If you want a place of unique ambiance, then Taco Sinaloa does not fail. Whether it be the grimey walls, sketchy location, or the ragtag staff, this taco place holds it own for remaining true to themselves. They are not customer friendly and they could honestly care less that they arent, which only makes this place that much more authentic and chill. Just order your food and enjoy your time. In regards to food, the combo plate is recommended. For tacos: 1. Asada 2. Pescado 3. Al pastor 4. Tripitas Sidenotes/Miscellaneous: — Open 24⁄7 — Jukebox is loud, annoying, and amazing lol

Overall the price for the food was good, fast service and had Jaritos and the typical Mexican drinks, which I love. Carne Asada fries were okay, nothing special. Cheese quesadilla with carne Asada, the meat was very dry but the cheese had a good taste. Although the individual tacos were yummy, the meat was cooked well, best plate from the three that were ordered. Since its 24 hours it might taste a lot better after a night of drinking.

Tried a carne burrito this morning. It had very good taste. I read on some reviews that the customer service was bad. I must of come on a good day because they were very nice. I will go back soon!

I’ve been coming here for 10 years now, and sad to say, but the food quality has gone down dramatically. Their tacos taste nowhere near as good as they used to. Tortillas aren’t fresh, meat is tough and not as flavorful. They’ve become salsa bar NAZIS and no longer offer salsa cups or bags at the bar. You have to ask for it, and when you do, they only give you a few cups. I still love this place just for nostalgic reasons, but my new go-to is El Gallito or the taco truck on 223rd.

Ok. So a few points as to why they only received 3 stars from me. I ordered carne asada fries with everything on top and 2 soft shell carne asada tacos. So I gave the tacos to my aunt, but as far as the fries… the meat was really bland and under seasoned, the toppings were beans, onions, cilantro and cheese. The bottom of the fries were kind of soupy but I don’t know why. There wasn’t really a lot of cheese on it but I opted to not ask for more so that I could really taste the food underneath it. Overall, I wouldn’t go back to get food from there simply because it wasn’t worth me driving out of my way for soupy, under seasoned mediocre carne asada fries. This just in: So my aunt just told me when she opened her tacos up, she found a damn long ass hair on the very top! Wtf?! Those 3 stars just went down to 1! Never going back!

I had posted in a previous post that the lady behind the counter is a bit much. I must say I must have gotten her on a bad day. I’ve been back several times since my first post and the customer service is great. She never get our order wrong and will add extra meat or cheese to our order with out charging us extra. I could eat here weekly and never get tired of the menu.

Sketchy, but delicious. Seriously, this place makes some of the best Mexican food around for such a low price. However, I don’t recommend going too late at night cause it does get kind of sketchy, I heard there’s fights here sometimes? Regardless, yummy food. Atmosphere could use some work but you come here for the food and you get good food.

I used to come here often, sadly I don’t think I’ll be returning, the burrito and tacos were extremely dry, The meat was tasteless. I’m disappointed this was once the holy grail, now it’s just that meh hole in the wall.

Good Mexican food for a great price! 24 hours. But a little shady and dirty late nights They have really good lengua! The asada fries are bomb too!

This place is absolute amazing. I’m satisfied with coming to this authentic spot in Southbay. Whatever type of Mexican food you enjoy they have it. The horchata paired with a burrito is the best way to go. The prices are great and the fact that they are always open makes this place even better.

The food is amazing for the quality, however the customer service that I received during the lunch hour was appalling. An older Hispanic woman was the cashier. I assume she is the manager, because the others treated her as such. As she finished with the customer in front of us, we moved up to the counter and she just stared at me. I was waiting for her to say«hi,» at least! She didn’t. I looked dead in her face and said, «hi» and kind of nodded my head as if to «teach her» that this is how you greet customers. She spoke back and then I proceeded to order. I had about 4 different orders, because I was grabbing tacos for some of my coworkers, too. We got all that done and then I see the guy start to prepare the soft tacos that I had ordered. I noticed that they were smaller than they were the other night when we came, so I told the cashier that the ones I had were bigger. She said that that was the size. So I asked her which tacos were bigger and she said that they don’t have any bigger tacos. I looked at my partner who came with me as if to say that I know I’m not crazy. Thank goodness I take pictures of my food, because I took a picture of the taco plate that I had a couple days before and I showed it to her. She just stared at it, but the cook, who was right next to her leaned over and looked and said, «Oh yes, that’s the hard shell taco plate.» Again, she just looked at me with a blank stare. The service we received today was nothing like the service we received a couple nights before. So we decided to make sure that when we go back, we will be going at night, otherwise I will find another taco place to go to. I think that the fact that they are 24 hours and that the food is good is what keeps people coming back, as the lines are really long when you go in past 9pm and even later. There are people from all walks of life in there, from the really drunk«just left the bar» type of person to young teenagers to families. It’s really old in there and they could definitely use some renovations… the floor… well, let’s just say that I hate to look at it, let alone walk on it. The booths are clean on the surface, but grab a microscope! The seating is all old and you just want to think twice before sliding in there… Lastly, they are super STINGY with the salsa bar! They count out how many itty bitty cups to give you… it’s no bigger than maybe 3 – 4 tablespoons worth! It pissed me off, because we must have bought 15 tacos and she didn’t even want to give us enough for those. I mean, come on! People are paying for the food and making salsa is not expensive(I make it all the time) so why be stingy and make people pay for a small side of it if they need more than that? Maybe next time I will rinse out my little cups and take them back with me, so I could refill them and of course grab new cups and fill those up!

