Appears to be out of business, only 7 pm and the place is closed. Too bad, the burritos were really good.

Ordered the brisket plate, waited 20 minutes for it. I was hoping for the best but wound up disappointed it had very little meat which appeared to have ketchup on it. Basically tasted like meat loaf I ended up putting sweet baby rays on it and it was edible. Also ordered a side of the BBQ beans and they were way too sweet! Bottom line is there’s too much good BBQ around to wait that LNG and pay that much. I will never go here again!

Small little place. Food is good. A quick stop place where you can endure in bbq and tacos and burgers all in one. So overall a good. A must try for a quick bite.

I ordered the pulled Pork sandwich and was not too pleased… I found out the hard way that there was a bone as I took the second bite… ouch. I won’t come here again. The BBQ beans tasted watered down.

Words cannot express how disappointed we were in last night’s meal. My mom has been raving about this place for a while now and we finally tried it out. First of all, the sauce is basically a darker ketchup. My chicken was terribly dry and my husband’s brisket was the same consistency as ground beef. Super bland. The Mac n cheese was rubbery and the beans were bland. The one star for this place is due to the customer service. It sucks that they are so nice and friendly but they make terrible food. The kid at the window asked if we wanted to have the food brought to our car because it was kinda cold out and I thought that was a really nice extra step. We so wanted to come back and try the Mexican food but I feel we overpaid on this meal to be so disappointed. I don’t want to give them any more of my money. I honestly would not have finished my food last night if I wasn’t starving and hadn’t paid $ 18.

I knew I shouldn’t have tried it but who wouldn’t have the temptations of trying southern bbq! Their pulled pork sandwich was just bland. Saw the lady put the meat into the microwave to heat it up. I immediately knew it would be horrible… However their crunchy taco was good. Now isn’t that sad? A place that’s supposed to specialize in southern food misses the mark and instead hits it off with mexican food.

Pulled pork sandwich was great — w/coleshaw and bbq sauce. Didn’t ask if they have a hotter sauce — will check into that next time. Prices are good too! I’ll be back!

Bring back wienerschnitzel!!! That place was there my whole life and was always the best and then this babes southern BBQ had to take over. I boycott this place and want my chili cheese dogs and chili cheese fries back!

I was on my way to try Rascals teriyaki down the street. It was closed for the holidays and had to be back at work soon so I decided to try out Babe’s. Flavor was there, but the size wasn’t. I paid $ 9.00 for a Memphis burger, 4 onion rings(was expecting more out of an order of onion rings) and a drink. The burger could have had more BBQ sauce. More cole slaw. Charge me a couple more bucks but give me a decent sized meal!

Holy mother of god! The five buck burritos are huge! If your not in the mood for bbq, they have an excellent Mexican food menu, it’s super cheap too! Try it you’ll like it!

Ok, so this place is fairly good. I may be biased, because a good portion of my family hails from the Carolinas. It wasn’t THE best, but if you need a fix, by all means. I ordered the pulled pork, macaroni and cheese, and a baked potato. The pulled pork was my biggest issue simply because it need more BBQ sauce, but heck, it had coleslaw on it! That’s pretty awesome! I missed that so much. Macaroni and cheese was yummy! It tastes homemade. Please order it if you go! Of course, the baked potato was fine. I just wish they would have not put my butter and sour cream in the box with my steaming hot potato.

Thought this place would have a little more«soul». I was very disappointed on the quality of meat they had. The meat was under cooked, not enough BBQ inside the meat, for being a BBQ place, the pork or bbq pulled chicken was NOTAWARD winning. I got the pulled pork backed potato and the lack of meat and BBQ sauce is what turned me off. I love the idea of the food items, just not enough of deliciousness for me to go back.

