This place is awesome. I needec programs and laminate pics the next day. Mike is awesome aNd worked with my budget.

It’s REALLY rare that I write a 1 star review. In fact, this is my first one and I really hesitated to write this but 1 star experiences do happen so here I go.
I walked in here to get some simple invites printed after reading the exceptional reviews on Unilocal.I was really sold on the place based on the reviews and happy that I may have finally found a good local printer to use for the items I design. When I walked in, I stood there for a while waiting for one of the 2 men to notice a customer was there. I didn’t know where I should even stand because with the mess of boxes and stuff everywhere, it was hard to tell where the customer waiting area ended and their work area began. But hey, if they are great at their job, that’s something anyone can overlook. Finally, one of them came up to me after I said hello.
The man couldn’t have looked more annoyed to have a customer drop by that day. I gave him my files (saved them in many formats just to cover my bases), and he opened them in a really outdated version of Adobe Creative Suite… so there was a compatibility problem there. It wasn’t displaying right. Would have gladly worked with him to fix it, but he told me to go to FedEx. I really didn’t want to do that and wanted to go to a small business like his, but after that interaction, I did go to FedEx down the street and they printed my invites perfectly and were extremely courteous. So thanks for the suggestion to not use your services!

Had a great experience with custom 1! I needed a single card printed for a gift and all the other printing locations I tried said I needed a minimum order of 10 or more cards. Mike at Custom 1 printed the single card for me and even stayed late so I could pick it up on my way home from work! Such great customer service, I’ll definitely be back!

Consumer Beware!
This place just wants to make a sale and take your money. I came to this place needing some CD duplication and spoke to OJ. He assured me that it can be done in time. Well, not only did he over promise, but he left the job to the owner Mike. No one really wanted to take responsibility for their actions. So what happen was i ended up with a crappy CD to give to my clients, and still had to pay full price for them. They were not very helpful or sorry for their mistake. Think twice before using them!

Mike at Custom 1 Printing is great! He is easy to work with and very patient with me when I kept changing my mind about what I wanted. My business cards turned out just as I wanted them, even with all my custom features, and they offered me many options along the way. Later, my husband’s business cards turned out top notch as well. I’ve seen examples of his more complicated printing jobs, and they look amazing. Great experience and I’ll be sure to go back every time for our printing needs!

In a world where Kinko’s/FedEx has seriously regressed, I was delighted to discover Custom 1 Printing on Hawthorne Blvd. in Torrance. They were reliable, communicative, flexible, and they did an absolutely great job. If you are in the South Bay, they are a really good option for printing jobs, with a lot of old-​fashioned expertise and customer service.

Best local price, fast and friendly service, high quality. I ordered my 500 single-​sided color copies, emailed a PDF and 30 minutes later they were done. What more do you want?

Custom 1 Printing is very reliable and has superb customer service. Mike and Shervin were extremely knowledgeable in assisting me with my paper needs. The rates were reasonable and the work finished in a timely matter. I’ll be back here for all my printing needs in the future.

I used Custom 1 for all my wedding stuff. They printed my Save the Dates and Invitations including labels and return envelopes. They also printed my place cards as well as these table names we created. They all turned out great! On the table names a few of them had writing that got cut off and they quickly fixed the problem and re-​printed them at no charge. Will definietly use this place in the future!

I would give zero stars if I could. They said that my business card printing job was too small of a project for them and the hassel was not worth their time.
Isn’t 500 business card print a pretty standard job? OJ is his name and I will take my business to a shop where they treat customers with care, whether the customer has big jobs or small jobs.