Taco Sinaloa is a mexican restaurant with local clientele. No frills, no thrills and you are your own bus boy. You order at the cashier and pick up your own meal. They have a salsa bar, TV with soccer games, a juke box and a lot of beer drinkers. I have been here twice and both times the lines are long and we had to wait for a table. I only come here for the tripas and the jamaica. The tripas are fried just how I like them. The jamaica tastes home made. I tried something different and ordered a wet burrito with carnitas. Comes with either red or green chili. This is an all meat burrito for all of you carnivores out there. Carnitas havee a good flavor, but a little dry for my taste. I also ordered the carne asada fries. The carne asada have a good flavor with fresh guacamole. The fries taste and look like they are out of a frozen bag of Ore-Ida from Target. I will be sticking with the tacos, jamaica and beer.

This place holds many memories for me. An under aged me waiting in line after a night of dancing, a 21 year old me waiting in line after a night of drinking, a 25 year old me waiting in line because I begged my BF to take me, a 27 year old me waiting in line to nurse a hangover, a 30 year old me waiting in line with my tinder date LOL! And recently I took my boyfriend here! I still got the same thing I always order, asada tacos and shrimp tostada! Always a line here but food comes out quick! They are always open and have awesome music! It’s a party in here all the time! Their salsa bar is legit! Nothing fancy but delicious nonetheless. This will always be my go to place for Mexican food. Can’t go too long without having my tostada fix :) I’ve honestly had better tacos but to be able to come here any time and have a table to sit, it makes the tacos taste a million times better.

Perhaps the filthiest restaurant in Los Angeles. For starters know Mexican food… Check out my other reviews on other recommended Mexican restaurants. Sorry folks. I know this place is very popular… But their food is poor quality the place is dirty and unkept. The food itself is very mediocre and of poor taste. Com’on Carne asada with fries? What oil were they fried in? Very unhealthy. Tacos al pastor are not authentic just a greasy sauce poured over a questionable meat product. All in all… this is just nasty late night joint with poorly cooked food in a dirty ugly environment. Good Mexican food can be healthy and served in a nice and clean ambience . Will NEVER return! Yuck! One more thing… This place is surrounded by bums and drug addicts so don’t go there alone. Avoid the restrooms . Better yet Stay away… I will be calling the health department.

First let me put this out there. Awesome tacos! Great price at only $ 1.39 each! And they’re open 24-hours! That’s 5-star worthy, but unfortunately I have to start subtracting… I’ve tried their asada torta and asada gordito, but fell short of spectacular. I’ve ordered gorditos off a cart in TJ and it put this one to shame. The restaurant itself is just a mess. The restroom is just as bad. If you’re still willing to come here, stick with the tacos and a Mexican Coke and you’ll be happy. The jukebox randomly comes on and plays Mariachi, that’s an added bonus that brings it up to 3-stars.

Cheap, large portions, opened 24 hours — what’s better than that??? Had the 2 soft tacos combo for less than $ 6 and it came with rice, beans, veggies and two soft tacos. I had the lengua and pastor. The pastor was better because it had a sweet hint to it! The red hot sauce is hotter than the green at the condiments section. My boyfriend had 5 tacos, the fish one he got stood out most to me. The carne a safe fries were also very filling and we couldn’t finish. It was super cheesy and yummy though! The combos are worth it for the price and the carne a safe was $ 7 which was the most expensive item we bought. Horchata was also good and costs 50 cents for refills. Don’t mind returning if I’m around this area when I visit again. There’s also a convenient parking lot next to the restaurant!

I am have been looking for a good taco place in the area. I was looking forward to trying taco sinaloa but was disappointed. I got a headache because both the music and the tv were blaring loudly… the restraunt felt really dirty, I did not want to let my child touch anything… and the food was just ok. I got the carne asada nachos and felt that it was too oniony and did not have the right flavor balance. Pros were that there was plenty of parking and the prices were reasonable. I guess my search for a good taqueria continues

Good tacos, awesome prices. After reading the good reviews on Unilocal,we stopped in for a quick bite on our way to Smog City Brewery. Taco Sinaloa didn’t disappoint! Everyone in my group ordered tacos, how can you not at $ 1.39/each? We also got a few orders of chips and guac to share(chips were good, the guac not so much — I’d skip it and just get salsa or an extra taco). There is a nice bar of toppings and hot sauce on every table. The service was fast and everyone was very nice. Plenty of places to sit and it was not too busy though we did come on the later-side for the lunch crowd. Easy parking on the street out front. It is a relatively small place, but they’ve got two restrooms which I think is always a plus :-).

Me gusta mucho tacos y tostada de camarones! I thought i was in Mexico, boiii. their’s tacos is beyond good and the shrimp tostada is unbelievable. I got 8 tacos the carne asada, al pastor, lengua and carnitas, all in hard and soft shell. Hard shell has lettuce, tomato, cheese and guacamole. Soft shell only have onion and cilantro. All the meats were well marinated. I wish they give me more chip for the tostada, they only give me one piece of chip that was as big as my palm. what the what!?! But the shrimp was good so that made up for it. I also got the horchata too. It was good. This plate open 24⁄7 how nice is that. Price was decent. My order came out to be $ 16 something, not too bad. Customer service was great!
