After buying several $ 100 boots for work and switching to Red Wings my back and feet feel the difference. As the years pass and retirement is still a ways off, I know I will continue to invest in some great work boots. Actually, my first made in the USA pair was gifted. People change but the quality of USA made boots don’t.
Red Wing offers a variety of boots and accessories. They have boots made «not» in the USA and boots MADE in the USA. It’s up to your pocket to choose what’s best for you. Then again, it’s up to your social economic consciousness and recognizing great craftsmanship in what’s best for you.
Choosing the right sole for your line of industry is important or surface you are walking on. So, make sure to ask. Also, some boots are eligible to be resoled and others are not. Resoling your boots is a fraction of the cost of a new pair of boots and that can help making a decision in your initial purchase.
The Red Wing Shoe Store is great! They give out free boot laces, and also condition the boots for free whenever you drop them off. Usually it takes a few minutes to do if they are not busy. They also sell boot products like mink oil and boot conditioning to DIY at home.
I will definitely return and do business with Red Wing. It’s definitely a great investment.

Went in to get some socks for my husband, never been to this location, but was in the area. Kelly was a total jerk! He looked annoyed when I came in, and only had one other person in the store. Maybe he was having a bad day, but he was rude and impatient, and I walked out without buying anything after his rude response to a simple question. Will not return to this location.

Great little store with really nice shoes that will keep your toes connected to your feet! Knowledgeable staff and the Red Wing name says it all. You get great shoes that will put up with a lot. Made in the US and backed by an amazing warranty.
Yes, they cost a bit more than other work shoes but they’re worth it and the quality justifies it.

Came in on a Sunday and Kelly was great about suggesting styles and was incredibly knowledgable about each shoe. Came back today with the man to buy him his birthday present. Kelly helped us out again (yay!), fitted him, shared more red wing knowledge and walked out the door with his «best birthday present ever» Thanks for making a $ 300 purchase well worth it. You rock Kelly!

Took these back to red wing to have the upper straightened out because it was sewn on crooked they told me it was straight! Seriously horrible customer service when you drop 250 on boots. Red wing is garbage don’t buy in to there made in America bull shit save your money buy anything but these china made shitty boots

A few weeks ago at 6p on a Sunday I visited the store to buy a pair of work boots, and received the worst service on record. The «salesman» didn’t pay attention to me, didn’t listen to the questions I had, told me I was wrong when I said what size I wear in men’s and worst of all he put somebody on the computer when they were there to just buy insoles! If he had helped me properly then all of my questions would have been answered with the machine.
I have never been so incensed on a shopping trip, especially when I was willing to drop $ 250 on a pair of shoes. After hearing him tell the insole guy about his «high arches,» I put on my shoes, picked up my purse, and walked over to him. I explained how infuriated I was, that he should have put me on the computer from the beginning, and then I walked out.
I will NEVER go back to this store, and I’m not sure if I want to go to another Red Wings store at all. If this guy is employed there that concerns me with what other employees may be like. If they’re anything like him they won’t be of any help either.

My husband has been buying Red Wings Boots for many years. In fact, when you purchase shoes, they keep your size and purchase on file so you can just have them find your new boots for you.
The quality of their boots is great. When you wear out the soles, you can pay to get them re-​soled as long as the tops are not torn.
The salespeople were very friendly and helpful today. If you belong to a Union, you may get a discount.

My husband bought shoes here about 2 years ago and the sole recently cracked while he was at work. We took them back (with no receipt) expecting them to say ‘sorry, no returns/​exchanges with no receipt and it’s been 2 years since purchase’.
To our surprise Tracey explained that the shoes are not supposed to crack like that and she brought out a brand new pair and said ‘all I need is 38 cents to cover the sales tax.’. AMAZING!!! What great customer service!
We were so satisfied I bought a pair of the woman’s work shoes. I’ve been wearing them for about a week now and they’re great! I love my new Red Wings!!! The shoes were 100 bucks but totally worth it. I work inside/​outside so I need shoes that look nice but can stand to walk through dirt, mud, water, etc.
Red Wings are my new go-​to work shoes!

Got exactly what I was looking for when I went here! Great work shoes. The guy that worked there was very informative and answered all my questions. He even measured my feet and that hasn’t been offered to me since I was a kid. The shoes are pricy but I’m sure they’ll pay off in the long run. My feet are important to me so I needed to stop buying the cheap shoes and coming here was perfect.
