If I would have known this little gem was so close to home I would’ve been shopping here for years already instead of looking for their items at Macy’s and Nordstrom. They have every item I was looking for online on their website and it made things so convenient for me because I didn’t have to order it online and wait for it to be shipped! Kate Spade is inside Del Amo mall between Nordstrom and Macy’s near the Michael Kors store on the Main Level. Two young ladies there were very helpful! I came in and was looking a black cross body bag that fit my appearance since I’m a tiny lady. I love their Hayden bags because they’re small but still large enough to fit a lot of things inside, plus they’re ridiculously gorgeous! You can get certain bags monogrammed but you would first have to order it online with them and wait a few days for it to ship (to their store or online). Anywho, I couldn’t decide between 3 crossbody bags: Cameron street body, cedar street cami, and cedar street magnolia. So I asked the same nice lady that greeted me for her opinion and she recommended the magnolia bag because you can adjust it three different ways! It was like she performed a magic trick in front of me! I loved it, paid for it, and left the store happy as a bee! I can’t wait to come back and see their new styles for the season!

Unfortunately I had the worst return experience of my life at the Kate Spade store inside Del Amo fashion center. There was absolutely no need for this at all as I had the original sales receipt in hand and the purse I was returning was brand new and obviously still with its original price tags on. Reason for return was that my mother didn’t want this particular purse from Kate Spade afterall. She changed her mind and instead wanted a different purse from Michael Kors instead. Anyway, This location has VERY POOR MANAGEMENT and very poor customer service from both the manager and some of the employees. The manager had me waiting for a very long time to do this return and didn’t even come out herself from the back room to tell me that it was going to take more than an hour to do this return!!? I had to get the attention of one of the employees that work there to find out what was going on, and even then the employee gave me an attitude and responded to me with «well she’s the manager»?! That employee didn’t even care to go see what the big hold up was… instead she sent another employee to go see the manager. At that time there were no other customers in the store, so it wasn’t a busy day at all. There is one young gentlemen employee there which I’m sad to say I didn’t get his name, but I believe he «may» be Hispanic? He is such a sweetheart! He seems to be the only person to work there to be the most sincere and genuine. Not fake at all like the rest of the others that work there. That being said, I hope the manager at this location does a better job on «managing».

Not pushy, so you can browse in peace and then ask for help.
The female associates are much better at selling than the men are and know better deals.
It always starts off with the dude telling me about a deal and I think about it, and then the ladies clarify and add additional discounts on top and then I end up buying it, lol. So bad!
However, all in all, I’m glad this store is here. KS makes me so happy and I adore the brand!

Love this store! I cannot say enough nice things about the service in this store. I met the Manager today and He recognized me from my original Unilocal ! It was a 5 star rating and that earned me an extra 25% off YA Unilocal!) He will also order your size if it’s not in stock. Ask the sales staff to check in back for items that may not be on the floor. I purchased a beautiful color block scarf & the floor sample had significant snags so they pulled one from their stock & wrapped it beautifully in a box, They have the cutest novelty hand bags and Kate Spade office and note pads and re-​usable coffee and beverage cups. They have a huge selection of iphone 6S * Plus cases and handbags galore. They also have a good jewelry selection. Best part is the 5 star service here!

Always get 5 star service when I come here. From shoes, to hand bags, to accessories this store has cutting edge and I’m so happy they opened a store closer to me.

