They align vehicles the old school way that comes only with experience and patience — two things lasers, silicon and liquid crystal displays have yet to master.
They’ve been flexible with scheduling. I show up on time and they’re ready to go. The tech asks the right questions and could accommodate my *exacting needs with zero fuss. I had a steering wheel that was slightly off-​center. They adjusted the tie rods a quarter turn. Wasn’t quite right. They took it back probably 1⁄8 of a turn. Bingo.
I will continue to give them my business so long as they continue to handle business.

Highly competent, amazing service, Johnson’s Alignment is the best place to take alignment problems in the South Bay. My alignment was way out of whack, but was unfixable because the real problem was worn-​out tires. They spent 2 hours trying to fix the alignment first before telling me the bad news about my tires. I went and got new tires, and the alignment was still a little off. They spent another 2 hours perfecting the alignment at no further cost. Thank you!

Very Honest Shop and courteous mechanics! They were able to fix the alignment in my s2000 and is driving perfectly now. 3 months ago i actually brought my car in a different shop regarding the alignment problem and they said that they have to replace something in the suspension in the backend (i forgot the name of the part) and guess what! Johnsons mechanics were able to find the problem by just tightening a loose screw!!! t The first shop was going to charge me $ 900 to replace a part or just tightening a screw… Good thing i didnt have money that time and didnt get it fixed to there shop. Will definitely recommend this shop to friends and my shop now for future alignments

I would like to say Thank You to Steve and the crew at Johnson’s Alignment.
I brought my 1972 Nova to them after their competitor didn’t align it properly.
(I wore out some new tires in 1260 miles.) I will not return to Torrance Auto Repair.
Upon replacing the tires, Steve had the front end aligned. I was so pleased, I
drove the car around the hill. Just went for a drive… what a pleasure
that it didn’t drive like a tractor.
Thank You so much for straightening out someone else’s mess.
Great experience. I would recommend then to anyone.

I’ve been here 3 times now, 2 alignments and once for poly bushing and RCA install. The work is top notch, turn around time is fast and the price is fair. If you want a pleasurable experience you have to make an appointment, since they are almost always busy, and just let them do their job. The guys are always a bit grumpy, but honest and fair. I wouldnt trust my car with anywhere else really.

I take all my cars here for suspension and alignment work. From a Ford Focus to a Lexus GX470. They always treat me fairly and stand behind their work.
The Focus had a brake job done here a few years back. After picking it up, I noticed the parking brake wasn’t working right so I stopped by Johnson’s to have them take a look. Steve said the parts that they used weren’t working satisfactorily and that we should replace everything with OEM parts. It wasn’t ideal to have to return, but I feel I was treated fairly and the second time around, all was well.
I am very aware of the costs involved in properly maintaining any machine or vehicle. I can always trust Johnson’s to meet my high standards and offer solutions to any problems that arise. I will continue to use Johnson’s for all my vehicle suspension and alignment work.

Great Service! Great Experience! Amazing Knowledge!
Johnson Alignment was recommended to me by my Porsche mechanic, so I took my 993 C4S to get alignment checked and four corner balanced.
(the car has fully adjustable suspension and had three other alignment shops claim they had fixed and addressed my issues in the past nine months… the issues I was having was going into corners car felt very unbalanced and at high speeds car felt very wobbly and all over the place)
Steve at Johnson Alignment addressed all the issues, corrected the tow on the rear wheels, accurately balanced all four corners on the car and since then car has been amazing!
Very very happy with the service! Worth every penny and going back out to get my Elephant Racing parts installed!

After reading some reviews online I decided to go to these guys to have a rack & pinion installed, did the job and I left then I noticed every time I make a turn something was rubbing took it back and he said I needed rack spacers so that obviously told me they didn’t test drive the car after or anything any shop would count the rack spacers front the old rack and made sure it was the same amount on the new one these people didn’t give a shit about what they didn’t do I went there 3 times and The owner has a real Nasty attitude and refused to correct their mistake, all along my tire was rubbing on the sway bar took it to another shop and the problem was fixed without any issues. I will never return there or recommend anyone to visit them don’t be fooled by those reviews these people shouldn’t be in business

Hit a curb pretty hard. Took it to a repair shop after the car was driving terrible and pulling to the right.
Had the car on a lift at the shop and they couldn’t see any damage. Someone recommended Johnsons alignment.
Took the car in, Steve found the problem right away and told me what needed to be fixed.
Turns out I broke suspension parts as I hit the curb.
I brought the car in on a Wednesday. Had It Fixed by Monday.
It was a little pricey, but the car runs great and feels straight as an arrow, so totally worth it.
I’m sure I would have paid a lot more at the dealer.

Took my car to be repaired after an accident. They did the job for a reasonable price but when I asked about the condition of my car John was totally rude and had an attitude. I left there with a sour taste in my mouth. I think part of having a business is not getting the job done but customer service as well. There are so many places that can do the same job and can treat you like a human. Don’t come here. I hope it wasn’t because I am a woman.

If you have a lifted Jeep that doesn’t track straight, take it to these guys. All of the alignment shops use lasers that don’t work on wider track vehicles. These guys will do it the old fashioned way.

After going to another alignment place and them telling me my bolts are stuck I came here. The other place said it’s too much work to free the bolts but Johnson’s is familiar with this since they work on classic cars on a regular basis. Johnson’s is family owned and operated and the mechanics are older more experienced not the typical teenage/​college kids employed at other places. I saw a lot of professional autocross Porches being worked on that day so I know these guys are good. The owner personally takes his time to diagnose each car and they take their time to get it done right. And I was surprised that it was actually cheaper than the other place.

I have been coming into Johnson’s for over 30 years. First with my dad, to get work on his cars, now with my own cars. Never have I had more trust with mechanics then the Alarcon family and the guys at this establishment.
I never feel like anything they are suggesting is just to pad a price. They will take the time answering questions and make sure to explain things so you understand. Pricing is always reasonable for what they do. Today was ½ of Many, Moe and Jerk. I have referred several friends here all with the same comments about how great the experience was.
Next time you need an alignment, give them a try. You will not be disappointed.

I had my Veloster Turbo lowered over at Pierce Motorsports and drove my car a few bays down to Johnson Alignment for of course, alignment. The person who helped me was very thorough and even asked me what I was going to use it for (auto-​x, dialy driver) and how much I weighed.
I headed out to lunch and by the time I came back the car was already done from the road test. I paid the lady, hopped in my car and drove off. Steers like a champ and my wallet wasn’t hurting at all.
