Love love love this place. I go here a lot! The chicken is always tender and juicy. Great price at 5 bucks too. I also love the salmon bowls. Yummy! The employees are also always chill and very friendly.

Not impressed with this place at all. I have been coming here since way back when. When the walls had art and were painted and the interior looked clean. Came in today to place an order to go and was terribly disappointed. I ended up waiting over 20 min for a chicken & beef plate and a chicken and garlic shrimp plate. Everyone that came after me, a couple and a woman even another man got their order before me. Then to find out the chicken and garlic shrimp plate I got was fried shrimp not the garlic shrimp I ordered and to top it off it only came with 2 shrimp. YESONLY2! I am not coming back to this place. The tables were all filthy and not wiped down. I had to try and look for a clean table to sit at which was not easy because all of the tables had food remnants on them. Obviously this place does not care about the interior which makes me question the kitchen. Not a happy camper… But I wont be back to give this place my $ 22.00. So not worth it. I would think twice and go somewhere else like Teri’s place, their food is amazing!

Best chicken teriyaki around. Love the salad dressing and the potato salad. Reasonable prices. Sometimes they get busy so if you can order over the phone.

I’ve been meaning to write this review for a month. I’ve been here before. Their Hawaiian food is OK, but my recent poke bowl experience has stayed with me till now. The fish was still frozen in the middle, so when I bit down, it was icy. The worst part was after the ice started to melt in your mouth and it was fishy ice water. I got so sick after I went home. Never ever again.

First and last time coming to this place. I ordered a poke bowl and the poke was still semi-frozen. Also, 3 quarters of the bowl were rice and only a few chunks of poke on the top. I defiantly don’t recommend this place

This is pretty bad. I wish I had read reviews and saw photos before getting anything here. The spam musubi is not what you think. They serve it like a layered spam handroll overloaded with rice! Never seen so much rice in a spam musubi. Super chinsy on the spam. You don’t even get a full slice of spam. So sad. Better off getting my own can of spam! I cannot believe they can’t see how terrible the spam portion they put in their spam musubi. How do you not see how clearly small the portion is to the rice given! The tuna poke bowl. Hm… bland. Good amount of poke but it was bland. Don’t think they serve it over sushi rice either. It is over regular white rice that was super hot which ended up cooking half of my tuna poke while in the sealed bowl on my way home. Ahhh it was disappointing. Please save yourself a good meal by going to another place. Whack!

Never been to this place but my co worker was going to go eat here and I didn’t bring lunch! So I normally don’t like to order food without trying it first but the Unilocal were 50⁄50! Omg never again cheap ass fucken place I swear! I ordered spam masubi cause come on who fucks up spam masubi! Well guess, who Maui Chicken does lol! They gave a piece of seaweed with 1⁄3 of a slice of spam and a shit load or rice! What was that? On the pictures I saw on Unilocal they gave them a whole slice of spam! What a crappy place! Never ordering from there again! Check out the pictures so you know what I mean! Wish I could give 0stars that’s what they deserve!

One of my favorite places to eat. Right across from Target, in case you need to go shopping afterwards. Everything on the menu is tasty. I usually get the chicken and asparagus plate. The also have fried gyoza. I absolutely recommend their potato/macaroni salad. You can call in to place order for to go. Always friendly service.

Arrived early for appointment with Dr. Hirano and had the Tilapia bowl added veggies and it was delic’!! Overlooked someone’s chicken plate and I’m definitely trying it next time! Overall great servings, service, clean & friendly. Only thing I would suggest is to add some Hawaiian décor, it makes it more authentic…

Noooo, what happened, I use to love this place for their Spam Musubi, grilled on the grill, decently sized thick cuts of spam, with furikake; and fresh rice, and nori. Today I get there, and I’m greeted with thin rolls of spam«musubi». Looks like its back to kings for the Musubi.

I tried it again recently. I could smell the cooking down the street. It‘has improved, so I increased my review by two stars. Its not the same, but still better. The menu has changed and I like it so far. I really thought this place was going to close down, with no business . It was sad. Give it another try, I did and it was good.

