Bug Stop Services

I used their Rosemary product for ants and it was excellent. Huge any problem is gone. It’s been 2 months and no ant in sight!

I switched to Bug Stop Services after a year of consistently bad service from Terminix. Bug Stop Services has great customer service — both from the office staff and the field guys. They show up when they’re scheduled to and never leave a mess. They have a nice, updated online account/​payment system in addition to competitive prices for year around maintenance plans. Really happy I made the switch. Look forward to a long term relationship with this company.

I was visiting my mother and one evening noticed a water bug in her master bathroom. I was horrified! Never in the 45 years she’s lived there ever did she have one! Immediately I Unilocaled for help and came across several bug services. Even though there were several other companies that had more reviews, they also had problems such as not getting a call back from the companies they chose, etc… Bug Stop Services had so many positive reviews that I had to give them a try and I’m glad I did! When I called first thing in the morning, I spoke with Daisy. She was great. Answered all my questions (I was freaked out and had many) and was very informative. She couldn’t send anybody out for a week but I still wanted to wait and give them a try. Cesar came out today and he talked to me twice since I wasn’t there and I live abroad I wanted to make sure everything was ok. He talked to me before and after treatment and also answered my questions. He reassured me that he had taken care of the problem. Both he and Daisy went over the warranty and went over plans they offer without being pushy. I’m glad I waited and used them.

Had Cesear come out today to spray for ants, super nice guy, professional, clean, fast and doesn’t mind answering any of your questions. Would totally use them again.

We’ve been using Bug Stop for probably 4 years now? John is amazing! Such a friendly, sincere, expert! He always goes above and beyond even when we bombard him with last minute questions during his regular visits! Best service ever!

I’ve been using Bug Stop services for about a year now and I have to say dealing with John has been a fantastic experience. There is a lot more two controlling your ant situation than meets the eye. Also when dealing with any company or contractor, you have the human nature piece that oftentimes has quirks. John loves his job and he is a really cool and knowledgeable guy. He spends more time listening than talking which works for me and the answers he gives you are thought out and delivered with confidence.
For me communication is key and it is so important that I communicate with my contractors at a high level so nothing gets missed. Nothing infuriates me more than me finding something not done or even worse something broken long after a contractor is gone. I trust John and know that he is my guy 100%!
I have some ants building up in the backyard because I’ve been doing some construction and disturbing mounds that probably haven’t been messed with in years. I do not understand ants and their behaviors but finally after 40 years of doing battle with them I now know that the answer is not at a home center and definitely not in a can of ant pesticide that comes off the shelf. I do know that John’s silver bottle has all the answers that I am looking for though:)
I called John and told him the problem and he came over a couple hours later. This is pretty much tell all my experiences have been with Bug Stop. I find the problem and John comes over as soon as he can and by soon that usually is the same day or the next day.

We’ve used Bug Stop 3 times in the past 2 years and we haven’t seen a single ant in our house since! We used to get horrible ant infestations and tried using every product available in the pest aisle but the results were always temporary and we were back to square one within days.
John always shows up with a smile and gets straight to work, he’s in and out in 15 minutes and whatever magic juice he has in his spray bottle really works! Worth every penny and probably cheaper than trying or buying all those conventional baits and poisons over the years. The second I see the start of ants creeping around, Im on the phone with Bug Stop. They are reliable, quick on the job, and their product works!

Cesar just left after inspecting my house and I was absolutely blown away by the awesome service!!!
I was worried because I found a couple bugs on my pillow and headboard. Fearing that it might be bedbugs, I called yesterday, and they came over today to inspect.
First off, they gave me a time window, between 10 – 12, and Cesar called me around 10:45 or so to let me know he would be coming closer to 12, so if I had anything to do, I could go do it. So that was highly appreciated.
When he came, he was so knowledgeable and helpful. I had saved a tissue where I had killed some of the bugs, and he looked at them and immediately told me they were carpet beetles, which exist anywhere where there is carpet or fabric. So he told me the best treatment for these carpet beetles (constant vacuuming!). Cesar was so patient with my questions and took the time to answer them all and reassure me that they weren’t as bad as bedbugs!
His service was so quick, and he was so nice.
I would absolutely recommend Bug Stop Services, and I will be calling them again if I see any foreign bugs in my house! THANK YOU!!!

We have been using Bug Stop for a year now and have had nothing but a good experience. I literally just got a call from my wife saying that wasps were in our backyard and I called Bug Stop to clear them out for safety reasons for my 2 year old daughter. There was no technician available so one of the owners, (John) dropped what he was doing and took care of the problem with 30 mins of me calling. This isn’t the first time we have had quick-​turn requests and had them met without any pushback from the company. Top notch service.

