Whole Foods Market

A woman who usually works behind the juice bar is so rude. I have never had that bad of customer service in my life. If you don’t like serving, look for a different job. If any customers don’t believe me, ask this woman a question and see how she responds. Good luck and happy shopping!

only cons are that my mom got super sick from hot food bar, and its crazy dangerous trying to get onto PCH after you are done shopping here!

Had a bad experience at the register today at 1:20. Tall slender male clerk had one customer with four items. I unload my cart and waited. Check email. Checked on Unilocal.Played Words With Friends. Turns out the clerk and the customer were old buds and had s lot to catch up on.
I reloaded the cart and checked out in another register and the two guys were still talking
What unprofessional behavior. What a total disregard for the other customers in line. If I return I will avoid slender male clerks.

I don’t do all my shopping at whole foods «too expensive», but when I do go there I expect to be able to buy Organic. This is where it gets disappointing, don’t count on Organic rotisserie chicken’s to be available especially after work unless you’re an after 6:00 or 6:30 person, that’s when I was told they put a new batch out .If you’re an 8:00 to 5:00 like myself you will find a lot of their items in the salad bar picked over. Sadly, It seems they concentrate more on their lunch people.

Love this whole foods. I go every week and the people that work there are awesome, especially the people in the prepared foods department.

I highly suggest getting the Berry Nutritious. What all comes in it, you ask?! Choice of milk (coconut milk), kale, strawberries, blueberries, bananas, flax seed and coconut shreds. If you’re into coconut like I am, this is the smoothie for you. Other than that, I’d get the Green & Glowing or the Paleo Green.
It’s really good to enjoy while doing some shopping. Ask for the code to pay up at the register or have them write the code on the cup (pay at the end). Simple as that.
The main reason for stopping in tonight… it’s time for homemade acai/​pitaya bowls! I love how affordable it is to make a one-​stop shop for all the ingredients. I spent $ 30 altogether and I can make about 8 bowls. If you get bowls a lot, you’d know I’m saving at least half my money! As for blends, you’re left to your imagination as to what you want in your bowl. If you want to re-​make one that you like from an acai place you really enjoy, go for it. Or CYO & go crazy!
Things I picked up… chocolate almond milk (liquid base), acai blends, pitaya blends, frozen berries, frozen tropical fruits, PB, coconut chia granola… what else?!! See my pictures!

I’ve tried Whole foods again a handful of times these past two years… it has not gotten better. I’ve been standing at service counter waiting for almost 10 minutes while people ignored me and kept saying «I’ll be right with you». The juice guys were just standing there and made eye contact with me several times but did not help me until I had to walk over to a cashier and ask her to call someone. So she calls on the loudspeaker and behold, one of the juice guys walks over to help me. Shocking. Then today I bought a cupcake for $ 3.99 and drove home, bit into it, and it’s STALE. Get it together Whole Foods!

I never leave whole foods without spending $ 100. They are really expensive compared to other markets like ralphs and trader joe. Having said that, the quality of the products are the best. The produce they have are non-​GMO and really really fresh. They also have a fish section, which they only carry fish that is sustainably caught. But that comes at a cost. For example, a pound of salmon cost $ 12 where as a pound of salmon from ralphs cost $ 5-​$ 6. So there is a significant price difference.
They also have a salad bar that is almost $ 9 a pound. The salad bar is great. You have a lot of options for veggies and they are really fresh. They also have fantastic fresh made pizzas. The pizzas they make there are honestly really good. Better than pizza you get at other pizza places that specialize in pizza.
They also have cured meat and cheese section, filled with unique eats.
They have a ton of free parking, a ton. They have really good service.
If you dont mind spending more on your groceries I would recommend shopping here, but if your on a tight budget I would do somewhere else. I rarely shop here because it is so expensive, but they have the highest quality and tastiest products.

Not the best WF, not the worst.
The selection is pretty good. Be careful of expired foods. The people, especially the ones who do the sauces (tartar, bbq) don’t do a good job. Dusty bottles and expired food seems to plague that one area.
Pricey, quality is sliding a bit and parking is a pain.
Get there in the morning prior to lunch to beat the crowds.
If you have the extra twenty minutes, go to the WF in El Segundo. MUCH BETTER.

My goodness, any place with a lot of parking makes my heart soar with relief.
I’m not usually one to write reviews for grocery store type places simply because I frequent them often and I don’t find it necessary, but I had such a good experience that I couldn’t not share it.
I’m not a whole foods shopper to begin with so it was a really fun little adventure to walk around and see how nicely laid out the store was and what they had to offer.
I ended up in the self-​serve /​order food area and was really blown away. I think it has to do with the fact that I don’t have this great little section at my regular Ralphs out in south central. There were so many options to choose from and a lot of people were on lunch breaks grabbing salad or other entrees for lunch which all looked amazing.
The pizza looked so bomb. I resisted and decided to get a sandwich with arugula, roast beef, cheese and red onion marmalade. That’s about as close to a healthy sandwich I can get without ordering a caprese. But the guy who made my sandwich was so sweet! His name was Rick from his name tag and he made small conversation while juggling three sandwiches.
I waited a bit longer than normal, but the older woman next to me struck up conversation and it was hilarious! She was the sweetest woman with such fire in her demands that you couldn’t help but smile.
A clean store, extra-​friendly staff, I saw a Pomeranian outside, and lots of parking! What can you not love about this location?

