Tony is a man of his word and amazing as well as the staff.
As soon as I took the car in they inspected it and assessed the damages. No more than 2 days they had ordered the parts and everything to fix the car. The insurance lagging it for over two weeks only to say it was a total loss; despite that, Tony and his staff contacted me and guided me through the process (better than the insurance) even if they weren’t actually going to be able to fix the car.
As I can tell it is a pretty busy shop; whether or not they fix your car, they keep their word to help and offer top tier customer service. If I ever actually need my car fixed *knocking on wood* I’d definitely come back to Autobahn.

I never write reviews because I’m lazy. Sometimes, I want to write negative ones, but I’m too lazy for that too. But, I’m making a review exception, for a glowing review. I was looking to fix minor mystery damage to my new car. Let’s start off at the first place I went, the bad place. The bad place will receive a corresponding bad review. I went to the shop, filled out a registration form, waited in the lobby, had my car inspected, waited in the lobby, then the woman who looked at my car came out with a 2 – 3 page estimate with the exorbitant amount of over $ 900. I was almost too lazy to get a second opinion, but thank goodness I did. I was just going to leave the damage as was. But, I knew the quote was BS. Then, I took my care to the good place, Autobahn. The nice guy comes out, glances at the damage, and quotes me $ 220. Before I could ask «Will it look like nothing happened,» he said the magic words «It will look like nothing happened.» I brought my car in and it was fixed within a day or two as promised and it looked like nothing happened. Definitely recommend Autobahn.

I’ve been meaning to write this review for quite some time. I cannot express how amazing Johnny is. I brought my Honda Civic here a couple years back when I crashed it. Johnny is a good, honest man. He took a look at the work I needed done and instead of taking advantage of how much I didn’t know what I was doing, he referred me to his buddy over at Scott Robinson Honda. Some of the paint job I needed done was actually under warranty. You gave up a sale to help me out. I am truly grateful! There aren’t many people running their bushinesses with that type of integrity these days. Salute, good sir!

Don’t buy into the response propaganda. The items were taken prior to being towed from this shop. Wouldn’t expect anyone to admit to their thievery. I just want the public to be well informed!

Liars. They don’t honor their own word. If you are in agreement verbally with this shop, for instance giving you a $ 300 discount, you’d better write it down somewhere and get it signed. Otherwise, they will be saying «Nope. Who told you that?» I’ve working in personal injury law field for a decade now, I might not know about repairing cars, but I do know claim process and I know body shops giving discounts all the time. I could’ve went elsewhere, but I saw this place got good reviews on Unilocal and I believed their word when they said they would knock off $ 300. They knew that we were fixing the car through a third party’s insurance and they knew there’s no deductible and yet they agreed to take $ 300 off. Later when are went to pick ip the car, suddenly you are saying you can’t give that discount because it’s deductible we are talking about? If anyone needs a car get fixed and get discounts, I might know a couple of other places where they keep their promises and this shop is definitely not one of them.

My TBSS was towed here for state farm insurance to look at, after some lady rear ended me at a stop light. Johnny helped me the whole time, he was very friendly, honest, and prompt. They called me more than the insurance company to give me updates on what was happening with my truck. I was very happy with their services, when I purchase a new truck I will make sure to go to them with any repairs I need or if I have any questions.

FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE!
Being in a car accident is unfortunate and super inconvenient, especially when its tge other driver thats at fault. I recently had my Honda Accord in for a collision repair at Autobahn Collision Center and Johnny was SUPERB! He was cordial, helpful and very knowledgeable on the whole repair process, including how to work with the insurance company and car rental. Johnny gave me advise and explained to me the process. Johnny gave me updates on the whole repair process and making sure I understood everything. He made this «not so convenient» time actually a pleasant situation. The work was excellent. My car looks amazing and brand new. I dont notice any trace of the accident. Even the paint job was spot on, the attention to details was amazing. Johnny even went the the extra mile when my insurance refused to pay for a replacement bumper. The insurance company just wanted for Johnny to make the necessary repair. Johnny went ahead and replaced the bumper at no cost to me. Johnny looked out to me as a customer with the best interest and that is to fix my car without hassle free, and fully satisfied. That is what I call Integrity, doing what is right even though it may not be the best for them. When a company has people who operate like that, I feel that I can trust them more.
I highly recommend Autobahn Collision Center if you are unfortunate enough to have an accident that you come here, and ask for Johnny. Thanks Johnny and to the Autobahn Collision Center crew.

