History

Established in 2005.

Beachbikes had humble beginnings in a garage on Hermosa Ave and 1st St in 2005. We started local offering the best cruiser deals in the area by word of mouth. Sales started to pick up and we grew our online business as the first online cruiser shop shipping nationwide. We moved into a warehouse in Torrance where we still ship and sell bikes. Today, Beachbikes has stores in Hermosa Beach, Torrance, Westminster and a shipping facility for nationwide sales in Torrance. We are the nations leading seller and expert in cruiser bicycles, parts, and accessories. Our Stores currently sell many types of bikes, offer full service repair as well as rentals.

This place is the best. With the wide range of bikes displayed, I don’t know how you can walk out without buying something. Prices range from type, make and model.
Before I forget, the great customer service I received from Marco! He gives you all you need to know about the bike so that you narrow down your decision. Not to mention, he allowed me to take a few bikes out for a test drive. That was unexpected and a joy to get a feel for what your getting. His knowledge and ease to talk to made my decision only easier.
This is the second time I purchase a bike here and it’s a good feeling to walk out with something worth your buck.
The need to visit any other bike shop for cruisers is worthless. Of course, if that’s what you had in mind.

I came here recently to get beach cruisers for my wife and I. They have excellent prices and some of the best customer service you could possibly get from a store. They have a wide array of beach cruisers and I’m sure you will find something you like. Marco is a cool dude and will be able to help you out with any kind of issue you may have. There are other bike shops closer to where I live, but I will continue to come back to this store, because of how I was treated.

Very good customer service. We entered the small showroom, and despite there being maybe three other customers in the store, Marco acknowledged us and offered to answer any questions we might have. Actually, he was pretty good at juggling multiple customers. We didn’t feel pressured to buy. It was all very laid back and comfortable. My husband is super happy with the bike he purchased, which makes me happy! Now we just need to come back for the matching kids bike. My son wants one too!

Beachbikes provided amazing personal service! I ordered 2 bikes on-​line with the intent to pick them up from their store. One of the bikes was no longer available and I received a friendly phone call to discuss alternatives. After Charlie checked their «on the floor» store inventory, I actually was able to order a bike that we were originally wanting but was out of stock on-​line. Charlie was very helpful and accommodating and after speaking with him, I was looking forward to our store visit for the pick-​up.
When arriving to the store, we were greeted and welcomed by Adam. He pulled the ordered bikes out for us and suggested we take them on a test-​ride, to make sure everything felt okay and that we were satisfied with our selections. As a result of our rides, Adam quickly made some seat adjustments and brake checks. He was then kind enough to help us load them onto our bike rack.
We are loving our bikes and glad that we found Beachbikes. We live in AZ, but will be returning to Beachbikes yearly for our bike tune-​ups!

I went into Beach Bikes today to potentially buy a bike and I ended up finding the perfect one! Although there was only one guy working there today (half an hour before closing), he provided the best customer service possible. Not only that, there were two other customers and he did a great job making sure we all were being tended to.
I’ve never owned a beach cruiser so after asking a few questions I was given advice on which bikes sounded most suitable for me. I mainly wanted one that I could
ride simply from my house to my university & from class to class. Since my university has a generally flat land-​scape, I figured I just needed a simple one so I ended up test-​riding a 24″ yellow/​vanilla Urban cruiser around their parking lot. It was super smooth and easy to maneuver so I ended up purchasing it for $ 173 w/​tax.
One thing I was worried about regarding beach cruisers overall was the tire size! I’m actually 5ft (.4’11 if I’m being completely honest) so trying to just sit on the 26″ tire beach cruisers was difficult and worrisome. The 24″ ones for me were personally much more comfortable and my feet were able to slightly touch the ground.
Anyways, my experience here was great and I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a cruiser. Also, don’t forget to look up any discounts on Unilocal for this place. I got a free bell for my bike by checking in!
