Dr. Steve Tassone has been gently treating patients for 20 years. He is dedicated to providing you with the highest level of cosmetic dentistry available while maintaining patient comfort.

Dr. Tassone is a graduate of University of Southern California, a school which has an ongoing tradition of excellence in dentistry. He is committed to continuing his education, such as being an Alumnus of LVI Center for advanced Cosmetic Dentistry (www​.lvi​den​tist​.com) and recently completing Invisalign Certification.(invisible braces)(www.invisalign.com)

Dr. Tassone is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and the Western Los Angeles Dental Society.

Best dental experience EVER — went in for an exam/​cleaning, update on oral health, & looking to find a permanent dentist
1. Location — Easy to find and plenty of free, close parking
2. Environment — Clean & spacious with cute décor
3. Staff — Very professional, friendly, & polite. I was put at ease as soon as I walked in. Every staff member that I interacted with introduced themselves and were really concerned about my comfort & knowing information about my teeth. Every other dental office I’ve been to, I just come in & get whatever work done, not here — they really make you feel welcome & prepared to meet Dr. Tassone
4. Dr. Tassone — So nice & provides you with alot of information about your teeth instead of just telling you problems. Have to get two root canals :(, but he made me feel really content/​confident about fixing my problems & helping me upgrade my oral health
5. $$$ — I’m lucky to have insurance so of course my costs are lower BUT I was given SEVERAL options of payment from Dr. Tassone himself and staff
Basically think I found my new dental office and dentist :)

I have been faithfully coming here for the past six years and couldn’t be happier! Really enjoying the new digs with Dr. Tassone, Michelle the legendary office manager and of course my absolute favorite Carmen my hygienist.
She cleans and inspects my teeth better than anyone in the business and handles a full mouth X-​ray with as little discomfort as possible.
They just moved from their old facility and are now staffed with a whopping none treatment rooms, ranging from basic cleanings to full oral reconstruction, caps, crowns, etc. Dr. Tassone also has an elite lineup of specialists for whatever additional needs you might have.
So if you’re looking for a great dentist and moreover staff, look no further, this is where you want to be!

I don’t have insurance any more so I was happy to take advantage of a new patient special they advertised. The office is lovely, but Im starting to care less and less about those things. They staff is stellar and professional. The services were SUPER thorough and kind. A seriously pleasant experience. Im super into health, but going to the dentist can be such an intimidating experience. They totally softened the blow. I will be back within 6 mos! I really liked them.

Very unorganized and unprofessional. I came here after a long time of not going to the dentist and with a recommendation from my mothers friend, I had good hopes for a new dentist. After going through multiple days and HOURS from appointments, there was the last time where I had the worst experience at a dentists ever. One of the employees looked at me and said they were ready for me (I was the only one in the room). I go into the chair and get numbed for my cavity which didn’t seem all that strong. THE RUDE LADY DIDNT LOOK AT MY FILE, and almost continued to work on me when they realized they gave me the wrong numbing for the elementary school girl in the other room who was about to get MY (adult) numbing. At the end, the person working on me and the people at the desk were blaming me and saying it was my fault for them not checking the file. Don’t go here, I’m still traumatized of the dentist after coming here and just recently found somewhere new and EXCELLENT and PROFESSIONAL.

Ive been seeing Dr Tassone since 2008. In that time he and his staff have done a number of major and minor procedures on my teeth. I find his approach and technique to be extremely competent. I never worry about his diagnosis or feel like I have to second guess him. He’s saved my teeth on more than one occasion. He also did the veneers on my wife and totally transformed her smile. I recommend. Five stars.

Great staff, quick service. I needed to see a dentist ASAP and called dr. Tassone office. They took me right away. Dr Tassone check my wisdom teeth and refer me to a specialist to pull it out. The staff even email my X-​ray to the specialist for faster service. Thank you for a great service

I have been a patient of Dr. Tassone’s at New Smiles Dentistry for over 10 years now and have never been less than completely satisfied. Both Dr. Tassone and his staff are friendly and professional at the same time. What I like about going to this office is that they care about you as a patient and your comfort is of upmost importance to them at all times. I love the fact that they communicate with you during a procedure so that you know what to expect and there are no surprises. Blankets, iPods, and googles are provided so that you can be comfortable. It’s those little touches that go a long way to make your visit as pleasant as possible. I would highly recommend this office to others.

