Steven Davis, MD – Breathe Clear Institute

Dr. Davis did my tonsillectomy a couple weeks ago and the surgery went VERY WELL. I have been coming to his office for a couple years now and the staff is always very friendly and the P. A’s are amazing. Erin really prepped me before my surgery and was very explicit in letting me know what to except. Because of that, my recovery period after my surgery went very smoothly. I absolutely recommend going to this doctors office, especially if you’re in need of a tonsillectomy!

Amrita Desai, PA (Physician Assistant) has been great. I’ve been treated by her since November for an ear infection with complications. She has the best bed side manners and takes the to evaluate the situation. She is efficient and never curt. She listens and is refreshing.

Very impressed with this place. I’ve dealt with sinus issues for a few years now but back in January I was sick and lost my sense of smell. We’re still working to figure out what the cause is but I’m so impressed I had to review early. Stacey did my allergy test and she was so great! So friendly and very informative. Fingers crossed we figure this out soon but I highly recommend this place.

When I look at the reviews for this office, I’m not surprised that they are 5 Stars. First time in my life, I can visit a Doctor’s office without apprehension. Everything about this office is terrific and the amazing staff is just the icing on the cake. They are truly so neat, friendly and eager to help. After double ear infections, perforated ear drums and needing a specialist, I ended up in this office, which was so lucky for me. I have been under the care of Dr. Davis’ PA, Amrida for many weeks. She is knowledgeable, caring, sympathetic, understanding and beyond special in so many ways. She is truly wonderful and has turned my ear problems around. She has been unwilling to give up on finding the reason for my problems. I thank my lucky stars for her and she has my highest recommendation. So, thanks for Dr. Davis, the staff and especially Amrida. If you need an ENT, don’t hesitate to call them. It’s so worth it. Linda A.

I have been a patient since 2008 and my experience has been AMAZING! Dr. Davis and his entire staff are so helpful. My allergies have been getting worst each year. I have chronic allergies, no joke. Stacie had never seen such a thing, she even took pictures. I still don’t know how I was living like that. I got allergy drops and turbinate surgery. It has only been 2 months and my life has changed drastically. I can sleep, run and smell. Since I can smell I have became the inspector at work. I actually spotted a strange smell at work which was a leaking compressor. I was able to prevent a disaster at work! I usually don’t write reviews but this change of life truly deserved it. Any one who has any allergies, sinus problems and/​or issues with ears should go see Dr. Davis, I highly recommend him.

Dr. Davis is awesome, no complaints about his work at all ! Reason I’m rating only 3 stars is because the wait time is always a MINIMUM of ONE HOUR, which is SO annoying and rude to the patients.
They need to work on their scheduling times so patients to have to wait around forever!

Best doctor and staff ever.
I’ve had problems with my health insurance over the course of a couple years and they helped me through all of it! Always calling to check in with me to make sure I knew where we were at in the process.

Excellent doctor. I went in with a bad ear infection after seeing another doctor and Dr. Davis was able to help me out. He was very patient and thorough. His Nurse Practitioner as well as his staff are great too!
The only down side is that he is often very booked up (however, I would not take off a star for that because it just shows how good he is!)

Well today my 2 year old daughter, Gianella had her eartubes put in by Dr Davis. I’m back to review once again. We had a great experience today with Dr Davis & the staff at the Torrance Surgery Center. I will have to admit I was nervous for my Lil girl. But the staff was so efficient, friendly & knowledgeable that we had an awesome experience. The nurses were very attentive & so was Dr Davis. Later on today received a follow up message from Dr Davis to check on how my daughter was doing. Quite frankly you don’t see that too often from the doctors lately. Dr Davis makes you feel like a patient not a number. Thank you Dr Davis

I have had sinus infections for years, can’t tell you how many trips to my GP, here take this, no take this, visits to the drop ins. Found DR. Davis and his wonderful staff doing a Unilocal search, thank you, I came in with a bad sinus infection, they got me on a antibiotic, some sprays and good old nelly pot flush, I had the ballon treatment done, why did I wait so long, thank you to all the staff with the follows ups too.

Who here has ever had earbuds actually get dislodged in your ear?! OH OH!!! ME! ME! Yes Its true! I was at work listening to my tunes and decided to push the buds deep in the ear. As I pull them out… I get the sound of a earbud tip being left in my ear! So being the MAN that I am with my Male coworkers what do we do?!! OF COURSE THE ONLY LOGICAL THING… Grab some pliers attempting to get the bud and push it further into the ear until it reaches the point of no return! Now that the back story has been laid lets get to the business at hand.
In order to get professional advise I first turned to the powers that are Google… «What to do if earbuds get stuck in ear» Google directs me NOT to an emergency room but to seek a ear specialist… I turn to my UnilocalER-​PEERS to help me… and who pops up Dr. Steven E Davis’ office.
Now with my right side of my face going numb because the earbud is so deep i make the call at around 4:00pm praying that they will take me.
Shay, who answers informs me (after joking around with me that NO I CANT USE THE VACCUM CLEANER TO GET THE BUDS OUT (it was my idea, she was joking but I was very serious :))) that they are booked up but can see me tomorrow. Dang! But she was super cool so I took the appointment.
After the longest night EVER (and me attempting other man ways of attempting to get this dang bud out my ear) I make it to my appointment.
The entire staff here made me feel great they are all super cool and got me in-​processed and ready to go.
Then in comes the Physician Assistant to Dr. Steven, Erin.
Now this Lady is AMAZING, she makes you feel comfortable that she knows what she’s doing and as a added bonus she is nice on the eyes LOL, Im there with my son (10 years old) and I think he falls in love with her because every time she walks out he gives me «The Look» (She’s married fellas!) !
But with a magic wave of her tweezers the NOW BLOODY ear bud was out. However she wasn’t done. She lets me know I’m eligible for a study they are doing on ears and I would be paid to be a part of the test, but i had to come back for checkups! Heck yea! So I did it!
So my review is based off of about 5 visits to the office and each time I felt exactly the same positive way about everyone.
I even was able to meet Dr. Steven once and he was awesome as well. I’m secure in my man-​hood so I can say this for the ladies out there, he’s a handsome guy as well and super cool (Don’t know if he’s married Ladies!).
All in all if you are lucky enough to get anything lodged/​DISLODGED in your ear this is your spot.
Can’t ask for more, from the front desk (SHAY) to the patients chair (Dr. Erin/​Dr. Steven), this place is Winning!

