Cheap junk. We bought 2 leather sofas side tables and a dining room table in Dec 2012 for what we thought was a good deal. By 2014 the sofas both have a broken spring poking at you and multiple spots where the vinyl just decided to separate from the carrier like a pealing sunburn. As far as their extended warranty we bought only good for stains a $ 5 bottle of stain cleaner can fix. Apparently everything else is avoidbale and not covered… so basically if you want cheap furniture that will break in a year go for it and even then don’t bother with any «extended warranty». I’ll take my next couch purchases somewhere that makes a product that might last 5 or 10 years.

About 3 years ago we purchased about $ 3k worth of furniture from the Torrance EasyLife store. The furniture was pretty affordable and we were not expecting a whole lot from it. The salesman also sold us on a warranty that was supposed to cover damage to the furniture.
Our coffee table has veneer on the edge of the shelves that is delaminated and splintered. Our triple reclining couch has the mechanism cable for the center position that is frayed and broken stabbing you in the leg when you sit on the couch.
neither of these problems is covered under the warranty… The warranty was mis represented by the salesman (i know read the contract…). So basically, the $ 229.00 warranty does not cover anything that is likely to go wrong with your furniture. When you read the fine print of what is covered there are 3 covered items, and then the fine print of what is not covered has 10 line items. Good luck getting anything covered under this warranty!
I feel we have been served well with this low cost furniture and would buy it again but the warranty is worthless, don’t believe what they will tell you when buying the furniture, its a flat out lie! Its just another way to separate your from your money,

Just like all furniture places, the minute you walk in someone comes up to you, but I understand, they all work off commission. Our salesperson was Carmen. Very helpful, not pushy, and polite.
We were in the market for 2 new twin bed frames for our daughters in a specific color «white» Most places have this but Easy Life beat every other store price wise and this one had the best design! Ended up purchasing!
Now here’s why I didn’t give all 5 stars. This is about the delivery which i wouldn’t have faulted the company if it was a 3^rd party delivery BUT… It was Easy Life employees who showed up so they represent the company as a whole. Problem… My timeframe was 4−7pm. They called at around almost 7 saying they’d be at my place in 20 minutes. They showed up at almost 9pm!!! 2 hours past my time frame?! Not OK with me. And to top it off. Prior to coming in my new place. I see the driver of the truck smoking a cigarette! Really!!! Tacky.
Overall was a good experience in store. My issues are just with the delivery guys!

this place sucks I have purchased couches and dining room table with a $ 499.00 warranty and my screws have fell out of my dinning room chairs and the warranty company said they don’t cover that my couch had broke for the recliner and a spring popped and they also said they don’t cover that to so I said what’s the point of the warranty they said not for that so if I was you I would never go there ever again so beware

i will never go to easy life again we bought a futon there which only lasted a couple of weeks before the substructure started coming apart after waiting several days for someone to come out and apraise the situation they replaced it now a couple months later we are back in the same situation again i spoke to george who told me i needed to deal with customer svcs long story short they do not stand behind they’re crappy furniture now we have to buy another futon this place sucks ass

Easylife Furniture turned what could have been a disaster into a good customer service story. My girlfriend and I were deciding between two different sectional sofas in their showroom and ultimately chose one. Unbeknownst to us, when typing up our sales receipt, our salesperson Tiffani accidentally typed in the other sofa we’d been looking at instead of the one we actually wanted. When the wrong couch was delivered, we signed off on the new sofa and didn’t notice until hours later that it was the incorrect couch. We went back to the store the next day and spoke to the store manager George. He talked to Tiffani and she remembered us and told him that there must have been a miscommunication and that she had indeed put down the wrong sofa on the receipt. Three days later, they delivered the correct sofa and took away the incorrect one, all at no extra charge. Like I said, a great example of customer service. They had no reason to redeliver a different couch since we’d signed off on the wrong one at delivery time, but they did the right thing to make us happy.

A few years ago, we bought a living room set from these guys… Right from the start they were Great !! We really liked their customer service and their eagerness to satisfy their customers.
We recently moved and decided to start fresh with new furniture so we went back to the Torrance store. We already had an idea of what we wanted and needed. The sales man pointed us in the right direction and within 5 minutes we were signing the delivery agreement. HOWEVER, when delivery came, the sofa was great, but the recliner was the wrong color ! I rejected the delivery and called the Torrance store to see what had happened. My sales guy, who promised he would do the right thing from the beginning to make sure we were happy, was not there! So the person who picked up the phone, (Diane), helped us and ordered a new recliner for next day delivery. The next day came and the recliner was dirty and smelled like RAID… we asked the delivery guy why it smelled. We thought it was the scotch guard. NOPE, it was RAID, he said they sprayed it for bugs and what not. We refused the delivery and called the store for a refund… they told me to look at my paperwork because there are NO REFUNDS, but that she would do the right thing and have a different recliner sent to us… Now we are worried that the dingy recliner might of had bugs and infested our house. At this point I would of taken the wrong colored recliner, but now we have to wait and see how they will mess up the new order. I am very hesitant to trust them since they messed up a simple recliner order TWICE! The sales guy I dealt with was not there again! How convenient! After we get this mess settled, I don’t think I will ever use these guys again. After we bought our furniture we received an ad in the mail from Ashley furniture that had better deals. Maybe I should try them next time instead !!
A side note… Diane took charge since my sales guy (Micheal) was not there and not living up to his end of the bargain in regards to treating us right and all that jazz he gave us. Diane really stepped up and was calling me every hour with updates on my replacement recliner. She and her manager got on the phone with me to fix this whole mess and they FINALLY did !! Thank you Diane, you were a warrior through this whole mess. Michael should give you the commissions because you deserved it more than he did.