Ick service. I wanted a couple of accessories online and having never seen them in person, I decided to see whether I could find them in the store, or at least get an idea whether I wanted to buy them or not. Unfortunately the items just sold out in the store but the sales associate says that she could assist in ordering them for me online. Great! Except I was torn between two accessories but told her that I’d return to make a decision and order. I walk the store in the hopes that maybe I’d find something similar and without the wait of purchasing online. The sales associate follows me around the very crowded store. Um, okay. Unnecessary. My mother inquires about another style of the accessory I wanted, the sales associate swears it’s leather and that every product is made of 100% leather (note, I’d done my research online where it clearly states it’s vinyl). I had a puzzled look on my face but blew it off. I tell the associate that I would return shortly with a decision and ready to order. She confirms and we part.
About an hour later, with my mind made up, I return and tell the same sales associate what I wanted. She says okay and just stands there against the wall. Okay. I ask what the wait was for and she says «we need to see whether the item is online.» I hold up my phone with the items on the page and say that according to the website that they are indeed available. Then I ask whether I need to walk to a register for the transaction. She says that the only transaction she could do immediately was by cash. I say it will be by card, she says okay, and continues to lean against a nearby wall. She says nothing more as she stared off into space. There was another mother/​daughter pair opening phone cases and trying them on… do you think she watched them? Nor did she say anything.
My mother walks in and asks if the transaction had been completed. I tell her no, that I was given no other instructions after declaring to the sales associate that I was ready to make a sale and the sales associate just said «okay.» My mother reminded me that since it was seen online, that I could just complete it by myself and with no other help. I admit duh on my part and turn to leave the store. Long story short, I make the purchase later that day, online, and without the rudeness of the sales associate that felt like she would rather be paid to be a support system to a wall that already had proper support.

I went in to the store 2 days before Christmas, one of the busiest shopping days, to buy my daughter a wallet for her Christmas present. When I got to the store, the sales associate Shayla was quick to help me find the exact wallet and color that I needed. Unfortunately, she informed me that the wallet in the particular color I wanted was not currently in stock at the sore. But no fear — Shayla let me know that she could put in an order to the manufacturer so that the wallet would be (a) sent right to my door, free of shipping costs, and (b) packaged very nicely. I was hesitant to put in an order so close to Christmas, but Shayla was very reassuring and provided me with a lot of information so I had her put in the order for me.
Sure enough, Christmas Eve, the package was at my door, wrapped in a pretty pink and orange box, wrapped in a green kate spade ribbon. It saved me the time of wrapping the wallet for my daughter during such a hectic time of year. Thank you, kate spade Del Amo and Shayla!

So my review gets 5 STARS because of the store leader, Dana and her associates Daniel and Kayla. 12 of us got the same Kate Spade bag for Christmas from our boss and some of us would have liked to have had a different style. The first time I went in Kayla tried to help me, but had to keep running back and forth between the Assistant Manager who was in the back at the time and wouldn’t come out to speak to me face to face. I left very frustrated, with no solution, and me apologizing to Kayla for my inconvenience.
Then I tried to handle the exchange online. The online return service was a nightmare, and that’s putting it nicely. Online customer service is non-existent…I talked on the phone to them 4 days ago and after 2 dropped phone calls and 1 call that was finally answered and completed, I was assured I would get a return label e-​mailed. I’M STILL WAITING FOR THE E-​MAIL!!!
Second time I went into the Kate Spade Store in Del Amo, to see what I’d like to exchange it for, lo’ and behold, Dana Whiteside stepped up to help me. She understood from the get go, what the problem was, apologized profusely for the glitch and assured me that I would get the Kate Spade customer service that they are known for. Within an hour I had exchanged the bag, completed an online order for the items they didn’t have in the store, complete with complimentary gift wrapping and free expedited shipping, as per Daniel. Dana is a gem and deserves a HUGE bonus for going out of her way to help find a solution. As I said, both Daniel and Kayla were at different times, very helpful, and deserve a HUGE thank you for their professionalism and willingness to help, so as to not lose a customer.

worst customer service if you can call it that went in their on black friday at around 9pm their was 3 sale associates on the sales floor 2 helping one lady another one standing next to me no one greeted me or my boyfriend i was looking around and it was as if i wasnt standing their they where too busy with that other customer none of them asked me if i needed help my boyfriend was very upset as to their poor customer service he said we are here to spend money and they dont want to sell so we left and walked over to michael kors where they greeted us and even the manager patrick was amazing and gave me a hug made my purchase so dont waste your time walk over to patrick he will take care of you

Rejoice! Del Amo finally has stepped up their game and added higher end stores worthy of stopping by for. Located near the new Nordstrom wing of the mall is this Kate Spade store. The storefront is deceptive, as it looks small, but there is a 2^nd room in the back with more merchandise.
I stopped in on a Sunday morning, and the store was not busy. The staff was adding more Kate handbags on the display, but still had time to chat with the customers. Overall, not pushy but friendly.
I didn’t see anything on this visit, but the store did have some items 30−40% off. Its not the biggest Kate store, but they do have some nice stuff.
