Love this nail salon. You won’t find a cleaner salon with the highest quality nail service. I have gone over 4 weeks without needing a fill (not a one cracked nail). I also bring my 4 year old and they accommodate her for a pedicure with a discounted price.

Not really sure why this salon has Soo many 5 star reviews. I looked at their reviews and website and decided to try them out. I get my nails done regularly with acrylic and they had photos and reviews of acrylic nails. I only needed a Polish change this time but wanted to go to a place that also did acrylic to sort of test them out and see how they did. Then i find out he no longer does acryllic. The woman did my toes fine but then she put like 3 or 4 coats on my fingers. I sat there drying for like 20 mins and they said I was good so I paid and left. They don’t accept tip on card (which I’d love to look into the laws about this) however this is not mentioned anywhere. There should be a disclaimer on the door or somewhere so you don’t feel like a total jackass. As soon as I got in my car the nail Polish started smudging. Not like little nicks but like half the Polish came off a few of the nails because the coat was done so thick. I came back after going to bank to 1. Tip (even though they didn’t deserve it) and 2. For them to fix my nails. I ask and the guy says polish change isn’t included in 10 day guarantee. However I had no clue what this guarantee was just wanted to have them fix something that any other salon wouldn’t question (like it was seriously 5 mins later all my nails looked crazy). Then he said next time sit longer. So I said your nail tech told me I was done. I was willing to sit as long as I needed to. It was a sloppy job. Another woman redid my nails for free and did a decent job but the attitude of the man alone was enough to give me a headache.

I have been to several places in Torrington and Avon trying to find a place that gives a good manicure. I am not very hard to please but I could not find one place I would go back to. I even tried fancy, expensive places. I needed a place that would shape my nails nicely, and paint them without it looking messy. It’s amazing how hard it was to find.
Now that I have been to tips and toes I will likely never go anywhere else. Rosa did my nails beautifully! Great attention to detail. Tom was absolutely amazing with customer service. So concerned with my manicure and making sure I was satisfied. The price was extremely low for such an awesome manicure. Can’t wait to go back again and again.

I moved to Winsted back in mid August and was looking for somewhere closer than where I had been going (Waterbury). I liked my place in Waterbury but I didn’t love it, but after 3 years of searching it was the best I had found. Stumbled upon this place on Unilocal and not only did it have a ridiculous amount of amazing reviews the photos were stunning.
This place is hands down (no pun intended) the BEST Nail salon in Ct. It is clean organized, aesthetically pleasing to the eyes. Its updated, gorgeous pedi spa chairs. The customer service is bar none the above and beyond variety.
Tom is the owner and knows his clients, their lives and they know his. When you walk in, it’s like your «Cheers». But besides all that, Tom (and Im sure the others as well from the other reviews) is meticulous in his work as he pays great attention to detail. Yesterday I decided to get a design. a snowflake and I was sure it would be good, but I had no idea. It was the most phenomenal snowflake I had ever seen drawn, let alone on a nail! It’s freakin magical! (Pic posted). He is not only meticulous he should be respected as an artist.

I love this nail salon and am definitely planning on returning! I was very pleased walking in for the first time seeing a beautifully put together salon. It was very professionally looking and sparkling clean (even the bathroom was spotless) I came in with a very specific idea in mind and got exactly what I wanted at a very decent price :)

I was hesitate to try something new but was pleasantly surprised. The spa was immaculate and all utensils were sanitized. The manicure was well done, the stylist making sure everything was equal in length, no rough edges and several coats of product to insure a long lasting manicure. The owner Tom was extremely personable. I will surely return.

Just had the best pedicure in town. How did I not know about this place? And they are celebrating their third anniversary! The polish is perfection, my heels are scrubbed clean, and everyone was so nice. This is not one of those places where the technicians are talking about you while you’re sitting there, or where they forget about you while you’re waiting. They’re super professional and give perfect service. You can tell they take pride in a job well done. All at the same price as everyone else in town. Thank you. Much appreciated.

My daughter and I were in search of mani-​pedis on Memorial Day and thanks to Unilocal,I found this salon. I called to make sure they were open and made an appointment for an hour later. We were promptly greeted and took our time choosing colors. When we finally decided (!) we were seated next to each other in massage chairs with functioning massage (!)
The «spa» pedi was $ 30 (ten day guarantee) for a relaxed hour+ careful scrub, wash, soak, massage and expert callous removal. Hot stone massage and warm towel wrap finished the «spa» portion and then careful application of polish followed.
The manicure ($ 12) was equally relaxing and expertly performed. The place is spotless and relaxed, and Tom (owner), his wife Lily and Gaby were working when we were there. There seem to be loyal regulars and it’s clear why. Having forgotten to change into sandals before venturing to the salon, I rued having to put my tretorns back on. They said «no worries» and provided me with complimentary, new flip flops to wear home! (Not the thin temporary ones all salons provide, but real ones.). This is my new go-​to place in Torrington.

Tom does a great job on my acrylics. I have never had one lift since I have been going here. Would recommend to anyone. He can always get you in for an appointment.

Tom keeps a very clean salon. I’ve been going there for more than a year. They have 10 day guarantee should you need it, but not likely because their quality is great. I would recommend Gaby she does a great job!

I’ve been going to Ami since February 2013. I love how they stand by the work. 10 day guarantee if anything fails. I look forward every visit because I know it’s going to be the most relaxing 1 – 2 hrs of my week.

Such a great place! Went in for a manicure without an appointment and they got me in right away. Amy took care of me and she was fantastic! Also really great pricing. Only 12 bucks for a manicure and new clients get a 10% discount too. Will definitely be back.

Came in for the first time for a pedicure. The place was quiet and clean and very relaxing. The woman doing my pedi did a great and thorough job. She was very nice and took her time. I can honestly say that it was the best pedicure I have ever had… and then they gave me 10% off for being a first time customer. Definitely stop in here you will not regret it!

Had a great experience here… Friendly and competent staff. Peaceful family friendly atmosphere… My friend got a french manicure and i got a regular manicure. Very pleased with the results. Good pricing.
