Del Amo Inn

Although I wasn’t too happy about paying nearly $ 100 for a room for less than 12 hrs I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the accommodations. The room is surprisingly spacious. Has mini fridge, blow drier, large flat screen tv, microwave, work desk and breakfast table. My room was facing Hawthorne boulevard and the passing of the cars was a little noisy and disturbing. Fortunately most of the rooms here do not face the street. They would be well advised to put in noise resistant windows in the rooms that face the street. Another thing that was a pleasant surprise was the free wifi, which you usually have to pay extra for at other hotels. Overall I feel this place is a good value. Im happy about my choice to stay here.

I’ve stayed here multiple times, it is cheap, no bad smells, clean sheets and bath-​tub, cable is good, basic rooms, air conditioning works, and the refrigerator & Micowave function. Wow this is a very good deal. Do not expect anything extra and you will not be disappointed. I plan on staying here anytime I need the basics. The only complaint is it is a fast street, get ready to gun it to get out and hard braking to get in.

BED BUG INFESTATION!!! I had owner come up and showed him and he said there wasn’t ever a problem before with any kind of bug and I was the first one to complain. The thing is the boxsprings are covered in plastic which is a half ass way to keep bed bug numbers down. I got in a fight with my husband and left my wallet so my friend got the room for me for the night. The owner said he couldn’t change rooms because my friend wasn’t present. So what… I gotta sleep and get eaten alive by a million bugs? Oh and those bugs can hitch hike on my luggage to my home where my children are? Did I mention bed bugs are unharmed by 99% of exterminater poisons and can hide in the walls of your house until the chemicals wear off and go without eating for a year and come back to get you ?! Wait but the fact you cant escape them they will drop from the ceilings to eat you alive at night and follow you around the house definitely puts me at ease… Theres also roaches EVERYWHERE. For $ 90 A night Id expect a little more sympathy or maybe even a room change

We just checked in and right off the bat the lady at the front desk was extremely rude. But for this cheap of a price I’ll put up with her shitty attitude.
The place is pretty quiet and the sheets and bed seemed clean enough. (We stayed on a Wednesday night, so maybe it gets noisier on weekends??) This is a bare bones, no frills motel. There are a couple of beat up looking washers and dryers in the car port…
The room does have a nice flat screen t.v. and pretty fast wifi internet!
Bottom line: this place isn’t the Four Seasons, but for the price it is ok.
P. S. It’s right next to an Audi dealership, so expect to hear the beeping of car alarms being armed/​disarmed and the revving of the $ 115K Audi R8…

We stayed two nights, not bad for the price. Clean enough. The husband up front does not want to give you additional towels. We had 4 people staying and he would only give 2 towels. When we asked, he said we dont need them.

It was cheap, but not a place I would stay for more than a few days. Good cable and a decent room and not a bad price. It is run by an Indian family, the father was nice, the mother seems stern, and the kid is just… words can’t describe him. If you speak English, be ready for a mutual misunderstanding between you and the kid. I asked for a Do Not Disturb sign (which they don’t seem to have any of) and he gave me towels. They also wanted to charge me half a day’s rent if I were to check out two hours past check out time.
The clients that it attracts can be something else too. The people next door had their TV up loud as hell, people were yelling in accents at night, and sometimes early in the morning, and doors (rooms and cars) were constantly being slammed at night. Some of the people just looked shady too.
While this sounds like it would deserve less than 3 stars, it is an okay place for a few nights and/​or if you don’t plan on staying in the room much during your stay. Although i REALLY would be tempted to knock it down a half star for the lack of do not disturb signs. What the hell is that about? But I did have a microwave and a fridge and it was pretty cheap, so i could not expect much more. Although i am not a very tall man and I am taller than the placement of shower head.
