I have walked in to this store 6 times in the last 2 years I have lived in the area and I must say it’s always, always a horrible experince. Can I just say ****ATTITUDE**** starting from the manager to the staff these girls are trained to be rude. You have to chase for them in order to help you out and it’s always an incomplete response. When they talk to you is as if they are looking down on you. It’s been done to me and I have seen it done to other costumers. I have been a hair stylist for over 10 years and I spend thousands each year at COSMOPROF. It is very dissapointing that as a business owner who believes in excellent costumer service I have to walk in to a place who lacks it. Not only do they lack costumer service skills but the entire store is disorganized, colors are not number correctly or they are always out. If it’s a busy store then keep it fully stocked. Also every time I go in most of the staff is in the back room giggling and eating and they leave the new unexperienced girl at the front. Please step it up. I will make sure never to return to this store again.

I love going to Cosmo prof, The staff is extremely friendly. This selection of hair products and color for Hair Stylist are huge. They only sell to licensed cosmetologist.

On the positive side, they have a good selection of professional beauty supplies, mostly hair than nails. On the down side, the service improved for a while(not necessarily a plus, it was really bad, rude, disdainful of the customers), now it is uneven. Sometime professional and pleasant. Sometimes they have trouble sorting out who should be next at the counter, where or what products are and how much they should cost and how to get locked displays open. And they really don’t want to make the time. Salesgirl finally opens a locked display, item has a different price than price shown in front of it at the box, she is irritated to have been bothered, I point out it would be more effective to show the correct price, she is more irritated. Supplies often out of stock for a looooong time. Last week purchased OPI Gelcolors, the base coat bottle is not full, product is dried out. Sales person tells me the other bottles are OK when I call, when I come in they are not, all are dried out. My point is the salesman puts the bad bottle back on the shelf, argues with me when I ask if he is really planning to sell them to other unsuspecting customers(I ask for the manager, not in. Uh huh). Why not? Right? Maybe the customer won’t bother to return them or will lose the sales slip. I’ll be opening almost anything I buy to check the quality now I know returned junk goes back on the shelf.

I do most of my shopping weekly at Cosmoprof and have never been mistreated. It can get busy here but I never saw any staff react like the the last reviews that complain. Joan went completely out of her way one day to locate some shampoo for me, at the end I didn’t need it anymore. Still she was very pleasant to deal with. The staff always say hello regardless if they are busy our not. One thing I noticed is if they run out of an item they will find it or order it. Even if its one thing! GREATCUSTOMERSERVICE! People love to complain about everything. Stop it! Life is to short to worry about the small stuff.

bought a ticket For the long beach hairs how only to find out it was a voucher which th, en I had to go on to computer to print out and if that wasn’t enough I had to fill out a questionare and don’t leave anything unanserwed or else you will not get the ticket that you’ve already paid for that was ridicules I will never buy a ticket at cosmoprof again!!!

What can I say? The only reason I come here is because there are a few products that I must get from THIS particular vender. If I had my choice I would not come here. I added a star because customer service only resides in the older gentleman behind the counter and a select few of the girls, but more often than not, I walk out of there wishing Salon Centric(formally Maly’s) would just carry everything I need. My last visit I walked in and got a hello(not a bad start) and I proceeded to my destination to get my product. When I approached the counter the girls were talking. Instead of addressing me, the one talking decided to finish the bit she was saying. She then asked me if I was ready(sarcasm flashing in my mind). After my yes, they began talking again in code switch(Spanglish) the entire time I was being rung up. I am so glad that a little customer didn’t stand in the way of their conversation.
