shift a person’s entire being, from their physiology to their emotional and spiritual experience. I have always been drawn to the textures, layers and intersections between spirit and matter within the human body. Anatomy and Physiology was my favorite subject in college because it introduced me to the wonder, potential, and the vibrancy of life. Everything is always in a state of flux and unimaginable possibility. Chinese Medicine really captures the heart of this and creates the opportunity to provide care unique to the individual and treat the root of the problem, rather than just the symptoms.

I studied Classical Chinese Medicine at The National College of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon for four years and graduated with a Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine. I did my internships at The Immune Enhancement Project, Hooper Detox, Old Town Clinic’s CCCRC, OHSU’s Richmond Clinic, and the NCNM clinic. During my time as an intern I treated many patients suffering from conditions ranging from cancer, MS, HIV, Hep C, and addictions to pain, digestive complaints, insomnia, allergies, menopause, fatigue and mental/​emotional challenges. I have treated children from 5 years old to adults in their 80’s. Many of my patients have been sensitive to needles and have experienced incredible results with acupressure, essential oils, massage and tuning forks. The healing journey is a deeply personal experience and having the opportunity to participate in this process is an enormous privilege.
