Kids in Motion Pediatric Therapy is a multi-​disciplinary therapy center that provides specialized physical therapy, speech therapy and occupational therapy services to infants, toddlers and children. In 1/​2014, we relocated to a brand new, state of the art 6200 square foot clinic complete with multiple private occupational therapy and speech therapy treatment rooms, a freinds and family waiting room, 2 large sensory motor gyms and a neuro-​rehab gym with a specialized treadmill and Lite-​Gait body weight support harness system. Kids in Motion also provides school based and clinic based therapy services for several surrounding public school districts.

History

Established in 2005.

Kids in Motion Pediatric Therapy began as a home based business in 2005 serving infants and toddlers between birth and 3 years old in the home environment. Our first clinic opened in ¹¹⁄₂₀₀₇. In 1/​2014, Kids in Motion relocated to its current 6200 square foot state of the art center located at 21 615 Hawthorne Blvd, Suite 200, Torrance, CA 90 503. We now provide clinic based physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy as well as school based therapy services for several local school districts.

Meet the Business Owner

Marcie R.

Business Owner

Marcie Rhee, DPT, PCS, is a board-​certified Pediatric Clinical Specialist. She graduated from UCLA with a B.S. in Psychology and earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from USC.

Marcie has experience in inpatient acute care, having worked at Miller Children’s Hospital. She also was the primary PT on the Pediatric Rehabilitation service at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center, one of the top Rehabilitation Centers in the nation, working mostly with children with traumatic injuries. Marcie served as Adjunct Professor of Clinical Physical Therapy at USC, co-​teaching the Pediatrics elective for Doctor of Physical Therapy students.

Marcie and her husband are the proud parents of two young boys. This perspective as a mother has guided her passion to provide meaningful and typical experiences for children with special needs and their families, as children of all abilities need to play and parents of children of all abilities need the support of parents.
