I cald the apartment to find out if any vacancy is there. The lady who lifted the phone was so rude. She even dint listen to me what i am saying. So rude and unresponsive.

This place is the worst apartment I lived in Torrance. I moved the hell out of here after two months. I had two friends that lived here and so I checked out their place and it seemed okay. For the price, the units are pretty damn big. I give them that. And no one lived under you. The place is outdated. No dishwasher and does not come with a fridge. But the two deal breaker for me were this: the garage parking and multiple inspections. It was those manual garage where you have to open and close yourself every time. I lived at left units so they would not like you park anywhere besides in the garage. Even if there is a shit ton of parking in the front, nope. Got to park in the garage. They had two cars park in the garage except when two cars are parked there, THEREISBARELYANYSPACE. I complained to the manager three times but she basically told me that it was enough space. I uploaded some pictures of how close my car was too the wall and how much space I had between the next car and mine. Even my friends who would come over would wonder how I got in and out of the space. Next deal breaker: they came in to inspect like 4 times in a row. Not once, not twice, not three but FOURTIMES. I do not see why the apartment has to come in so many times. I’ve lived in 4 separate apartments in Torrance and NONE had come in for inspection while I was living there.

This place is pretty cool. The apartments are sort of townhouse/condo like as each unit is a sort of house(front part is more house-like and has a 3 bedroom apartment… the middle back part is a 2 bedroom apartment and the top part has two 1 bedroom apartments). I’ve lived in the 2 and 1 bedroom apts there… I’ve moved twice while there for various reasons so generally I’ve lived there 3 times… most of my childhood was spent here. It’s nice that you get garage parking however it’s sort of annoying that with the higher prices and incomes of the area, Palm Terrace became progressively more crowded because everyone has at least 2 cars(except me o’ course lol) and so they park on the mini street that’s part of the apartment complex.(It’s sort of like a cul-de-sac.) Lots of kids around here, at least when I was there, and plenty of kids to play with. Halloween is good since you can get a lot of candy from a small area. The 1 bedroom apts are a bit small but cozy. 2 bedroom are okay sized. The kitchen is a bit small. Be careful for some douche neighbors. I think this one lady still lives there… her daughter’s name is Francisca… my mom parked on the street in front of her«house» and the biatch claimed it was«her» spot(since when did apartments, or houses own part of the street?) so she pulled up to my mom and slammed her door open such that my mom’s car got dented! Man, retarded. I’m sure she’s still living there tho. I think I’ve seen her son’s car around the neighborhood still(I now live a few blocks away from Palm Terrace). My dad(he lived there separately b/c he was divorced from my mom), may he rest in peace, also had problems with some people with some noisy dogs and other noisy neighbors. Loler one time he fought them by blasting the Spanish Radio station outside his room, loler. I also remember this one guy’s dog(the dog’s prob. dead by now, who knows) which was a boxer named Zeus. Huge ass dog that dude«walked”/biked with no leash. My neighbor friend and I were so scared of him… what a freaky huge dog. This place used to be cheap in comparison to everywhere else… now it seems moderate in comparison but of course this means expensive because the area has exponentially increased in rent. Really annoying. I may have to move to the boondocks or Compton, assuming the pay my mom and I get don’t decrease by going there.
