Puppies and Reptiles for Parties

Your group took puppies to my daughter’s (all girl) high school in Pasadena to help them relieve stress the week before finals. It was a GREAT success. My daughter was thrilled that a mama and her pup curled up in her lap and she felt the stress melt away. Pups seemed happy and healthy. Great fun!

I can’t begin to tell you how impressed I was with puppies and reptiles. We were super excited to have puppies and we were NOT disappointed! On time, friendly and accommodating. A dream to work with and the puppies were SO DARN CUTE!!! All the kids at the party were THRILLED!!! And even I came home with paw prints on my shirt THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for everything!

Such a great business — Jullian was our reptile handler and was incredibly knowledgeable about the animals. The animals were AWESOME and people absolutely loved them on a college campus. Highly recommend.

My Daughter and her friends had THE best time. I think one of the puppies is going to have a home and someone else wanted a job. What a great experience!

I was at a puppy party recently and I just can’t agree with what this company is doing. They are booked for more than one party a day, being crammed in tiny cages, handled by only one employee, being transported all day. I just don’t see these dogs having good lives, please don’t support this.

As a preschool owner/​director in Huntington Beach for over 34 years, I have hired a multitude of educational guests. I would put Puppies and Reptiles for Parties at the top of my list. We have used their service for several years and they never disappoint. In fact, our Puppy Day is a highlight each year for children and staff. The puppies are healthy, clean, energetic, and adorable! They always send a friendly, experienced handler who keeps the event running smoothly. She encourages the children to pet and play with the cuddly puppies. We post photos of the puppy event on our Facebook page and it’s always a huge hit with parents. Several of our families have hired Puppies and Reptiles for birthday parties and their experience has always been positive. If you hire Puppies and Reptiles, you will have a memorable celebration and your guests will be impressed with your ability to plan the perfect party!

I initially hired another company (not reptiles) for entertainment at my son’s 3^rd birthday party. 4 days before his birthday party the other vendor cancelled. I was annoyed and left to try and find a last minute vendor to provide entertainment.
Here come Puppies and Reptiles for Parties to save the day! I called and spoke with Virgil. They were available for the day and time I needed them. So I booked them over the phone.
Come Saturday, Julian showed up on time, set up and was ready to go. I had a fairly large crowd and he managed to keep everyone engaged, provided so much knowledge and was very patient with both children and adults. I commend his professionalism throughout and his ability to manage such a large group. Julian is amazing! The reptiles kept getting better and better as the show went on.
Needless to say, this was a HUGE hit. I’ve had several friends call me to tell me their kids are still talking about the reptile show. It was amazing and my son’s birthday party was a huge success. I can’t thank them enough.
Can’t wait for the next party to book them again!

Oh my goodness. Cuteness overload for the complete win. I had this party when I was 8 and over 20 years later at age 26 I decided to do it again. It was an absolute blast. The puppies were fantastic and it was a great way to feel good about the day. EVERYONE was in such a good mood when they saw the puppies and that mood carried out even after the puppies left. It was quite a reasonable price for 2hours and it was just the right amount of time with he puppies. Although I did have one or two friends who cried when the dogs left. hehe. It was overall one of my best birthdays and very enjoyable! I would highly recommend this to anyone and everyone.

I really regret booking them. It was overall a waste of money and their animals were very visibly frightened and upset.

We hired this company to bring puppies to my daughters 4^th birthday. They were absolutely a hit! My daughter was so happy and it was just the cutest party idea. I would highly recommend this company.

I have been using Puppies and Reptiles for children’s parties and school presentations for years, I think since the first year they were in business. Puppies are always clean and smell nice. Have never had a problem with the staff that comes with them Virgil is always a pleasure to deal with and I look forward to having them every year! If I could keep a puppy I would Am seriously considering booking them for my own birthday! The children LOVE LOVE LOVE the puppies. Have also gotten the Reptiles and they are always a hit. Kids love touching snakes and looking at giant hissing bug things!

