The pizza here is really good. I think it is the best pizza in torrington. I highly recommend going here for pizza. I am sure there other food is just as good, but I havnt tried it yet. Great pizza!!!

Not a lot of good things to say about this place except the outdoor patio in the summer.

Followed this place since 1984 when it was up by Cumberland Farms, so I believe I can say consistent all the way. Bachi knows his sauces and I have always found that to be the best part of the meal. I have had the whole menu over 3 decades. Only section I have not had is the fish, But only because when I go to Boston, I zone in on fish at my childhood hunts. My kid loves all his fish plates. I have never had the dessert since my plate has so much on it. But if I had to pick my favorite meal it would be the Pasta Lover’s Delight

Had my husband’s 50th birthday party at Bachi’s in the banquet room and it was awesome! The food was impeccable as usual and the service was fabulous! All my guests keep saying how good it was! Highly recommended!!!

Next time you are in town you need to visit!!! Ask for Victoria!!! She is usually bartending or waitressing!!! Shes really turned things around for Bachi!!! She’s very attentive and fast, and so sweet. Much better than past and current staff… I wish she bartended on the weekends though… She’s much better then Friday night bartender. Bachis food is amazing though. I would really suggest checking things out if you’ve never been, or go back and ask for Victoria. She’ll take very good care of you.

I had dinner while staying for a couple of nights at Bachi’s. The service was pleasant, but the food was mediocre. I enjoyed the clam chowder. The Fettucine Alfredo was a gloppy, tasteless mess. There was also an off-taste in two different beers that I tasted.

For the past few years, my colleagues and I have come to Bachi’s annually for dinner before our students graduate. The food has never been stellar, but the restaurant is so close to the Warner that I didn’t think much about it. Then there was last night. I generally don’t like to write a review based on one experience, but I feel that it is my duty as a Unilocaler. We arrived 75 minutes before we had to be at our destination and the restaurant was empty. My party ordered pretty basic fare, some salads, wraps, and pasta. We waited for over an hour for our food to appear, and the orders were even wrong. I ended up with a completely different wrap than I had ordered and it was terrible. The veggie wrap that I didn’t want but had to eat because of our schedule had maybe 3 pieces of lettuce, 5 pieces of squash, 2 roasted red peppers, and 4 mushrooms. It was soggy when it arrived at the table. We asked for boxes immediately because we couldn’t actually eat our dinners, and when I brought it home, even my ravenous boyfriend wouldn’t touch it. Normally the service makes up for the food and wait, but even that wasn’t too great. I imagine she was too embarrassed to talk to our table. Maybe my expectations are too high, but I was seriously disappointed by this experience and will never return to Bachi’s. I am only giving it two stars based on my other experiences here and the location, but last night didn’t even merit one star.

Went there on a Monday, the staff were extremely slow and the manager seemed like a not so nice fella. The food was ok at best. I got the chicken parm, there was almost no ziti and the chicken tasted cheap. For the price I guess I expected a lot better as my meal alone came out to almost 20 $. All and all, won’t be going here again.

My wife and I decided to try some place different. We were pleasantly surprised. The food was really good. The owner is a very friendly host. The atmosphere was great. It’s not stuffy but it’s a nice place. It does appear to be a pre-show dinner spot. It was packed when we arrived but only waited about 5 – 10 minutes. That was perfect for 1 drink at the bar. We will definitely go back.

Very disappointing. We had a 6:15 reservation before a show at the Warner. We asked the waitress for a few minutes to look at the menu. She never came back so I had to flag her down. We ordered lasagna, egg plant and prime rib. The lasagna noodles were hard and the sauce tasteless. The egg plant was average. The meat was quite chewy so I doubt if it actually was prime. The portions were quite large but the food was below average.

Horrible experience! I only gave it one star because I had to! We made reservations in advance because we were going to a show at the warner for 8pm. Got there a little before our 6:30pm reservation and were sat right away. We got our drinks pretty fast then placed our appetizer and meal order. Almost an hour and a half later we got our meal and didn’t have time to eat it due to the show!!! Our app took close to an hour we were told someone took our order. Then when our meal took 90 minutes we were told our ticket was lost. Our waitress was nice and said this always happens to one table but never this bad. Really! Someone takes our appetizer for another table but then our meal ticket gets lost after that. We couldn’t even enjoy our dinner or drinks before the show. Very disappointed. To top it of we didn’t get a drink on the house or nothing! Next show well definitely be going else where.

I haven’t even been to this place, but when we were at Sawyer’s down the rd, we had some kid claiming to be from Bachi’s come up to us in the bar trying to lure my girl friend and I to a private upstairs party with free drinks and drugs. We said no and he kept harassing us and pushing it until my boyfriend came back from the bathroom. We watched him go around and prey on all the girls in the bar.

Well, i afforded the benefit of the doubt before writing this but… the owner is a jerk and everyone knows it. Came in from the bar next door and told that i should take my money elsewhere, which i would have if i wasnt with a group. How rude! Strength and price of drinks is a 4/10, which is nowhere near passing. Dont bother with take-out either, just a waste of time with a boring and generic style of italian that would make any true native cringe. If ever my group of friends is going, i loathe the bachis experience. Save your time on the watered down draft beers, cause they dont taste«right» and visit the other decent bars in the area.

Staff is extremely friendly! The owner is very hospitable. The food is great! Being from N.Y.and missing the pizza… this is as close as it gets up here in the nw corner! Great place for a meal, hanging out or just in for a drink. Lots of weekly specials and live entertainment!

ok don’t know where to begin… was there today ordering pizza to go so my hubbie decided to have a beer while we wait. We were comlpetly disgusted by the gnats that were all over that place im not talking one or two there were literally 20 – 30 gnats on the wall closest to the entry door and they were flying all around us as well not including how the bartender was more worried about being on her cell phone rather than tending to her customers. oh one last thing their pizza wasn’t even good today we will NEVER order from there again

This review is from 6 years ago. That was the last time I gave that cocky little prick a red Sucked. Toppings falling all over the place with a lame soggy thin crust. Not a fan of him or his food.

Whoever bakes the bread should quit. Food was bland. My mother had the Italian grinder and the salami looked sickly. The cold cuts had the complexion of a zombie. Fried mozzarella was over cooked and the sauce was forgettable. I had the hot Italian grinder and the sub was not toasted and the meats tasted frozen not fresh. Was looking forward to a good meal. But even service was lackluster.

Pretty awesome place! We came here the other night and had a few drinks. We really liked the separate dance area upstairs, with loud music, an ok DJ and gooood drinks. Downstairs was crowded but to me that’s the sign of a great bar. There was an older crowd who ate for a while and then left, and the younger crowd came and made it much more alive. I really enjoed the outside area. It’s super big and super appealing(:
