As the consummate 18|8 client who has gone to woman’s salons for two decades, I was able to relate to the need for men to have an upscale sophisticated place where they feel comfortable getting haircuts, grey blendings and other grooming services; while being able to relax with a cold beer on tap from a local microbrew (such as Absolution or Strand) and watch the game on a big TV. I wanted to build something that didn’t exist before and provide a service that both men and women can truly love and make them feel rejuvenated and refreshed. I want to add value to society in some way aside from just recycling everything possible and rescuing dogs.