We love this place, the Quality is great. But I needed to fill up my water bottles for our house. And this store doesn’t have the water filtration system… I would have shopped at the store in Long Beach on PCH. We have switched to drinking PH balanced water. Then we add minerals for our health, plus good taste!
Very disappointed!

This Whole Foods is very well organized with an enormous selection of international foods. There are fresh seafoods and meats, nice selection of wines and cheeses. The store can be a bit pricey on shelved items, but the prepared dishes I believe can be a good value.
Above all, what I love about this place is the variety of fresh prepared food. What stands out for me is the Hot/​Cold food bar, which is $ 7.99 pound. They have a fantastic salad bar with plenty of fresh produce, soups, organic blends, and the hot dishes vary each day, but you are sure to get an assortment of homemade favorites and international cuisine. Always end up ordering way too much, but I spread it out throughout the week very well.

A good but small whole foods. The counter with all the to-​go food is in a awkward spot. kind of like an island. The person helping out gets bombarded with people coming from all sides during lunch time. The lady that helped me was very nice though. She went as fast as she could. One of my favorite items from that counter is the broccoli crunch salad. Something I love about whole foods is every store I’ve bought the broccoli salad it always has the same great taste. I love their consistency in the recipe for it. I also bought a mochi gelato bar… That I didn’t enjoy much. Overall, the food was tasty, the service was good and the price of my lunch was fair. Great store to grab a bite to eat.

This is a mini Whole Foods, compared to the mega Whole Foods that are being built today, like the latest one in Playa Vista. It is actually pretty nice to have a smaller Whole Foods since you can cruise around the store pretty quick.
A while ago they took over the business next door and they expanded their prepared food and they ditched their florist and created a large bulk section. One thing that is on par with the other Whole Foods is the quality and pretty high prices, although I noticed at this Whole Foods they are matching prices with the TJs in the same strip mall.
There is a large produce section, but due to the size of the store the prepared foods, butcher, fromagerie/​deli, and beer sections are much smaller than other Whole Foods.
Everyone who works here is very helpful and friendly and I have always had a great experience at the store since it opened.

I love getting juices, hot foods, and sandwiches here. Only gripe is that there’s not a variety of hot sauces, like some of the other whole foods.

Got my son’s 3^rd bday cake from the bakery department. They re-​created the picture I had sent them very nicely. My son was so excited & happy to see his cake. It also tasted very good. Along with the minion bday cake, I purchased a strawberry short cake & fruit tart for my mom & father in law bdays. They were all so fresh & tasty. Not too sweet & just perfect.

I’ve come to this Whole Foods quite randomly. Mainly to buy the acai packets, sunblock, and some other random stuff if it’s on sale. I came in once at 9 am on a Sunday, there weren’t many customers shopping. So I asked the person at the front register if she could point me to where the Chia seeds were. She just shrugged and said «I don’t know». Very helpful.
However, I’ve come at times and the service is sometimes really great. I’ve had people come up to me and asked if I need help with anything and physically walk me to the place where I needed to find what I needed.
I was also debating between sunblocks once and asked for a recommendation on which one would be better, and the person gave me her personal opinion on which one had the least amount of ingredients and which would be better for my skin.
Recommend the products and someeeee of the customer service. Sometimes if you hit a good sale, the products here can be cheaper than regular grocery store.

Whole Foods is a gourmet market, specializing in organic food, and non GMO products. They carry items which you cannot find in an otherwise commercial market like Vons or Ralph’s, but bigger than a smaller chain like Trader Joe’s.
They’ve been known to be expensive but if you come in and overlook the prices, they offer fantastic food and variety which makes it worth coming here. They have an excellent «Grab and go» option of food, where you can pick up pizza, sandwiches, prepared meats, and even a huge salad bar with hot and cold foods which you can customize the way you want. Of course there’s a price to pay, at they charge by the pound, but you can take it away, or dine inside at the restaurant.
We came here on a Sunday to find something cool to make, as it was another hot and humid summer day. We walked past the seafood counter, and the ceviche bar, then past the butcher area and the heavenly smelling smoked meats area. We were about to get a tub of gucamole and chips for dinner, when we decided to check out the salad bar. We could not decide if we wanted prepared hot food, or a nice cold salad. We even debated on the cold cut meats and perhaps make our own charcuterie platter. SO many choices!
In the end we did go with a charcuterie plate. The deli gave us samples of the meats, and we got some Italians meats, Marcona almonds, olives from the deli bar, fresh melons, and rosemary crackers, opened a bottle of bubbly, and had a nice cool dinner.

We came here to try their rotisserie chicken but we ended up buying other things like yogurt and raw vegan protein packets. Yes for the non-​GMO project.
Huge WF market and super busy. They’re expensive and that will not change but they have a wide selection of everything. Next door was the tiny but always packed TRADER JOE’S.

Went to the Whole Foods on PCH for the first time today and was blown away!
We have a lot of places to shop for groceries in the South Bay and I know this place costs more but it’s totally worth it. So many choices and hot food cases, no need to cook at home if you’re in a hurry or just don’t want to cook, Whole Foods got you bro.
This one also seemed bigger than some of the other locations I’ve been to.
