Kathy’s Dog Daycare & Training

I have a year and half old mix dog which is about 13lbs, (it is a small dog) and he loves to go to Animal Plaza. I have sent him to the pet smart for a day care, but he didn’t play with other dogs at all. But whenever he comes here, he is so playful! I try to send him at least once a week, but it is hard with school and work schedules. However, I observed a big difference after not sending him to the daycare. He became little aggressive yet, nervous because he rarely had contact with other dogs or unknown ppl. So, I have realized that I really need to try to send him at least once a week!
They are known for the puppy/​dog training program, but they also offer a daycare. If you want a dog training, definitely set a conference with Animal Plaza and they will be more than happy to provide any info about their programs regarding your concerns.
For a daycare, whole day from 9−6pm, it is $ 36. The dogs at the daycare do not socialize for entire day, and I do not know how long they get to socialize during the day. But they get to socialize frequently since I see dogs playing each other during random hours. Also, they recently changed their open hours to 7pm on Wednesday and Thursday. So, now I can pick up my dog after work! I was really happy to hear that.
The trainers are very nice and welcoming! I can tell my dog really loves the trainers because he gets really excited once we park our car to the parking lot in the mall. I really appreciate this place, since it is the only place where my dog can socialize with other dogs, and I would be more than happy to send my dog for long time!

it’s been almost 3 years since my dog started going to Animal Plaza Puppy Kindergarten.
she just loves being there. loves people, and friends there.
i am sure that she thinks it’s another home for her.
sometimes I take her to work, and she’s so popular. because she is always super friendly and well behaved to everybody in my office.
I really appreciate all the people at this kindergarten. i and my dog have learned so many things from them. they are just awesome.
just so you know this place is very special !

I recently adopted a 3 months old puppy (a maltese/​shih-​tzu/​yorkie mix) and I was a bit frustrated with potty training my dog that I decided to go on a search for a dog trainer who could help me train my pup, and I came across this place. Since it was very close to my house, I decided to give it a try. The first day, I went in for a one-​hour consultation with the trainer there named Ayumi. She was very nice, VERY friendly. very pretty, and had a smile on her the whole time. She went through a series of questions about my pup, and by the end of the interview, I knew that I already trusted this place enough to handle my pup. My pup started doing great with the potty training without the help of the kindergarten, but I figured that it would still be a great place for my pup to socialize with other dogs so I just decided to send her in anyway. I’ve sent my pup in twice and it seems like my pup is enjoying it so far. The only complaint I have with this place is probably their price. I’ve looked and done by research about dog trainers, and other dog trainers’ private training sessions aren’t as high as this place. but I still have 2 more visits left till the session is over, so I’ll repost again then again of the results and see if my money was well worth it :)

Animal Plaza has just started working with our little 3 month old Bichon — Maltese. After the first week, we can notice a difference in our pup’s toilet training. She still has accidents, but mostly because we allowed her too much space in her play pen. She’s excellent with pooping on the tray… and never misses.
Animal Plaza has a very good system for training pups. She also get’s very excited when we approach the store. Her socializing time with other pups will be a valuable tool in her training of proper interactions with other dogs in the future.
