Hi! My name is Denise and I am a credentialed teacher. I tutor pre-​k through 5^th grade in a variety of different subjects in my home, located in North Torrance. If you’re looking for a teacher who will motivate and inspire your child, I’d love to help you out. Learning doesn’t have to be difficult. Together we will work on your academic needs and have fun along the way!

Just a little about myself:

I was born and raised here in Southern California. I completed my A. A degree in Liberal Studies with a Speech concentration at El Camino College. I earned my B.A. in Liberal Studies with an English and a Math Minor, and then my California Multiple Subjects Clear Teaching Credential at California State University, Long Beach. I have a love and a gift for teaching. I’ve been teaching for over 30 years, and have worked with hundreds of students. Over the years, I have gained much experience in effectively teaching students in many different subject categories.
