As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and taken to the wash bowl. My stylist was very friendly and styled my hair quickly, it was done in an hour. The salon is very modern and pretty and also clean. Will be coming back.

Friendly, skilled and talented! Love it. So easy to make an appointment online or by phone, then a great shampoo, head massage, and I leave looking so good. My hair anyway! Saves time and is perfect for a special occasion.

I was on time and the stylist was running late. I got a wash from one of the other stylist’s and it was the best part of the whole experience, no one offered to hang my coat, a drink while I waited, had me look at the style book. When she finally got to me, she blew my hair out in 15 minutes and it was frizzy and looked terrible. I had to go back to hotel and re-​style, thanking god I had brought my blow dryer on my trip. I do not have difficult hair to style. If you want a Professional quality blow-​out DO NOT go here, it’s a cheap knock off of Blo and Drybar.

I got a Blowout by Hannah and it was great !! I got a lot of compliments on it. Would def recommend if you’re in the area.
Place was pretty empty but I went on a weekday during the day. Employees were friendly and very chatty.

Never have I been to a hair salon and been treated like this. I get a blowout once every 2 weeks at a different salon. I thought I would give this salon a try. First I called to verify my appointment and they had no record so I needed to book again. Walking in I got an attitude from the hairdresser she asked to dry blow my hair? What? doesn’t a blow out include washing, obviously not.

I have been to haute about a dozen some times in the past two years. I would frequent the same stylist. He was amazing and always did my hair perfectly. Well… He has since left the salon. Ok no big deal I will try a new stylist. The next time I got Hannah. She was great and my hair looked exactly as I asked. The second time… Oh god. I got Tracy. I’m pretty sure this girl was high the entire time she was doing my hair. She was terribly unprofessional and inappropriate with what was coming out of her mouth. Not to mention her tone made her sound like she was obviously impaired. I specifically told her not to flat iron my hair. Next thing I know she’s flat ironing! I was in misery watching her fry my hair and tug at it. I literally wanted to scream stop at the top of my lungs. Then… She asks how I like it. Honestly I was so in shock that she though that this was acceptable as a finished product that I couldn’t believe it. I basically (and politely) said that it looked frizzed on the ends and that its been smoother. She was extremely butthurt by this. Basically made me feel stupid for voicing my opinion about what she just did to my hair honestly. Then she muttered some pathetic quip «oh I guess I tried to do too much, I just do too much sometimes» WHAT! WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN! She was high. Or drunk. And I will never go back. I work in Bethesda. I got to the Dry bar now.

I’ve always gotten great service at Haute-​between a handful of formals, my birthday and graduation! All the girls are really nice and friendly, and have always listened to me explain what I want to do with my hair, and do a really good job.
They are also very accommodating– always offering coffee, water or even champagne! and make me feel very comfortable. Although $ 40 can seem a little steep for a blowout, I really think it’s justified since they do a good job. And occasionally they send out coupons/​deals if you’re on their mailing list which can help :)

I really really loved this place! They are very kind and listen to exactly what you want! Lauren did my hair and she was extremely nice and really keeps up a good conversation! It was my first experience at a dry bar and I am absolutely hooked on it now! Definitely check this place out!

2.5 There is a difference in the locations. Loved the Baltimore location. At this one, she pulled my hair, didn’t put any heat protectant before blow drying or ironing my hair. Not great overall. Not interested in providing an experience for client.

Love love haute blow dry bar! The service is great and the stylists are amazing, especially Jasmine she will have your hair so on point. From the wash, that really gets your hair clean with a head massage to blowing it out super sleek and/​or with curls! Every time I’m in town this is my go to spot for a blowout!

They did an excellent job in handling my hair. I have kinky African hair and they made it flow. I have the confidence to let it down.

Amazing blowout! I got so many compliments at the wedding I went to. Absolutely loved my hair! Can’t wait to go back! Shop was nicely decorated and very modern. Stylist was on time. Got an amazing shampoo and scalp massage! This is my new go to spot!

I couldn’t be happier with my experience at Haute! I get my nails done at Dulaney Nails next door and noticed Haute on my visits and always wanted to give them a try. I am SO glad that I did. An event came up that I was to attend downtown and thought it would be a perfect time to get all done up. It was also my first time trying a blow dry bar.
Making my appointment was super simple and I felt at home as soon as I walked in the door. After I settled in with a glass of white wine, I got my blowout/​style from Hannah and full makeup done by Davon. I can’t say enough about these two, they were amazing and definitely masters of their craft. Everyone was super friendly and attentive and I enjoyed my experience almost as much as the actual event!
I left feeling like a million bucks and ready to conquer the world! Well maybe not the world but trust me ladies, it’s worth every penny! They also give you a discount for getting both your hair and makeup done together. I will definitely be back to see Hannah and Davon again. Thank you Haute!

The stylists there couldn’t be nicer. Unfortunately for me the one that I got was fresh out of high school (she told me she just graduated in May) and had no idea what she was doing. I am a pretty flexible person and told her I wanted a blow dry and some curls and volume. When she pulled out large rollers I told her I have never had success with them and would prefer of she used a curling iron. She told me there would be time at the end to use a curling iron if I was unhappy. An hour and ½ later I was unhappy, my hair looked awful (completely unflattering to my face) and I left in tears because I didn’t have time to fix it before my event. Completely ruined my night. I would suggest asking for a stylist with experience if you go. There were some experienced stylists there that did I beautiful job with other ladies hair in ½ of the time that mine took.

I went to the Towson location last weekend and saw Cecelia for a blow out and it was great! The bar is really cute and they do play chick flicks on the tv which is fun.
I told Cecelia I wanted my hair to keep as well as possible for something else the next day. After she was finished, Cecelia showed me some great tips for how to sleep on my hair to keep it looking great for the next day.
My hair looked great when she was finished with it! I will definitely be going back again.

Come here every week to get my hair blown out and they do an amazing job! I promise if you go you’ll be addicted and never want to have to do your own hair again!

Disappointed. I’m by no means a neat freak, but I could see dirt in the corners, and the chair I was put in was unstable. The girl who dried my hair was incredibly unprofessional, and chatted with other employees most of my appointment about how annoyed she was about another appointment she had that day. She seemed rushed, and my hour long appointment I paid for ended after 45 minutes. She told me she didn’t spray my hair because she wanted it to fall naturally. Well an hour later it looked like crap. Don’t waste your money.

Went in 45 minutes before they closed and they refused service. I don’t think business will work when you reject paying customers. Would not recommend. Apparently they have a lot of business that they can refuse despite the fact they had zero customers.
