RJ and I stopped here because they had pancetta wrapped mango shrimp on the menu. Only they didn’t. They had some spicy mango sauce shrimp as an appetizer. It was pretty good, but not the item we came for. We both had steak salads. RJ had Caesar and I had house. The steak was tender and rare and cooked perfectly. There were a lot of drunk college girls that night, some hit on me and some tried to involve me in their drunk girl squabble. Definitely an interesting place.

This place has been a towson staple since the turn of the century! Crab cakes are LEGIT and the Ribs are AMAZING! Handcut fries to order and fantastic cream of crab soup. They only have 5 or 6 drafts, but there is always something worthy of a craft snob’s palate on tap. Just a all around great neighborhood bar and grill.

Nice little restaurant in a small shopping center. I have been here a few times, and have enjoyed the food each time I have come here. I recommend getting the baby back ribs platter that they have. Very tender and really good. I have also had a decent burger here as well. I have never sat in the bar area, and it’s a little small actually, but the restaurant section is pretty nice. Will definitely continue to come here in the future.

Food was great, service was poor. Three of us got there and were seated and immediately ordered drinks AND our food at 7 p.m. on a Thursday. My salty French Onion soup arrived and then the drinks — four beers! Food came for rest of party — it was GREAT — raw oysters, ribs, steak — — done perfectly. Service continued to be slow even though it appeared to have three servers in a non-packed restaurant. Waitress never updated us on, «Food should be here shortly» or «We’re short handed in kitchen» or «Gee, do you want a second drink?» Again, food was perfect, service wasn’t what would have been expected.

We were with a large party here for drinks and appetizers. The best part was that the beer was icy cold. The bad part was that we ordered about 8 appetizers and they were just not up to par. The potato skins were tasteless and cold. The pizza was just not flavorful, calamari was also cold and we ordered 2 different kinds of shrimp and ended up not finishing any of the apps we ordered. But, the beer was good.

Came here on a Wednesday night the place was about half empty. I have been coming here for years and it is seriously going down hill. It needs some serious love and care in the interior and the bathrooms are disgusting and smell absolutely terrible. The food is ok — the lettuce in my salad had red pieces on it which suggests it is not fresh.

We had oysters and MD Crab soup to start. Both were excellent. The portobello sandwich and blackened chicken sandwich were very good as well. It seems like the home make their fries and chips. We’ll definitely come back

I came here for lunch while visiting my cousin in college. It is a small, unassuming restaurant in the middle of a small strip mall. I walked in half expecting a dumpy greasy spoon but was pleasantly surprised to see the amount of class the place had. It is very nice but still casual enough where you can be wearing a hoodie and jeans. I got the ribs with Pig Blanket Bingo(sweet and spicy) bbq sauce. The portion wasn’t huge but fine size for lunch. The meat was falling of the bone and very moist. The prices were not overly expensive. I would def go back if in the area. If a dinner experience is this food I would change my review to 5 stars.

Had dinner with my wife and daughter here last Thursday night. We sat in the bar at one of the tables. Service was very average as the bartender has to come around to the tables, so if he/she/they are busy, you have to wait. What was more disappointing were the ribs. We all ordered the Kentucky Bourbon Rib platters. When the ribs arrived, it looked as though the chef had simply removed them naked from the microwave, used a squirt bottle and shot the sauce over the top of the ribs, then spread the sauce around with a spoon. Sauce was cold and thick. In addition to being overcooked, they weren’t even hot. The accompanying fries were horrible. Our second time here and probably the last. The first time was better, but still no comparison to Corner Stable’s ribs.

Strip mall bar that’s been here for a long time. Good place for locals to get a beer and a bite to eat. I wouldn’t make the trek here if it’s over 10 – 15 min. Everyone raves about the ribs but as a rib guy they are not that good and you don’t get a lot for the money. The burgers are ok as is most of the food. It gets crowded in the bar during happy hours since its a small space but there are lots of tables in the back. Checks the pics. Nothing grand.

Been here a couple of times this week and everything I’ve had has been good. Tried the ribs, which fell off the bone. Also has the pulled pork wrap, which ought to be served with fries instead of chips, but was still quite tasty. Would return.

We live so close by and somehow we had never gone in to try the place out. We ordered the ribs and pull apart pork. It was excellent! The ribs specially… fall off the bones type of well cooked. So delicious. Will go back for more for sure!