Booked the puppies party for my daughter’s birthday — everyone loved it! Emma, the lady in charge, arrived early to set up and was wonderful with kids. All puppies were happy, clean and looked healthy. There were 14 kids ages 2 to 8, none of them cared about other entertainment we invited. They were all inside the enclosure playing with puppies for the entire 2 hours! At one point one of the puppies had to do #1 right next to my daughter’s birthday dress — before i could open my mouth and scream NNNOOOOOOOOO — Emma squirted the puddle with disinfectant and wiped it off !
Great service, I would recommend to everyone looking for this particular kind of entertainment.

I’ve worked for this company for about a year and I enjoyed it. The family are all nice ppl. They are always home. The animals get human attention EVERYDAY. Dog homes as well as reptiles get cleaned everyday. They have access to food and water ²⁴⁄₇. They don’t sit in filth like some strangers claim. Animal control comes and checks EVERY THING. If something needs to get fixed, it does asap. The animals get vet care and have shots. The party ppl are all nice and enjoy doing their job. So all those ppl that comment negatively are wrong. Enjoy your future parties and puppies.

Just had my granddaughter’s 8^th birthday party at my house yesterday. Beth brought about 15 reptiles. ALL the kids (about 25) and ALL the adults just loved ALL of the reptiles. As each animal comes out it gets better and better. Beth was great with the kids and we all thought her presentation was very educational and fun. I would highly recommend this company and Beth was wonderful

Most adorable experience ever. Seriously.
Obviously, I’m talking about my experience with the pups. But hey, if your thing is reptiles, then good for you.
Bf is crazy over puppies. Yup. All the bf ever wanted was a puppy party. He wanted a whole group of puppies all to himself, engulfed in their cuteness. So I was on the mission to surprise him and invite some very cuddly friends for his bday.
PLANNING:
I was surprised that it took me a while to find a company that did this. Apparently, Puppies and Reptiles are the only company in the So Cal area that host puppy parties. Pleasantly surprised that they’re located in the South Bay area, since the event location was going to be there.
I chose to do the puppy party for an hour. For that glorious hour, you get 10 puppies ready to just melt your heart.
Puppies and Reptiles were pretty accommodating, I have to say, and I’m so thankful for it. The event location was outdoors, in December, and I was seriously doubting the weather (first a rainy forecast, sunny forecast, cats and dogs forecast. I hate you, forecast). So when I contacted them, apologizing that there may be another location (as a back up), they understood. Luckily, and as usual, the rainy forecast was wrong, and it was sunny, and my initial location worked great.
The week of the event, I get a call from Pups and Reps just confirming that the event is still on, and if I needed anything else to give them a call. Love the gesture.
SET UP:
Pup extraordinaire Shannon and her pups arrived 15 minutes before the event to set up. Shannon placed a tarp on the grass and set up the pen. Then she let the puppies loose! Gah, just cuteness all around. She brought some puppy toys, snacks and blankies for props. Once that was done, we had a whole glorious and unforgettable hour with the pups. Seriously, it was the best.
HOUR:
Since it was a small get together (party of 4), an hour with the pups was certainly enough… even though it was kinda hard to see them go. Shannon was there through it all, cleaning up after the pups and answering all the questions we had about the pups. As it was an outdoor area, we had some people walk up to the pen and ooh and ahhhed at the puppies. Who wouldn’t!?? And, of course, the bf was in the pen playing with the puppies the whole time.
OVERALL:
Great experience! Loved it. Bf was floored. He still can’t believe it actually happened and the memory of it all just brings a smile to his face. Worth it.
TIPS:
— Depending on the location, there may be a traveling fee. Since my location was in their area, I did not have that fee added.
— Ask the pup extraordinaire questions! It’s part of the experience. I loved how Shannon told us about the pups’ personalities, whether it was their first time doing a puppy party, etc. It was all very interesting.
–Take a bunch of pictures and videos. You definitely want to record this, so that in the future, you can whip out your photo album and say, «I hung out with puppies. Here’s proof.»

The puppies are adorable and the reptiles are really friendly and cool. Worth checking out for your next birthday or event.
