Ugly Cases

Fun little shop for all your cellphone case and vinyl character needs. Our intention for this visit was to procure an S7 phone case, though the only ones sold here are for the S7 Edge and none of them are protective cases… not what we’re looking for. Sticking with the Tech21 brand this time.
Friendly shop owners and 9 million vinyl characters some on key chains, others stand alone and all packed in like organized chaos. I needed a 12 year old to give me the skinny on most of the characters.
No purchases today but now I know where to get nifty trinkets for those who enjoy this hobby.

Terrific Mom/​Pop/​Family feeling store– Miriam (I think) helped me find just the right case for my ridiculously oversized Iphone 6s, and installed a tempered glass screen protector, all for under $ 40. they have tons of cool toys, collectables, and even some «Kitsch» in addition to all the phone acc and adjuncts you could need– I found the staff to be knowledgable, bright, funny, entirely personable, and professional– thanks !!

Awesome store with great customer service. They have a huge selection of Funko Pop figures too.

We are always able to find unique collectibles here for fans of animé and manga. Great selection!

My daughter is completely obsessed with Toki Doki. As you may know these aren’t easy to come by. We were thrilled to find this lil hidden Torrance gem. They have everything from Toki Doki, to Shopkins, Funko Pop, and everything in between. M is super helpful and friendly. My daughter absolutely loved the store so we will definitely be back routinely.

This place is pretty good to swing by just for fun or to buy any last-​minute gifts. The owners are very nice and some of the items have pretty decent prices. The only downside is is that some of the items are obviously «bootleg» but that may/​may not be out of their control.

Love going to them for my kids funko. Great customer service. They even gift wrap :)

I love this store. I mean, well, my six year old loves this store. They have such a great selection of cool toys and everyone is so nice. Good prices, too. You’ll find some really fun stuff in there.

I always pass by this place and never noticed it had really cool collectibles. I mostly use to pass by the area and it never caught my eye, (but Maybe because it’s called ugly cases, so you automatically think it’s a phone place)
I ended up paying a couple of items (mostly Funko Pops) and they have the friendliest staff ever. They’re really helpful and have the best customer service ever, they answer any question you have and I like how they’re able to know what certain item or collectible you are talking about.
I will definitely go back and shop again.

Very cool place. Has huge selection of animé status and pops! Place is clean and prices are good. Always good customer service. Will definitely go back. My new place for pops especially since it’s hard to find a good solid place. Even better is the stickers they use to price the pops come off and leaves no residue!
Everyone best bet is to swing by and purchase from this place. You won’t regret buying from here.

Waiting for some good ramen at Yamadaya, I stumbled upon this store. My phone case had broken the week before so I checked this place out.
Lots of phone cases available and at great prices. I typically purchase mine online because most stores are WAY overpriced. Not the CASE here. (HAHA)
Anyway, found what I needed. $ 8 for a super nice 3 piece case for my Galaxy S6.
Aside from phone cases they sell a lot of animated and comic figurines and collectibles too.
Definitely swing by here. Especially when Yamadaya has a long wait!

Such a cool store, and such awesome staff! They are super friendly and accommodating and it’s always a joy going in there to spark a chat about anything. They have lots of cool toys and figurines you don’t usually see and my work desk is full of stuff from their store!

Although the store is small it’s a great place to you really love the products they have they have a variety of cases which are so cute.
I was online looking for cute cases and I found a dolphin case unfortunately it was 17 dollars which is a good buy but for a case it was too much. Few days later i was going by and saw the store it caught my attention and there it was the dolphin case! I was so happy they had it at such a low price I saved money !
I recommend going here it’s a lovely place to go they carry cases and Animé products also a lot of POP figures the staff are so helpful. They even gave me a discount! I love this place !

I visited this place again and it’s still wonderful today I was able to obtain something that I find very cute a latte tokidoki plush and a figure they are both so cute the staff they give you discounts and every time you visit you get a star that at the end gains you a 15% off
When you pay they give you a discount plus you can use the one on Unilocal.
At the end I save more money and I can get more products
This place is great for anyone and any age they will be captivated by all the beautiful products also they carry a variety of shopkins !

Ugly Cases is a quirky store with a lot of Japanese products sold at reasonable prices. I fell in love with a Totoro iphone case and now I regret not buying it. There’s a great selection of unique pieces and if you’re in the market this would be a great place to check out.

I really want to take a screenshot of the tempered glass screen protector that they applied to my phone but it doesn’t work that way. Technology is behind in this case.
I’ve bought two screen protectors and one phone case here. I’ll keep coming back because the screen protector takes the brunt of all blunt force trauma when I’m on a rager.
Staff is friendly and very helpful, my dad actually recommended this place to me :) loves it!
