History

Established in 2008.

With more than thirty years of music retail, repair, custom work, and as a professional musician, Keith Larsen established Mid Atlantic Drum in 2008. His goal was to launch a full service drum and percussion shop that catered to the specific needs of drummers of all levels, while taking pride in personal customer service and satisfaction.

Business Owner

Keith Larsen is a staple of the Baltimore music scene since the early 1970’s. His work with Silverqueen, Kat & the Burglars, MAK, Lucifer, and many others have made him a sought-​after live drummer.

Additionally, he’s been a huge asset to the drumming community in Baltimore, Maryland from a retail and manufacturing standpoint. He founded the Baltimore Drum company in 1986, continued on as Maryland Drum from 2001 – 2008, and is back making the same top-​quality custom drums that he built his name on again as Baltimore Drum Company.

He also provides sound reinforcement and back line rental services via Larsen Sound Group.