I’ve been seeing Stacy at dr Davis’ office for 5 months now. Great service, attention, and a pleasure to see every time I visit. The allergy drop therapy is awesome! Great results so far and still improving. And dr Davis is great too!

Love this office. The staff is warm and friendly and I don’t just feel like a number or a birthday. I can always get through to a real person on the phone, and the staff is very accommodating about my schedule. Dr Davis is excellent and gives you his undivided attention. I typically see his PA, Erin, and she is very thorough and also just awesome! I am so glad I found this office and would give it six stars if I could :)

They came through in an emergency appointment! Shayna was able to squeeze my husband in for a same day appt and she actually took the time to follow up the next day and texted me to see how my husband was feeling. I’ve never had a doctors office do that before! She rocks! My husband said Dr. Davis took the time to listen and is still seeking treatment with him. He also met with the PA and was very informative. We are very happy we found this office!

i awoke with blood on my pillow and deceased hearing. I was able to get a same day urgent appointment. Dr Davis’s bedside manners where nothing I’ve experienced from a doctor. it was nothing serious and he put me at ease, and his staff goes above and beyond. I would refer him to my friends and family.

I was having sinus problems that was causing me a great deal of pain around the orbit of my eye. I was loosing sleep and it was becoming a major distraction during work. I called Dr. Davis as a new patient because my previous ENT retired several years ago. After trying antibiotics and nose spray with little improvement, Dr. Davis suggest the sinus «balloon» procedure to open up my sinus so it could drain properly. After a few days the pain slowly reduced and today I have no pain.
Dr. Davis is very professional and has a great beside manner. He listens very well and always hears my concerns and answers my questions.
I am very glad the Dr. Davis is my ENT.

I was desperate to see an ENT and Dr. Davis came highly recommended. Unfortunately, I needed to see the doctor ASAP due to trapped water in my ear form a scuba dive I had done a week prior. Erin Shishidi was able to see me right away and she was excellent! I especially appreciated how she followed up with me via e-​mail after she had treated my ear infection two days before. Thank you Erin for your excellent treatment and follow up.

I have the utmost respect and appreciation for Dr. Davis and his staff and what they have done for me. I am a twenty year Paramedic in Los Angeles County and have exposure to countless Physicians and medical personnel.
A few years ago, i sustained a facial injury which had serious to critical potential. In Dr. Davis care, he showed more than the typical care of many of todays physicians. His compassion and sincere concern expressed the level of professionalism that we look for when trusting our medical care to someone. Further more, during his exam, his commitment to a thorough study detected a hidden blood and fluid pooling behind and between my septum/​sinus cavity and the brain. If he hadn’t been so meticulous the fluid, blood and pressure would have continued to build to a dangerous level. That alone convinced me that i was in the best medical care possible.
Since then, i have been to Dr. Davis office numerous times for much less serious issues and am always met with professionalism. His office and medical staff are always friendly and compassionate whether scheduling an appointment convenient for me or in greeting me upon my arrival. Yesterday was my most recent appointment and again they did all possible to accommodate my schedule and needs. In todays confusing and controversial medical care system, these people are the best.

Dr. Davis is one of the most caring Dr.‘s I have ever had. He is the only ENT I have seen who is determined to help my sinus issues improve, and I’ve seen atleast 3 others in the LA area. He did a fantastic job on my ballon sinuplasty. Recovery was a breeze because he did not «pack» my nose & he had a fantastic bed side manner. His staff is amazing. Scheduling the surgery was a breeze with Stacy, even on a super short time frame. I cant say enough great things about my experiences with Dr. Davis, Erin-​PA and the staff. He has treated my kids too. If you need a caring, professional, dedicated ENT, you should make an appointment.

I had surgery on my vocal chords in 1997 to have a vocal nodule removed and found that I had developed nodules again. I found Dr Davis through my insurance and then checked on-​line for reviews.
His staff is super friendly and professional, he has a wonderful bedside manner, and is up-​to-​date with all of the most recent medical research.
He tackled my problem from all different aspects, treating my acid-​reflux and allergies and then referring me to a speech therapist who works specifically with vocalists. He told me that surgery for nodules is no longer recommended… it can be cured with therapy and he has seen it happen.
I have returned for two follow-​ups and I am much improved, the nodules are tiny now, almost completely gone. I’m on my way!
Five stars is not high enough for Dr Davis. He is truly stellar.