Dr. Tassone and all of his staff are so welcoming and make you feel at ease whenever you visit. For a regular check up or a major root canal, I always feel comfortable with Steve’s detailed explanation of what is happening. He even takes the time to go over my x ray and show pictures of my broken tooth that needed a crown. I have been going to him for several years and I would recommend him to anyone. His hygienist, Carmen is also my favorite! Most recently, he did veneers for me and my boyfriend. I get compliments on my smile almost every week! Thanks New Smiles Dentistry! We love you guys!

Wow. I am blown away impressed. Talk about the kindness of strangers. I have a tooth that has been bothering me, went to my dentist who informed me the tooth needed a root canal, and referred me to an endodontist. Unfortunately, that endodontist is not in my insurance network, and finances dictate that I must stick within my insurance provider network. The pain intensified in the past couple days. This morning I panic called Dr. Tassone’s New Smiles office. They had me come in without an appointment. They did a set of x-​rays, and Dr. Tassone consulted with me, and although he does a lot of root canals himself, felt my particular root canal required an endodontist, referred me to and set up an appointment for an endodontist within my network this coming Monday. He also gave me a prescription to control the infection and pain in the meantime. How much did all this cost me…$ 0…and I’m not even one of his patients, I never met him until this morning. There should be a category with six stars for this kind of treatment and kindness.

I can’t believe I am giving any dentist 5 stars after a complicated root canal, which by nature just isn’t pleasant. That said, Dr. Tassone deserves the highest rating. He made a very long, multiple visit redo of a failed root canal (done by previous dentist) as comfortable and pain free as possible. And I have full confidence in the quality and diligence of his work. He also took me on time and focused all of his attention on my procedure.
Not only is he nice and very concerned for his patients while they are in the office, on 3 separate visits he followed up that evening with a personal phone call to see how I was doing and welcomes calls for any questions or concerns. I highly recommend Dr. Tassone to anyone looking for an experienced, kind and high-​quality dentist.

I went because I had a cavity, turn out I had two and like seven cavities to fill out. I’m a cash patient so he gave me a reasonable price. i was happy with all the work he did and the staff ladies there are really nice ladies. They make you fell comfortable and they are very attentive with all the process. I had two jobs to get done with my teeth and these people don’t push you at all to get the work done right away. They let me decide when to have it done and come back at my own convenience. I was very happy with all the work he did.

Dr Tassone and his staff are great! I really feel like he cares about the well being of my teeth and my health. I knew I needed some major work done for my severe cross-​bite, but hadn’t felt the other dentists I met with wanted to give me a long term solution. Dr Tassone took the time to explain exactly how the Invisalign would correct my bite and the health of my teeth. I’m already seeing progress and my smile looks so much better! And I can make reasonable monthly the payments interest-​free!

The entire staff is outstanding and Dr. Tassone is a fantastic dentist! Very honest and caring and highly skilled. The customer care is first rate. They even provide head phones and an ipod to listen to while he is working on you. Carmen, my hygienist, is also awesome! Highly recommended!

Recommend this guy and his awesome staff to anybody and everybody. Best Dentist I have ever been to and I am not the only one in town saying that.
Dr. Tassone does excellent work and could not care more about his patients. What I like most is that he has taken the time to educate me on the work he does before he does it. He is incredibly honest and always makes sure that you are comfortable no matter how severe the work is. Going to the dentist sucks, but it sucks way less at Dr. Tassone’s office.

I had not been to the dentist in about six years. I was pretty nervous. Dr. Tassone and his staff were great. They were very warm and friendly and very gentle, which is great for a big baby like me. I had a full dental exam with lots of xrays and a cleaning. The whole experience was relaxing and I even made my next cleaning appt for 6 months. With a dentist like this I dont mind going regularly again. I would recommend them to anyone!
