I was having a recurring issue with my Honda Accord that kept making my emissions/​check engine light come on. Dan astutely identified that the issue was being caused by an outdated on board cpu system that needed an update by the dealership. Dan further identified potential for damage to my catalytic converter as a result of this model defect. Dan provided me with a service bulletin and the information I needed to have the dealership make the needed Adjustment to my car computer and replace my catalytic converter as well for virtually no cost!!! Many mechanics would have likely «milked me» given that I had no knowledge of this rampant issue with my car. Dan was is always 100% honest with me, not too mention going above and beyond to help me get my vehicle fixed. You will not be disappointed if you bring your vehicle to Dan and his team at D&M!!!

I’ve had the worst experience with auto repair in Tracy. From lies to damaging my car. I was referred to D and M and I’m glad I was. Dan is like a breath of fresh air. I trust him 100% and he knows what he’s doing. A+ shop

This place is authentic and awesome! Dan is very honest and informational, trust me he will not rip you off. He may call you trying to sell you on something else he found but that’s why he is in business because he can do the big jobs so just be ready to find some other things wrong with the whip.
I will only take my vehicles to d&m he charges fair but beside what he charges he is nice he smiles and he’s a nice guy and people that are genuinely nice deserve business!

Honest place! They do great work at great prices. This is a place that, as a woman who knows nothing about automobiles, I feel comfortable taking my vehicle knowing they won’t take advantage of that and over-​charge or recommend things I don’t need. They are very quick too! Go talk to Dan and he’ll help you out!

I appreciate the honesty and the integrity I have seen makes me recommend them to everyone I know.

I know next to nothing about auto repairs, and what I find most respectable about this place is that Dan and his staff are honest dudes that won’t take advantage of people like myself.
If you’re going to get work done on your car, get it done here. Dan will price you at the correct amount, never attempt to upsell you, and you’ll leave satisfied.

Dan knows his stuff. He always takes great care of my fleet of 3 hondas, 1 toyota, and 1 Acura. I especially like when he tells me when something doesn’t need changed or fixed. I trust this small automotive business because he rejects unnecessary work. Regular Oil changes, tire rotations, filter, 3 timing belts with water pumps and 1 started replaced this year. All running great with no problems. He has a great crew and does a great job. I highly recommend D & M Automotive

I took my minivan here because my friend just loves Dan and his great service. I thought that their customer service was great and the price was much better than comparable places in the San Ramon Valley. He didn’t find the main problem that I went in there for, so that’s why I took away a star. I’m not sure if anyone would have been able to diagnose it until the part completely failed, but it would have saved me a lot of trouble a few months later!
