Been shopping at J Jill for years, first in Palos Verdes, and when that store closed, Del Amo. I do enjoy their clothing, but lately this store has more size smalls and mediums than Large or XL While the sales people are helpful, sometimes I feel pressured like tonight. which compelled me to write. I went in to return items, but ended up walking out with two things instead of my intent to return items rather than buy. Don’t get me wrong, the ladies here are not out for the hard sell, sometimes, too much help will make me feel as if I have to buy something for their time. Yes, my own weirdness but I felt compelled to write about how being very helpful is also a sales gimick to sell more!
Overall, this is a good company, they stand by their merchandise and have a 90 return policy. Shopping on line is super easy and they concierge you in the store if your items aren’t available. They offered to order me the correct sizes tonight, but if I am shopping in a store, I’d like to go home with the item rather than mail order it. Shipping is usually free when they order for you from the store. (Eddie Bauer has the same practice)

The sales ladies are nice but the music is way too loud!
