Just want to tell everyone that Dr Nooshin Noghreian was absolutely AMAZING!!!
Never had a tooth ache like I did today and WOW, she knocked it out faster then I could say HELP! She’s funny, empathetic, and so sweet! And of course her team was just as amazing.
Ever need a root canal, I genuinely recommend this office from the bottom of my heart!

I am a working professional woman who saw Ramin Noghreian DDS because my general dentist said I need a root canal. I waited 2 hours; 1 hour in waiting room and 1 hour in chair. I brought my own X-​Rays. His behavior was Passive-​Aggressive and a total waste of time. I do not recommend him!
I always have a lot of pain after dental work. I asked him about antibiotics and pain medication that he would be writing me. It is best to be prepared. One dentist I went to ran out of prescription pads and could not write a prescription for pain pills; then suggested I go to the emergency room. That was a nightmare. I usually get infections too.
The minute I mentioned Percocet he got all quiet… Instead of having a CONVERSATION with me. he got all iffy if I needed a root canal or not, wrote some dishonest ambiguous report for my general dentist and sent me RIGHT out the door. My general dentist said he has seen these before when a dentist does not want to do the work.
His behavior implied I go to dentists just to get a prescription for pain pills. I am not a drug addict. It was insulting. I dislike dental work more than anything. If I wanted pain pills, I absolutely would not suffer dental work to get them.
He could have said ‘Why do you want that?’ or ‘I don’t give that out’ or ‘You only need Motrin for this’ or anything? He was completely unprofessional. Instead gave me double talk about what I needed done. I could have had my root canal done and been out the door if I choose a dentist without issues. We’re both grown-​ups so let’s have a conversation.
They billed $ 100 to my insurance company for this! I got off work early to sit and wait and be treated like a drug addict. Truly a weird experience… (they later agreed to waive fee from insurance company after 2 calls I made to the office manager).
On the bright side, they do have free bottled water and heated blankets so you can be comfortable while you’re wasting your time, being judged, and given a null diagnosis.
After this confusion I went to a reputable ‘real’ 5-​star Unilocal dentist who said Yes; I do need a root canal, steroids work better for the pain but if I still needed pain pills he would write them. That is called communication. This consultation took less than 15 minutes. Oh and they had ICED fruit flavored water!

After the fiasco at another endodontist’s office (Rootvision Endo in Torrance), I went to my trusty Unilocal app to find another one in the area. I found Doctors Ramin and Nooshin Noghreian. When I called and spoke to the receptionist Sylvia, I was mad, aggravated, irritated, in EMERGENT, earth shattering pain, and could hardly talk. She was very patient with me and immediately scheduled me for the next day. I COULDN’T WAIT to get into the office and be seen!
The office is located right on 242^nd Street, off of Hawthorne and Pacific Coast Highway. I found the office nice and easy and there was plenty of parking in the lot and on the street, as other Unilocalers had stated. The office is located on the outside, just to the right of the parking lot. Walking in, the office is beautiful. Lovely hardwood floors, nicely decorated in a calming manner (boy do I need that right now!), and most importantly, it doesn’t smell like the usual medicinal dental office. They have a TV playing some gorgeous views of the ocean, a calming fountain in the corner, free wifi and water, not to mention free lip balm! Where have you ever seen that?
Even though the lobby is small, don’t let that fool you… it’s huge in the back! They have several examination rooms and they are nicely decorated. They also have a TV right in front of the examination chair. During treatment, you also have the option to receive a fleece blanket (which I took advantage of… two please!), extra pillows, an IPod, and warm towels… they call it «The Comfort Menu!» How cute!
Nooshin, who is the female doctor of this brother and sister duo was simply AAAAHHHMAZZZINGGGGGGG!!! Words cannot describe the delight that I felt once I met her. I felt like and untrusting abused pet at the other endodontist’s office and Dr. Nooshin knew that. First and foremost, they are not all about the money. They told me that they don’t bill for services until after services are rendered, which makes a lot of sense, because how do you know what to bill for until it’s done? Sylvia quickly verified my insurance and they took me in right away. Dr. Nooshin already knew what I had been through at the other facility and came in asking me about it, with a look of disbelief on her face. She looked in my mouth and said that there was no way that I’d last the weekend, as the other endodontist office suggested I make another appointment next week! I was actually surprised and elated that she already knew the situation. She started on me right away. They leaned the chair back and I was surprised to see a tile ceiling square that had a forest scene… as if you were looking up to the sky through trees. They gave me an IPod and I started playing music to drown out everything happening around me. She quickly numbed me and she went right to the exact spot, because I could feel the sharp pain shoot through my cheek and lips, which told me that she was in the right place.
I was there for maybe two hours… whatever time it was, it was past closing time and she still didn’t rush me. She took her time, BUT… she worked really fast. Do you remember those cartoons where they would move in like a fast-​forward motion? That’s how she moved and as I watched her, I instantly thought of that. She was SUPER FAST with all of those tools and there was NEVER any hesitation! She KNEW exactly what she was doing! When she finished, they gave me antibiotics and pain medication (I only wanted motrin. I have a high pain tolerance) and I went home. I waited at home for the numbness to wear off and the unbearable pain to start, but it never did. On a scale of 1 to 10, my pain never reached a 4 or 5. She even called me that evening to check on me and they also made me a follow-​up appointment for 6 months from now, to check it!
I cracked my tooth in Honduras and I was beyond PISSED, because let’s face it… who wants to seek medical treatment in another country, especially on an island with minimal everything? So when I got back to the states and was told that I was going to need a root canal (my first), I was beside myself, behind myself, under myself… you name it! Rootvision Endo was a HORRIBLE experience and I am thankful that I found Dr. Nooshin to help me! Even my dentist said they were going to start referring patients to her instead of the other facility that they sent me to. Besides being a doctor, she treats her patients like human beings and for that alone, I will always go to her (let’s hope not anytime soon) and refer others to her! I wish she was a regular dentist! :)

I had a a ski accident, where the ski sliced my mouth and took out 3.5 teeth. After 3 root canals, unfortunately, 2 had to be completely taken out for implants. However, I have had root canals before with Dr. Singer (weird guy that’s ALL about the $$$$$)
Was thrilled to try someone else. Cannot say enough great things about Dr. Nooshin. She is kind, gentle, funny and caring. Calls to check in on you, thorough and all around made it a comfortable (if you have to do it…) environment.

