Lipo-Light Torrance

The lipo-​light works and the people who work there are pretty nice and friendly.
But I have wasted many hours waiting for my appointments. Almost every time I went (about 10 – 12 times) I have had to wait anywhere from 20 minutes to over an hour.
My first appointment was at 4:00. They tell you to arrive 15 minutes early, which I did. They were so backed up that I wasn’t seen until after 5:00.
So my last appointment I showed up maybe 8 minutes past my appointment time since the day before they wasted 30+ minutes of my time and the doctor was pissed that I was «late» which is unbelievable.
I would say call ahead before heading down there but no one answers the phone.

This review is only referencing the service. I haven’t even started my appointment yet and this place already gets 5 stars from me based on the customer service alone. I arrived early, about an hour early, because I got out of work early so I went inside to wait. The staff kept checking on me, including the provider. They made sure I was comfortable and taken care of. I was treated as a client as opposed to a number. I didn’t feel as if I was forgotten or casted to the side (even though I had my phone with me the human interaction was nice lo). The facility is clean, has a nice relaxing vibe, nice music, a keurig and a nice fresh smell. I will return

I was skeptical at first that this treatment would work. I had an event coming up soon and I wanted to lose weight around my thighs. So I spoke to Dr Lee who I had seen in the past for my back and he suggested I try out a mini series first to see how fast or slow my body would respond. After my first series of treatments, I began to notice that my pants felt looser around my thighs. I was so excited that this worked for me so I decided to continue on a program. He told me what to do on my own also to maximize my results.
The treatment itself is very relaxing and I love the vibration machine I went on to afterwards. I had trying for years to try to lose weight around my thighs and I am very happy I did this treatment.

I don’t know why there are bad reviews. It’s been about a year since, so maybe they’ve made changes. Eric Lee and his staff are awesome. They were always nice, easy to talk to, and made you comfortable. My appointments were when they opened or noon so it was never too crowded. Sessions were always a pleasant and relaxing treat. I originally bought the Groupon deal for 4 and bought an extra 2 after. I lost 4 inches! I will definitely continue to come back and maybe get a massage or adjustment. They are located in the same plaza as us bank and tutor time. Their business sign is the Wellness center. I highly recommend them to everyone.

This place is great! I came here thru Groupon.
Even though I was told not to expect results in 1 session, I saw a difference right away. The staff is great and Dr. Eric is really personable and you feel right away at ease with him. Would definitely recommend this place and the treatment works!
They explained to me very well what I was getting into with this and were very frank about what to expect and they NEVER tried to sell me anything else/​products or whatever. I definitely recommend it!

I’m excited about the results I’ve seen in just 2 treatments. I have 4 more to go. I love the staff, they are very friendly. I recommend everyone to try them.

Great staff very nice they were helpful n explained this isn’t a miracle worker but if I put my part in it can help diet & exercise is they key to success I like that I get to have a lil jump start have had 3 sessions & I’m noticing lil changes but everything takes time n I’m happy with what I see so far!

This place is a perfect example of «poor customer service» and «bad business». I seriously feel like the place is run by a handful of jokesters. The staff is «nice» but untrained and unprofessional. I was «forgotten» during one of my treatments and was left lying in the room, hooked up to a machine for over 30 min. This was after the 20 min treatment so that means i was in the room for almost an hour. i just don’t have that kind of time. The worst part was that they didn’t even applogize for it. They denied that they forgot about me blaming it on how busy they got. Like that was my problem. They have Inflexible scheduling, no one answers the phone so getting a live person to help you with rescheduling is impossible. I complained to them about that and they suggested that I try email. I emailed them this morning asking to reschedule my 4pm appt and they responded at 7:11pm stating there are no openings for the time I suggested and didn’t offer any other time slots. I was also given videos to follow during my work out but discovered that it was impossible because I was on a totally different machine than the one on the video! The worst part is that the owner Eric Lee, is barely involved. I can tell he is only interested in making money and not the patients. I was very disappointed in this place. Overall, this place gets one star because they clearly do not care about their patients. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

These people are very nice but this is not medicine. Their advertising promises extreme results but when you go there they make you sign something that has all kinds of disclaimers and emphasizes that you’ll only get results if you also diet and exercise. I’m sure that any results you do get will ONLY be a result of the diet and exercise. I did three treatments and didn’t lose a millimeter around my waste. Oh, and by the way, I’ve been training for a marathon, running an average of 7 miles per day for 4 days a week while trying this. And watching my diet. I certainly don’t think they can say I didn’t get results because I wasn’t following the guidelines.

I would definately recommend this place for Lipo-​Light. Very comfortable atmospher, great staff, reasonable price, and you lose inches! I was very surprised that I lost 7 inches in my thigh which I never lose even if I excise and lose weight!