I was really, really not looking forward to coming here after reading the reviews, but I didn’t pick the spot so was just planning to suck it up. I was pleasantly surprised. The only food that wasn’t very good was the(rubbery) calamari, but the crab dip, cream of crab soup, and caesar salad were all really good. I didn’t realize this was as small as it is, and that it was half dumpy bar and half slightly less dumpy restaurant, but the food was good, and our waitress was a lot nicer than I expected based on previous reviews. Not in a rush to get back but wouldn’t mind coming again.

For a strip mall bbq spot this isn’t too bad. Having spent a significant amount of time in the midwest, we know bbq. So the above statement should be taken as a compliment for a local spot in Towson. The menu plays to it’s strengths, keeping it simple with bbq ribs, a raw bar, and a few salads and sandwiches thrown in to balance. The portions aren’t bad and the wait staff is fairly decent. The music plays too loud and the décor reminds you you’re eating in a strip mall. But it’s not that bad. Just a whole bag of average.

Had lunch with a coworker buddy at Razorback’s today, my first time there despite working in Towson forever! Overall decent enough… my pal’s chicken breast sandwich, which he ordered with bbq sauce in lieu of its usual honey mustard, looked really good and he thoroughly enjoyed its spicy kick. My tarragon chicken salad on ciabatta, meanwhile, was just OK. A bit of a different taste than the usual chicken salad, but the chicken was more shredded and not my preferred chunky style. Both sandwiches were accompanied by chips, and going with fries is a cost upgrade. Since the sandwiches didn’t come with fries we elected to get an appetizer order of onion rings, which were pretty numerous, nicely battered, and not at all greasy… all good things. Taste was fine, but nothing to write home about. I don’t know why so very few places keep their onion ring batter so plain Jane, even when the rings(like at Razorback’s) aren’t accompanied by a dipping sauce. I went with good ol’ ketchup to liven things up. Our waitress was plenty attentive, though our refills either turned from diet to regular Cokes, or the Diet Coke on the machine went funky. Total bill was almost $ 29 minus the tip, which puts the pricing at so-so in my book. Think I’ll try that chicken sammy next time around!

DONOTWASTEYOURTIMEORMONEY! Rudest wait staff ever. Waiter was chewing gum. Was completely neglectful! Brought out bread plates that were dirty and had a piece of long hair stuck to it. Potato skins appetizer was burnt! Hubby’s ribs were burnt! And has had a stomach ache ever since ingesting them. My Shrimp Newburg was at the most«okay». And only«okay» because there were lots of nice sized shrimp in the dish! Seriously go somewhere else. Anywhere else. Mall food court would be gourmet compared to the shenanigans they serve.

I first visited a few years ago, and decided to return because a friend of mine wanted ribs. I didn’t remember much about this place, but I did recollect that the ribs here were/are awesome. It’s good to know that my memory hasn’t failed me… yet. The ribs were falling off the bone– juicy and tender with just the right amount of sauce. However, I am sad to say that is the only reason to pay any attention to this place. The sides that came with the ribs were gross– soggy and limp Boardwalk-style fries and gross cole slaw. It boggles the mind that something smothered in dressing could be dry, but I almost choked on it. I wasn’t in the mood for ribs so I decided to play it safe by ordering a Caesar Salad and the Smoked Mozzarella Pasta. Kudos to the chef for delivering yet another selection featuring a dry liquid. He/she was able to achieve a striking balance via the overcooked pasta which was smothered in sauce. It felt apart when my fork hit it and ended up looking like mush on my plate. No dessert review. I passed on dessert. I didn’t have confidence that a place that can’t get pasta right could deliver a dessert that I could/would/should eat. Note to self: Razorbacks is good for ribs, and only ribs. Order anything else, and it’s a crap shoot!

Great bar with lots of tv’s for watching sports. Service was unfriendly. Had to ask for every refill, silverware, check etc. The food was okay. Nothing to write home about. I ordered the filet mignon medium rare it came well done. We had clams casino that was the highlight of the meal. Our server was leaving without even saying goodbye so we didn’t know who to give the check too. I would go back and give this place one more chance.

We have been going to Razorbacks since before my daughter was born!(She’ll be nine in December.) When we started going they were located in Canton but have since moved to Towson. We both always get the crab cakes. They are always big and delicious! Service has always been good as well! I highly recommend them!