If you are ever in the need of endodontics, you can’t go wrong with this office. Dr. Nooshin is awesome in what she does, and always asking if you are comfortable. As much as I would love to stay away from this type of service, I will continue coming into this office if necessary.

Wow … outstanding care, my Dr. called me the next morning to see how I was doing. It’s so nice to feel validated and valued. The staff, too, is knowledgeable and understands patient concerns.
The office is easy to find, in a nice building and quiet, with complementary water and chapstick. Other professionals could learn much from the way patients are treated here.

Dr Nooshin is amazing .She is very gentle and caring. I had the second root canal today I would say don’t wait just come to this office and no surprise bills, friendly staff what do you expect more

South Bay Endodontics has a 5 star staff, from the front office, to the assistants, and the endodontists! I cannot emphasize enough what a great team they are! Dr. Nooshin took care of my root canal and did such a wonderful job! Believe it or not, I was comfortable the entire time! You can really tell Dr. Nooshin is passionate about her profession and takes the time to make sure her patients are comfortable and well taken care of. Just a top notch operation. Complete professionals and some of the nicest people you can meet. I love the way Dr Nooshin explained everything, then put me at ease. She loves what she does and it shows. Turned a root canal into an experience no different than getting a tooth filling. Allison the RN was equally amazing. I really can’t rave enough. Not to mention, I’m actually compelled to go online and rate dental work. Go figure. But, they deserve it.

After a night from hell and in excruciating pain, I arrived at South Bay Endodontics in great distress.
My dentist, Dr Oates (Hermosa Smiles in Hermosa Bch) called South Bay Endo to help and I was grateful they were able to see me immediately.
From the moment I arrived I was cared for in the best way by the front staff and the nurses who were efficient and very gentle. The entire office felt warm and friendly.
The insurance stuff was done quickly and I was ushered into a nice room with blankets and an ipod.
Dr Noghreian came in soon after and his caring and open manner helped allay my fears right away.
I knew from my dentist that Dr N has an excellent reputation and it was a huge relief that he was able to explain the root canal procedure (this was my first), answer my questions and let me know sincerely that everything was going to be better.
(He also explained that my dentist would need to put the final permanent crown on the following week — and all this happened exactly as described without any problems.)
Needless to say Dr Noghreian did an excellent job on a tricky cracked tooth and I am all better as promised. Wonderful Doctor and staff!

Had to have a root canal a few months ago. I was terrified of the procedure and waited till the last possible minute to do it. I was so anxious, i had to have treatment done under sedation. Never once did i feel like they were looking at me like «what a baby» or anything like that. They diagnosed my tooth and treated the same day. This is an experience i’ll never forget! Drs. Ramin and Nooshin Noghreian are amazing!
Yes, there are many endodontists to choose from, but i know a practice that has been established this long must be doing something right!

This is my second time dealing with this team of amazing doctors. Not only are they extremely competent but also pleasant, fun, and caring!
the first time in 2009 Dr Nooshin was greatly skilled to drill thru and achieved the root canal without damaging the new crown. This time Dr Ramin worked on my wisdom tooth. Not an easy task! He managed to joke and make me comfortable. their staff provided me with a soft blanket and an iPod to relax me and cover the drilling noise!
The next day, Dr R. Noghreian kindly called to check on me and see how my recovery and pain was!
Their office is modern, clean and their staff very friendly and accommodating!
I recommend them to any one with doubts! You will be in good hands for sure!
I just hope you have good insurance as these procedures can be pricey!

I was highly recommended to these doctors, I have had a pain in my front tooth for some time and nothing was helping it, so I went. Dr. Nooshin (female) took an x-​ray but could not find anything wrong the front tooth in question, she had me wait a few weeks then come back for another check; but the ache in my tooth did not go away — so she recommended I move forward with the root canal on my front tooth and said that the ache would then go away. So, I proceeded with the root canal but after the Novocain wore off, there seemed to be a different pain at the very root of my tooth. I brought it to her attention (I thought she did not get all the root) — the x-​rays showed no problem with the root canal, but there is still much pain in the root of my tooth! The root canal did not solve my problem, it only made a different problem but now with a weak and feeble tooth because of the root canal. As time went on, I discovered Sensodyne toothpaste, after brushing just once, I notice a HUGE difference in the ache in my tooth… I was never told not once to try this toothpaste. Had they suggested this, I may have saved my tooth from a root canal! Not to mention, this tooth had a crown on it — they cracked the crown while drilling through it! They are good doctors but I am somewhat disappointed.

I don’t know if I annoy her or amuse her but no matter what… going to have a root canal is NOT a good day.
I went this morning to root canal number 2 with Dr. Noghreian. My regular dentist Dr. Firshein
sent me to this office because I have tricky roots and he thought a specialist would be best.
This office has two endodontists. Dr. Nooshin Noghreian and Dr. Ramin Noghreian they are brother and sister.
Thanks to my 1970’s dental work and probably genetics I have had to have about 6 root canals and I have to say that Dr. Nooshin Noghreian did a great job of keeping me comfortable. She uses a microscope that really helps aid seeing where she is working.
Bring your ipod it really helps too!