Had a great experience at this store. I needed a bedroom set. Bed-​frame, mattress, the whole nine yards. Immediately approached by the salesman. He was courteous and very informative about the products. Bought everything I needed and it was all delivered on the delivery date. The delivery guy even called to let us know he was on his way. Great quality furniture and great customer service.

I’ve used Unilocal to look at reviews since forever but never had a real reason to write my own reviews — until NOW. This I had to share…
My husband and I bought a whole new bedroom set and a dining table here about 4 weeks ago and we just received our bedroom set this week. We still have no idea when we will be receiving our dining table and we’re supposed to «wait for their call» as to when it will be in stock.
Now, the initial reason we went to Easy Life is bc I saw that they carried the same exact bedroom set that I saw on Costco’s website (it was the exact same manufacturer and they even had the same picture on their website that was on Costco’s website) and it was going for about $ 1,000 cheaper. Who wouldn’t want to buy the same merchandise cheaper???
I totally thought it was a steal and had no doubts that I wanted to purchase my furniture here. When we ordered our furniture though, our salesman told us that our furniture was out of stock and that it would be 2 weeks until it would be in stock. We agreed to wait even though we were newlyweds and were currently sleeping on the floor and scheduled our delivery for a Sat, 2 weeks out. Our salesman told us that they would be calling us on Friday morning to give us the delivery window for Sat and in the event that they don’t call us, he gave us the # to the warehouse for us to call and confirm.
Now my husband and I went away on vacation that week and we actually had to cut our Vegas trip short and return on Friday so that we would be there for delivery the next day. Unfortunately, we didn’t receive any calls from anyone the day before so I called the warehouse # and they told me they didn’t have a delivery window for me bc there was no furniture in stock. I hung up with them and called Easy Life directly to speak with my salesman and it turned out that our salesman was conveniently off that day so I escalated my call to the manager. I stayed calm and explained to the manager that we were promised a delivery date and that it was an error on their part because they couldn’t do as they promised. He goes on to tell me that they never promised anything and that it was an «Estimated Delivery Date» they gave us when we ordered our furniture. I explained to him that my salesman specifically promised me that they would be able to deliver on that day bc I had expressed that we needed a bed asap and I wasn’t willing to wait any longer. He then goes on to say that my salesman wasn’t supposed to do that and that there was nothing he can do for me. I get pissed at this point bc not only did I cut my vacation short to make it back in time for the delivery, but because the manager doesn’t take any responsibility on behalf of his sales guy and he doesn’t apologize! I told him that they made several mistakes in the following order:
1. the salesman lied to us to get his sale by promising us a fake delivery date when the furniture wasn’t in stock
2. they never called to inform us that our furniture would NOT be delivered as promised the day before which resulted in us cutting our vacation shorter
3. if I had not called, they would never have contacted me because I fell through one of their many holes of horrible customer service of them not following up with their customers
The manager then proceeds to tell me that they have the bedroom set in stock but they’re waiting for the dining table and that it might be another 2 weeks or so until they get it in stock. I told him I wanted the bedroom set delivered asap since they had it in stock and he tells me that I have to pay another delivery fee for it. I told him that that was not negotiable and that they have horrible customer service and the least they could do for me was waive the second delivery fee since it was their lies and mistakes that got me to where I was but he still wouldn’t budge and told me that he couldn’t do that. After some major arm twisting and reasoning with him, he finally agreed to waive the second delivery fee and I went ahead and scheduled the delivery for the bedroom set which came was promised.
I am somewhat happy at this point bc my husband and I are no longer sleeping on the floor and waking up with back cramps but we are still eating on the floor bc we’re waiting on our dining table which we’re not exactly sure when it’s coming.
If I could go back and do it all over, I would’ve just bought it through Costco and paid the extra $ 1,000 because all this headache was just not worth it. I still gave it 2 stars instead of 1 bc their furniture is great quality and I love the bedroom set that I ordered.
Sorry for the essay but I thought this would be impt for those trying to decide whether they should go with Easy Life or not. I say NOT.

after driving all over town looking at different furniture places we happen to trip over this place and went it. we ended up getting an entire bedroom set at a really good price. We had good service good product and when the furniture showed up one had a small dent, so we called and they are sending a new one. very happy with the entire experience. we will shop again.
