The wife went to Handy Market on Cabrillo in Torrance the other day and I was shocked to hear what happened! She said, after getting her hair done across the street, she needed some more cash to pay the stylist. She went to Handy Market. The clerk told her, she had to buy something, so she grabbed an Arizona (99 cents) and a (99 cent) bag of Ruffles chips. That is a $ 1.98 total. He charged her $ 4.50 for the 2 items plus tax. (Last time I looked there was no tax on this type of purchase).
To make matters worst, he wanted another $ 3.50 to give her $ 60 cash back that was adding insult to injury. The real regret is I have to listen to the wife complain everytime I drive up the street. Maybe this review will help.
This small store seemed messy with that fire wood in the front door!