You have a problem, you call these guys. Period.

3 words «Long Live Cesar»!!! These are times I LOVE Unilocal.Needed to do a termite report for a Refi. I was nervous because I wasn’t sure if I could trust any termite company. Not with this company. Thanks Cesar. I feel like you were very honest and extremely helpful.

I have been using these guys for over 10 years. As the others have said — they are awesome. John and Cesar are very personable and professional. They are really good at what they do. We had an awful infestation of ants, silverfish and brown spiders! Withing a few hours, they were all gone. Amazing! These guys do magic. The pricing is super fair. They are always on time or early. The other companies wanted to corner me into a contract and Bug Stop does not require any of that. It is totally up to the customer if you want to continue a monthly or bi-​monthly thing. They take all credit cards or check. Very low key guys and very honest. Don’t even bother calling around for other quotes, these are the guys to call. It is a no brainer. Thank you John and Cesar, you guys are awesome!

Obtaining a monthly bug service at a decent price can be really difficult. But Bug Stop shows up, and is able to spray when we aren’t home. We know that during the first week of every month, they’ll be here… And we’re glad they’ve got our backs!
HOW BUG STOP CAME TO OUR RESCUE:
After we moved into our home, the termite company that did our inspection and actually charged us to do the work before we closed escrow didn’t tell us about the subterranean termites. We found them in the midst of our home renovation. To make matters worse, we couldn’t move forward on renovation until someone could come out to drill and treat for the termites. When we called the original termite company, they couldn’t schedule anything for at least 3 weeks.
YEP. BUG STOP CAME TO OUR RESCUE.
Bug Stop stopped by the next day, after we called in a panic. Bug Stop showed up when our original termite company wouldn’t. And they were able to treat for subterranean termites the next day. Our renovation was able to continue the same day they treated. HELLO. That’s pretty darn excellent service.
Call Bug Stop. Don’t call them now… scroll up, push the button, and call them RIGHT RIGHT now.

Our tenting went without a hitch. I was very nervous throughout the process, but all was well. I would not hesitate to use Bug Stop Services. Getting your home tented is a major pain, but they are professionals.

Update: John called few weeks later saying that he was on a vacation and coudln’t follow up sooner. He offered to waive the inspection fee, but unfortunately I wasn’t able to take up on his offer yet. Definitely make an appointment ahead. Updating it to 3 stars.

Hate to dent their 5 star rating, but so far the service level I received is non– existent.
I left them an online inquiry before a wknd. Didn’t hear from them. The following week called and left VM, still no response after few days, so I kept calling different times of different days.
Finally a friendly lady answered. She told me an inspector would call to schedule an appt before the end of day.
No one called. 2 days later still no call.

We have had an ant problem for about 2 months in our new home, and after unsuccessfully combating it ourselves, we finally decided to call someone about it. I called with the hopes of trying to set up something for the next day. Not only did a technician get back to me promptly, but John (he’s awesome by the way!) also said he could come by first thing the next morning, which was perfect for us. He came by, sprayed, answered some other pressing questions of ours and was in and out in an hour.
As an aside, it turns out we might have termites as well, but instead of giving us the hard sell on additional services, he strongly encouraged us to get back in touch with the company that gave us a clean termite inspection 2 months ago (we just bought the home) since the money we already spent with them should go towards additional services. If for some reason that doesn’t pan out, I will definitely be calling John back ASAP.
The ant service is guaranteed for 30 days, so if these pesky ants don’t disappear, I can call back! Stay tuned, but I am optimistic. John was so friendly and knowledgable and we were quoted a great price! I really felt like he took care of us!

Update, I have called the company a few times for follow up services and they have not returned my calls. I’m moving onto another company.

Original review: I am very pleased with the service I received from Bug Stop Services. They were quick to call back, very informative with prices and options. Cesar was VERY punctual. Cesar was also informative, patient with ALL my questions, he did not seem hurried and took his time with answers and overall service. He was very polite, professional and efficient. I ended up signing up for a maintenance program.

Caesar came out within a couple of hours of answering my cry for help against the big bad ants that had invaded our house on a Friday. Luckily, a trail of them had developed so he was able to track them, inside, outside and underneath the house. He told me they would be gone by Monday. They were gone the next day and have not reappeared since.
Additionally, he found subterranean termites that should have been eliminated by our fumigation last year. He helped me find my contract with the other company to determine whether they were still accountable for their elimination and helped me understand the terms of the contract and the chemical strength and process they should use for eradicating them.
Suffice it to say, I am bringing them back to look at replacing the wood destroyed by the termites on the roof. I can’t recommend them highly enough. This is customer service at its best!!!