After my accident this past August my 2013 Chevy Cruze was taken to Johnny and his staff, my car was in pretty bad shape and I was very stressed about the possibility of my car being totaled. (seeing last year I was in a car accident when a lady ran a stop sign and totaled my old car so having been in another one it had me very emotional) From the very beginning Johnny was very professional and very thorough about everything that came up with damages found and the work needed to fix them. They gave me phone calls frequently enough to keep me updated on everything they were doing which shows a lot of professionalism in a company and that they take pride in what they do. I am so horrible about taking pictures of anything other than my kids but I really wish I would have taken before and after pictures just to show what an amazing job they’ve done. I just picked my car up yesterday, not only did it look like a brand new car but it drove better than it did prior to my accident. Johnny and his staff really go above and beyond and they take time to make sure every little detail is perfect. I highly recommend them

I took my crashed car when my daughter was in an accident and met Johnny, he was so cool and took the time to explain things to me; even though I didn’t use his services because AAA totalled my car, Johnny demonstrated excellent customer service and I feel very comfortable knowing that I can come to him if I ever need my cars fixed. Unbelievable service. Got rear ended a couple weeks back and these guys explained the whole process, kept me up to date on developments, and patient with my many questions regarding insurance. Took my car here after an accident. Tony took pictures of my car and said he’d email them to my insurance as that was a necessary step before fixing my car. There was a misunderstanding with my insurance but once it was squared away tony called me to let me now he could start working on my car. Can’t wait to see what the finished product looks like.

To start, STAY AWAY from this place. At the beginning of the April I brought my son’s car which was in an Auto accident to this Auto body shop. Apparently he has the local Tow Truck drivers on his payroll and when you are in an accident and desperate for help, the driver of the tow trucks trick you that they know of a great Auto Body Shop and they convince you that it is to your advantage to take your car there. He took 85 days to fix my son’s car. In addition, on the 85th day when I went to get the car, as he claimed the car was ready to pick-​up, the car was not ready and he had smeared the entire bottom of the car with a gooey tar in a sloppy way and a major major dent of the frame of the passenger door which he acted surprised and claimed he had inspected the car from bottom to top and had not seen that BIG dent.
Needless to say that he kept the car for additional 5 days to fix this goof. Also, when I asked for receipt and invoices of the NEW parts that he used on my son’s car, he could not provide. Basically we had to take his word for it that the parts that he used were all factory BRAND SPANKING NEW. Honestly, if you ask me I would say he used parts from Junk yard to fix my son’s car so that he can pocket more money. The last blow was that when we rented the car from Enterprise that was supposed to be paid by the insurance company of the person (an old lady) who hit my son and was determined by her own insurance that she was 100% at fault, due to Autobahn taking over 90 days fixing my son’s car, we ended paying almost $ 150 out of pocket for the rent a car. In addition, Johnnie FLAT-​OUT denied the fact that it was his shop that caused the extra 5 days of delays due to the dent by the door frame of the passenger. He sure is a con artist.
Bottom line you will be extremely stressed and dissatisfied when you deal with this Auto Body, dragging his feet so that he can pack-​up the expenses for the insurance company. After 3 months of waiting, they still didn’t do a good job, kept me on hold for a long time any time I called and at the end, the rent-​a-​car contract cost me huge money out of my pocket.

If you look through the photos section (2nd page) you will find my beloved Honda S2000. I don’t let anyone touch my car, but I’ve done business with Tony before, who runs Autobahn Collision Center on Hawthorne. Having great experience from the past, I knew I could fully trust Autobahn.
I brought my car in to install the after market bumpers/​fenders/​rear over fenders, front lip, and canards. Since they were replica parts from Extreme Dimensions, the fitment was rather horrible — horrible to the point where I almost returned them (Note: don’t ever buy from Extreme Dimensions). Johnny was first hesitant to work on my car, knowing how difficult it was put the car together after doing the test fitment, but took me in anyway. It took him about 2 months to install and paint everything, but the job was done flawless. The quality of the fitment and paint is unbelievable, the parts look as if they are authentic! Look at the pictures!!!
During those 2 months, Johnny would call me once a week to give me an update on my car and had me stop by to see the progress. He would walk me through what was done this week and what will be accomplished next week and so forth. All in all, I was extremely satisfied with not just the outcome of my car, but with customer service. Don’t hesitate to bring in your after market parts, go to Johnny instead of having them installed at a performance shop with an expensive rate!

In the beginning of January my 2011 Audi A4 was rear-​ended on the freeway. These guys did an amazing job of repairing the extensive damage to the rear underneath of my car. Beyond happy with my experience with Autobahn. Johnny helped with my rental and explained each step of the repair process. After I got my car back, I took it to the dealership for some issues that were there before the accident and I called Johnny to see what needed to be done on the car and if their diagnosis was accurate. He made a few phone calls and got me the information I needed.

Went here because George and Joey’s Towing (right next door) accidentally scraped my front fender.
They called up Johnny and set up an appointment. After a day, my car was ready to go and looking like nothing ever happened to it. It was, as Johnny described it, «flawless».
He was prompt in calling me and made sure that everything was not just okay, but perfect.
Now, I didn’t pay for anything and insurance wasn’t involved. Autobahn went above and beyond for a favor; I can’t wait to see how they’d actually take care of a paying customer (but hopefully not too soon since this is an auto body repair shop).
They accept all kinds of insurance and specialize in expensive cars. Check this place out, you’ll be driving away with a smile, thinking, «Damn, that was a great handshake.»
