In 2007, I developed a bad tooth infection which spread along the upper right molders. Dentists at a top Century City practice advise the teeth would need to be extracted and replaced with implants. At 21 this was not an option! A friend of mines told me about a colleague of hers at USC dental school who specialized in complex root canals and oral infections. I immediately made an appointment and upon learning of my case, Dentist Farhangi agreed to accommodate me by opening the office two hours early at 7am. She used a camera which projected a ultra magnified image of my tooth onto a television on the wall of the exam room so she could better see the tooth in more detail.
To this day, dentists at some of the best practices in New York City will comment on the quality and detail of my molder root canals. I’ve had no recurrence or re-​infection.

At the end of the day, what do you want from a dentist? Caring, professionalism, integrity, and excellent, thorough work. That’s Dr. Farhangi and staff. I’ve seen many dentists over the years. Dr. F. is excellent. And my teenage daughters were more comfortable in her office by far than prior dentist. I just came back from a cleaning — that the Dr. does herself. She removed a stain from one tooth and advised me on how to keep it from returning. She also gave me advice and followed up with an orthodontist I needed to see to re-​cap the front teeth I cracked as a kid — saving me thousands of dollars in the process and literally even potentially saving my capped teeth from breakage in unnecessary orthodontia. For the guy below that was told he needed a deep cleaning, etc. — candidly my good man — if the Dr. said you needed it, then, sorry, you probably did. She has never pushed unnecessary treatments on me, and even delayed treatment to put me in a greater chance for success after teeth straightening from an Orthodontist. Bottom line: Dr. Farhangi is an excellent dentist. For what it’s worth, I am the son of an oral surgeon, hold a doctorate degree, and consult with clients nationally. Take care of your teeth and gums; Call Mary at the office, and set an appointment with Dr. Farhangi today.

I have been going to Dr. Farhangi’s dental office more than two year now. Before I went to Dr. Farhangi my gum was not healthy. She really takes her time for my cleaning and does a thorough and quality work, for a reasonable price. She is very knowledgeable and caring dentist who explains everything very clearly. She has a private, very clean and modern dental office with friendly and welcoming staff that makes my dentist experience, always a pleasant one.

I went to Dr Farhangi for a cleaning. Next thing I know she’s telling me I have lots of tartar build up and need a PERIO ROOTPLANNING which would cost me $ 1200 out of pocket. No insurance. Then she wanted to charge me $ 125 to polish my teeth without doing a dental cleaning.
I had a cleaning 6 months earlier and the DDS commented on how great my teeth were and easy to clean since there was no tartar.
I denied service, went to another DDS and that dentist commented on how great my teeth were and easy to clean since there was no tartar.
Scam artist, dentist!?! I believe so.
