Awful, awful, awful. The easiest part is the install, but everything else is just awful. After 2 months our system already failed and parts needed to be replaced. It took 2 weeks with an unarmed house before someone came out. Ridiculous. They also said we’d be getting a $ 100 AMEX gift card and it turns out that they don’t really send those.
I would call our sales guy and not only was he not customer service friendly, but he was a liar. I finally got a call back from Home Alert today after calling my sales rep again only to find out that he is no longer with the company, yet his voicemail still works with his name on it.
I asked what it would take to get out of my contract as I appreciate a company with clean advertising and good customer service. The guy, who sounded 10 and told me he was the GM, quoted me some ridiculous fee of over $ 1,000. This company is a scam and not about your safety.