Definietly love this place! Once was all to fall in love. It was much the customer service and much much more the food! Kyle welcomed us to Maui chicken with a huge smile and after asking for help with what to order because we were first timers he threw in free soda as a way to say welcome!!! Great! The wait for the food was a bit long but me and my partner didn’t mind. The quality food we got after the wait was WELLWORTHIT. The portion was great we got full and for my partner to get FULLTAKESALOT! So add some stars for that! I most definite recommend this restaurant! Ps: Try their salsa if you dare! It’s great in the most spiciest way. He tried the beef plate and I tried the chicken plate!

The teriyaki chicken is good. They give a good portion of meat and food for their chicken plate that is $ 6.99 The salad was meh. Soggy lettuce. The potato salad was okay. Would probably still go again because of the value.

I am not claiming that the food here is Hawaiian authentic, however I can say it is good here and is reasonably priced. The past 3 trips I have taken with me the tilipia dinner. Very crisply cooked fish with the potato/mac salad and a small green salad with awesome dressing on it. My visit here is usually not more than about 10 minutes, so they are quick and good. Not much bad I can say about this place!

The service here has gotten so poor that I had to update my review. Today, it took me three calls to finally placed my order. I kept being put on hold and forgotten about. When I arrived, I sat alone at the counter for seven minutes. No employee was in sight. I had to scream for service. Then my food took an additional 20 minutes. Keep in mind, the restaurant was empty. The lady in front of me asked for a refund. I am seeing a pattern here and something needs to change because this place has great food.

I love Maui Chicken… just not this location. Ordered take away on the phone and ordered two katsu and a spam musubi. Went in and picked it up and the guy at the front desk seemed frazzled. I walked in and he kept repeating«crap, darn, oh dangit». At one point before he greeted me he said«ugh!» answered the phone and said«hello?» and hung up as if he either forgot about them, hung up on them and just kept going about his business. There was caller ID on the phone so he could have tried to contact them back??? Any way… meh on this location. Food was okay. I’d rather get katsu from L&L or another local spot. Thanks anyways!

Not sure where to start with this place, i was hungry and had high hopes. Unfortunately the cashier wasn’t nice, charming or even aware, it took him a minute to realize I was there at all, then he took my order i had a basic Chicken bowl, the food came out rather quickly… I went outside with a shimmer of hope the food was better than the service… Nope, not at all, chicken was cooked. but that’s it no seasoning or grill marks fairly tastless, the Maui sauce they pour over is clear and almost looks congealed, no idea what that tastless sauce is but they drench that SH! T out of it. And served in a Styrofoam box, not even a bowl. as another review said going downhill quickly it seems.

The restaurant is a basic one, the decorations are simple but is refreshing and remind you of Hawaii. I think they went with a streamlined neat and clean look when they remodeled. During lunch time, it really gets hopping! If you are getting carry out, you can call in your order and it is generally waiting for you to pick up by the time you get there. They usually are quick with getting orders out. You order at the counter and if you are eating in, they call out your order and you pick it up and take it to your table to enjoy. If you change up your order from the way it comes, you have a 50⁄50 chance that it will come the way you special requested it. Neither of our boys like the mac salad, so we get extra rice. I love their Mixed Plate and Salmon Teriyaki with Asparagus. They have Tuna Poke and it is really very tasty! I like the flavor of their Kalbi BBQ Beef Short Ribs. I usually order the Chicken Katsu to take home to my boys, they always eat it up with no complaints! The fried shrimp is awesome, too! Seriously, I love their macaroni salad, we often times order an extra scoop! So creamy and perfect! Food is consistently delicious! They do have an Habanero Sauce and more often than not, it has a nice kick to it! We smother our food in it! They also have Tapatio, if you prefer something milder. They have at least 3 locations. Not sure if there are more, but if you locate one near you, you should go in and give it at least one chance!
