Absolutely loved this place. Very clean and inviting. The front desk and breakfast hosts were very helpful and friendly. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms were beautiful. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Day 31. We continue our sojourn through the frozen wastes and happen upon a local hostelry with rooms to let and food to spare. This one is better than the last, offring a cheap bacon and some imitation egg rather than dry turnips and mouldy bread. The rooms are better, as well, but is not difficult to beat an old straw pallet.
Day 32. Our hosts continue to be polite, and even clean up after us. There is hot water for those inclined to bathe, and the bedding proved to be comfortable enough and without insects. The proximity to other useful townfolk helps, as we have already lost a sherpa to this damn cold and I can’t afford to take on another. Does the sun ever shine on this damn place?
Day 33. Have attempted to communicate our conditions to the university. Our sponsors must know these conditions before another party is attempted. The normal post is slow as usual, but, unexpectedly, or perhaps, typically, one can pay for expedited services. We’ve enough funds for that, fortunately, as I’d like to hear from the fellows before venturing further onward.
Day 34. We will be moving out tonight. Our hosts assure us we’ve not worn out our welcome, and seem to remain amply provisioned. Another party will be following us, and soon. I will send back word for them to accomodate themselves here, and pray to God the weather is kinder to them.

I stayed for several days in August 2013. The hotel is brand new. Everything was super clean. It’s located on a high traffic road in an industrial area (which is a plus or minus depending on what you’re looking for). The standard rooms are larger than normal and seem to be ‘business class’ compared to other hotel rooms. The staff were very nice and I had a good experience there.