Pretty good BBQ. Had the pulled pork sandwich which comes with coleslaw on top. Pork has a nice, light smoky flavor. The sauce poured on top is tasty and not too sweet. Also had the mac and cheese. Good cheesy flavor and was soft and creamy which I prefer(not baked). If outdoor elements bother you, you’ll want to get your order to go. They only have outdoor seating and it can get a little breezy. It’s in an old hotdog A-frame building with a single bathroom in the back.

I like their brisket sandwich with my cole slaw on the side versus on it. Along with my brisket I get a baked potato with sour cream, cheese and bbq sauce and that makes my arteries feel okay dokay. The tri-tip sandwich is also good. Make sure you ask for extra bbq sauce. We have come here once before and they ran outta brisket, so make sure you get it in early in the summer time. Next visit I’m going to try their burritos. their tables are outside with umbrellas.

Great high quality BBQ, for a fast food place. But I guess I shouldn’t say, «fast food» because it’s definitely not that! Just reminds me of a fast food place since the building was an old Der Wienerschnitzel. Tried the brisket sandwich, which was great, they put their tasty coleslaw in the sandwich which gives it great flavor. Mac and cheese was very tasty also. Will definitely return to try some other items on their menu!

Just came to Babe’s for the second time and just had to say how good it is once again! I ordered the pulled chicken sandwich this time. It comes topped with crunchy coleslaw and tangy bbq sauce. Came with a side of baked beans too. So, so good!

Two ideas I’ve always thought would make a killing in the food business are a fast food bbq place and a fast food Italian place. Many years ago I tried someone’s stab at fast food Italian and was disappointed. Even given the accepted fact it was never going to live up to a «real» Italian restaurant, the quality of the food was so below snuff I wouldn’t recommend that place to an ex-girlfriend I didn’t like. Babe’s, however, is not in the same boat. This is BBQ I would recommend to anyone, especially people who were looking for a fast and accessible way to get a bbq lunch. Granted, there’s no drive-thru and the menu is sparse to say the least. Yet everything I’ve tried there has been far above passing. Their pulled pork sandwich? Fantastic. Their hot link sandwich? Stellar. And their tri-tip sandwich? Simply amazing. When your space is a converted Wienerschnitzel’s I’m not looking for a five-star dinner. I’m just looking to get my grub on and have the food impress enough for me to want to come back. Babe’s does that. In spades. Good bbq done quickly – there ain’t nothing wrong with that at all.

Like my tip says, enough of the negativity! This is a great little place for inexpensive BBQ, good portion size(sorry to the gluttons), and I see myself coming back. I had the pulled pork and my husband had the tri tip, and we both had the beans. It was flavorful, not too much sauce, and I really liked the flavor of the sauce. The beans write a tad on the sweet side, but nothing to scorn. I will come back to try the other options. Now I have a place to get decent BBQ without breaking the bank!

Babe’s Southern Grill, BBQ, Burgers and More — with a name like that I anxiously awaited their opening to get a rack of Baby Back Ribs or any kind of ribs or maybe BBQ chicken or a big plate of BBQ Trip Tip with some bake bean and corn on cob, but not only did they did not have any of these, they only had 4BBQ sandwiches on the menu, ok 5 if you count their Memphis burger that has pull pork. Their burger and hot dog selection out number their BBQ by far, it was almost as if BBQ was just an after thought — how fitting that they are located where Der Weinersnitchel used to be. After accepting the fact that I won’t be having ribs for dinner, I ordered their Tri Tip Sandwich, $ 6.91 with tax. What I got was 3 slices of Tri Tip about 1“x4″ each, a bit of slaw and sauce on a small hamburger bun. After hitting up a conversation with some of the other customers there, the consensus was their sandwiches are tiny, even the burgers. So how was the flavor? It was good. The Angus beef Tri Tip was tender their BBQ sauce was decent. Service was friendly and efficient, especially notable for being first day opened. Next time? Maybe if I am not so hungry and feel like a burger, I may go back for their Memphis Burger. I won’t call this a BBQ restaurant.
